## What is Tida?

Tida is a task app built on one idea: put things in buckets, and the list stops being a wall.

Capture whatever's on your mind into Inbox. Sort it into a bucket when you know where it belongs. Nest subtasks as deep as the job actually goes. Anything with a date shows up in Upcoming, in order, so you can see the week without hunting for it.

That's the whole app. No projects inside workspaces inside teams.

WHAT YOU GET FOR FREE

• Inbox, Upcoming and a bucket of your own
• Subtasks, nested as deep as you need
• Upcoming, month and week views
• Home screen widgets in three sizes
• Reminders at the time you set
• An app icon badge you can configure — choose what counts
• Six themes, light and dark, cream or grey
• Add tasks with Siri
• Export everything to a file, any time

WHAT PREMIUM ADDS

$2.99 a month, with 7 days free.

• Unlimited buckets — go beyond your Inbox and one free bucket
• Calendar sync — your Apple, Google and subscribed ICS calendars, shown beside your tasks in Upcoming
• Sync across devices — your buckets on your iPhones and iPads, kept in step through your own iCloud
• iCloud backups — save a moment you can come back to before a big change, and restore it later

YOUR TASKS ARE YOURS

There is no Tida account and no Tida server. We never see your tasks.

On the free plan everything stays on your device. With Premium it syncs through your own iCloud, held by Apple under your Apple ID — not by us. We have no way to read any of it.

No analytics. No advertising. No third-party tracking of any kind.

Calendar access is read-only and optional. Tida never creates, edits or deletes anything in your calendar, and calendar information is never sent anywhere.

SUBSCRIPTION DETAILS

Tida Premium is an auto-renewing monthly subscription at $2.99, after a 7-day free trial. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel in your Apple ID settings.

## Version history (last 4 releases)

### 1.3 — 2026-09-02

CALENDAR SYNC — PREMIUM
Your Apple, Google and subscribed ICS calendars now appear beside your tasks in Upcoming, and in the Upcoming widget. Read-only — Tida never changes anything in your calendar. Tick an event off to dismiss that occurrence; it stays dismissed on your other devices.

SYNC ACROSS DEVICES — PREMIUM
Your buckets and tasks now stay in step across your iPhones and iPads through your own iCloud. No account, no server of ours.

iCLOUD BACKUPS — PREMIUM
Save a moment you can come back to before a big change, and restore it later. Backups are taken when you press the button — nothing happens automatically.

A NEW LOOK
Hanken Grotesk throughout, a cream or grey base, and six themes in
light and dark. Bucket icons are now monoline glyphs rather than
emoji. Subtasks read as one list instead of a diagram.

UPCOMING
List, week and month views. Everything with a date in one place, with
your calendar events interleaved if you've turned that on.

SMALLER THINGS
• Widgets rebuilt for the new type and palette
• The Upcoming widget is free, and shows your dated tasks
• Ledger rows open the task rather than expanding in place
• An app icon badge you can configure
• Faster, quieter sync, and a status line that tells you the truth
when something hasn't reached iCloud yet

### 1.2 — 2026-08-11

Widgets — your buckets on the Home Screen

Add a widget for any bucket, in small, medium or large. Large widgets let you check tasks off without opening Tida. Rows follow the bucket's own order, so nothing gets rearranged behind your back.

Siri — add without looking

Say "Add to Tida," then speak your task, and it lands in Inbox. Say "What's coming up in Tida" to hear your next few dated tasks read back. Both also show up in the Shortcuts app.

Widgets and Siri are free. No subscription needed.

Upcoming on the Home Screen

Everything dated, across every bucket, in a single widget. Part of Tida Premium — the same as the Upcoming view in the app.

Fixes

— Dragging a subtask to the top of its group now works
— The undo message no longer covers a sheet's Done button
— A quicker opening animation
— Fonts ship inside the app now, so Tida looks the same with no connection

### 1.1 — 2026-07-22

Small things, done properly.

— Recurring tasks in Upcoming
Repeating tasks now show up on their future dates, and you can skip a single occurrence without touching the rest of the series.

— Rearrange your buckets
Press and hold the home screen to drag buckets into any order, or remove ones you no longer need.

— A calmer keyboard
Sheets and the add bar now move in step with the keyboard instead of jumping. Every sheet can also be pulled down to dismiss.

— Clearer badges
Bucket counts now show what's due in the next seven days, plus anything overdue.
