The money was still taken but I have no ticket, order or email confirmation. It’s been weeks now and there’s still no action taken. I advise don’t use this app. ### 1/5 — Appalling *2024-12-25* There is a large volume of people complaining about Ticketek and lack of refund/being unable to rebook tickets cancelled due to poor weather. I am honestly disgusted at how difficult this has been. Cancelling on the day as we were on our way (early due to weather and having a little one who we have to stop with) is not the first time this has happened to us, it’s actually the 3rd now. But I understand the weather cannot be helped. They sent us the process of how to exchange tickets/get a refund which was very easy to follow however as soon as you click ‘exchange’ on the app it comes up with an error message and says to try again later. I have tried hundreds of times, and I get the same message every single time! The app is useless as is their costumer service! Avoid ### 1/5 — App doesn’t work *2024-12-23* Terrible app - had our tickets shared with me, when I tried to get them on the app, it said I already had an account (I don’t). Waited for an email to reset my “account” that never appeared. Eventually I went to the mobile website and signed up this way instead and it worked. Also can’t add the tickets to my Apple wallet, hoping that won’t be an issue at the event later! ### 1/5 — Terrible *2024-12-20, version 3.1.43* A terrible app that just frames the website. Apple Wallet links never work. Just a terrible experience overall. ### 1/5 — Terrible *2024-12-14* Wish I could give zero. First time using for my wife and I, same problem - claimed we both already had accounts. When we clicked forgot password no email arrives (still after 9 hours). As a result we aren’t able to have tickets shared with us. Event cancelled , however only one ticket out of two refunded due to the appalling functionality of this ticketing app. ### 1/5 — Appalling App *2024-12-05* Tried getting a refund for tickets cancelled by Blenheim Palace. App was glitchy and didn’t work properly. Only able to refund part and not all of trip. ZERO ability to be able to call or speak to anyone. Worse than useless on-line enquiry form. ### 1/5 — Worst ticket platform *2024-12-04* Can't access your tickets on web, and when you try to add them to your Apple wallet from the app it just doesn't work. My event has been cancelled and I've been offered to exchange my tickets. When I try to do it from the app, it just keeps loading the the available dates, so can't do anything. And of course you can't do it from the web. ### 1/5 — Useless *2024-11-24* If not providing a refund of admin fees for a cancelled event is bad enough you then encounter the issue that you can’t exchange tickets because the app crashes (assume it can’t handle the traffic for relatively small events?) A terrible reflection on any agency using this app for their ticketing ### 1/5 — Event cancelled/Exchange options not available *2024-11-23* My event was cancelled due to bad weather and I received an email telling me to download the app so I could exchange my tickets. The app doesn’t offer the functions described in the email and tried to charge £9:50 to exchange a £7 parking ticket. Have emailed but would not recommend ### 1/5 — Not a good app *2024-10-30* I made an error on the date and I was trying to locate their exchange tab apparently which should be there when you view your tickets but none found . I have emailed them to see my date can be moved but await a response . I am so unhappy and disappointed that we cannot go. My child will be so sad. Lost my £90 now! ### 1/5 — Bad app *2024-10-28, version 3.1.42* If there was less than one star you would get it No answers to questions unable to add tickets to wallet talk about a pointless app ### 1/5 — Horrible to use *2024-03-28* Worryingly the Motorpoint Arena Nottingham are using this platform for their tickets. You can’t add tickets to your Apple wallet like it claims, you can’t print the PDF ticket directly from it. I doubt it will work at the event with busy signal Internet. Also I have bought 4 tickets, the mobile ticket only shows 2? Worst ticket app platform I’ve ever used. ### 1/5 — Doesn’t work *2023-11-26* Tried 2 emails saying both registered but aren’t. Then try and reset password and says I don’t have a red for this page. Shocking can’t believe companies trust the app to share tickets terrible experience wish didn’t have to use it!! ### 1/5 — Horrendous Experience *2023-10-02, version 3.1.34* This app can’t be relied upon at all and caused us serious problems at a gig recently. It should be removed from the App Store. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Login issues and missing ticket *2026-06-23* Dreadful app. Created an account online on my laptop. When I go to login on the mobile app it says “incorrect email/password”. I change the password yet I still receive the same error message. I am still somehow able to create a new account with the exact same details. But now the ticket that has been transferred to me is nowhere to be seen. I have all of the emails proving an account was created and a ticket was sent to me. Useless ### 1/5 — Password reset and locked my account *2026-06-13* Worst app I’ve ever used. Tried resetting my password as I set a suggested strong password (don’t trust this company with frequently used passwords.) tried changing it and it won’t let me log in even when putting in the correct password. Now they’ve locked me out my account. Forcing people to download an app to get their tickets isn’t a good business move. ### 1/5 — Invasive notifications that can’t be cancelled *2025-12-27* I had to get this app for an event. It kept giving notifications on my Home Screen for which I hadn’t given permission. Turned them off. Tried to delete the notification and each time there was no option to cancel and the notification wouldn’t go until I restarted my phone. Deleted the app and then yet another notification. I will be notifying the event organisers. ### 1/5 — Won’t refund following cancellation *2025-12-10* Event at Dunham Massey cancelled due to weather. Ticketek refuse to refund money because my credit card was stolen and the account closed. System won’t allow them to refund to new credit card number or bank account in my name at same address. Scammers. ### 1/5 — Does not allow exchange of tickets *2025-12-10* The exchange ticket function does not work despite this being given as an option on the app. I have tried this numerous times on different phones. This seems to be a consistent complaint but has not been resolved. ### 1/5 — Should have checked other reviews *2025-11-28* Booked through the app for a local event- paid for ticket and booking fee, my booking was cancelled due to bad weather, they refunded me the ticket price but not the booking fee despite not being able to use the ticket for reasons beyond my control! I can’t see this company lasting very long as the other reviews don’t look great either! ### 1/5 — Doesn’t work *2025-09-17, version 3.1.53* App stuck on search page, unable to click anything to view tickets…will be using web instead ### 1/5 — Zero stars - awful! *2025-05-28* Constantly crashes. Especially when trying to access My Account. Set up alert for pre sale - didn’t work and wouldn’t let me access presale. Had to install this app to get a refund ( can’t do it from the web portal for some reason) … but then the app reports the ticket can’t be returned at this time, please try again later.
