## What is Tide Prediction?

Gezeiten.app keeps upcoming high and low tides at your fingertips – clearly presented, quick to access and available directly on the map.

The app provides tide forecasts for numerous gauges in Germany as well as selected stations in Norway, Belgium, Spain, Denmark and the Netherlands. All information is obtained from public data sources maintained by the responsible authorities.

Wenn eine größere Schriftgröße in den Einstellungen gewählt wird, sind die Uhrzeiten der einzelnen Gezeiten nicht mehr erkennbar.

Habe die App, in der vor Version, über Jahre fast täglich genutzt.
War übersichtlich, sortierbare Favoriten.  Super! Dafür wären 5 Sterne angemessen.

Die neue Version jetzt, ist das Gegenteil, unübersichtlich, Favoriten nur nach Entfernung oder alphabetisch sortierbar.

Werde mir nun leider eine neue App suchen müssen.

Tolle App, ich nutze sie beruflich seit einigen Jahren. 
Nach dem aktuellen Update kann ich sie leider nicht mehr nutzen, denn die Uhrzeit des Hoch- oder Niedrigwassers wird leider vom Format verschluckt. Egal ob hoch oder quer. Wenn das behoben würde, hätte die App die vollen Punkte.

Das neueste Update funktioniert schon ganz gut, jedoch werden bei meinen Einstellungen zu dynamischer Textgröße vor allem aber zu „fetter Text“ die Zeiten regelmäßig abgeschnitten. Außerdem würde ich mich über eine nettere Grafik freuen und natürlich eine App für die Apple Watch, auf der man mit einem Blick den aktuellen Pegelstand und die Entwicklung ablaufen ist oder auf laufendes Wasser erkennen kann.

Neue Version der Gezeiten-App.   Vor dem großen Update war sie minimalistisch übersichlich und hatte alle wichtigen Häfen und Orte angezeigt.    Nun aber fehlen wichtige Hauptorte und es sind Nebenorte verzeichnet.   Immerhin aber werden genaue Daten (verglichhen mit BSH) angezeigt.  Interessant ist, dass selbst „Gezeiten-Daten“ aus der Ostsee (Insel Rönne) angezeigt werden. Kann ja nur Wasserstandsänderung durch Wind sein….   Letztendlich…., weniger ist mehr….  Und die Gezeitenuhr ist verschwunden…., schade….

Diese App macht alles, was man erwarten kann. Mehr aber auch nicht. Und das ist sehr angenehm. Ohne aufwendigen Schnickschnack und speicherintensive Gimmicks die eh kein Mensch braucht. Die Downloadzeiten für die aktualisierten Werte sind erfreulich gering.

Mit Gezeiten erhält der User ein schlankes, schlichtes und unaufdringliches Programm, das ihn mit den nötigen Daten versorgt.

The tide display has been expanded:
• For the K13A platform, the Euro platform and Goeree Lighthouse, you can choose between MSL and ALAT.
• German North Sea tide gauges support switching between tide gauge zero (PNP) and nautical chart zero (SKN) at suitable stations.
• Forecast times can be displayed either in the station’s local time or in UTC.
• The order of favourites is now reliably maintained even if individual stations temporarily do not provide forecast data.

Tide forecasts for Dutch coastal waters now support switching between NAP and ALAT at compatible stations.
The toggle is located right next to “Reference Level.” Daily headings and predicted tide heights change together. Your selection is saved for each station and works even offline.
The conversion is based on official station data from Rijkswaterstaat. Measured water levels and warning thresholds remain unchanged.
