### 3/5 — Fff

*2024-07-04, version 4.6*

Ssss

### 2/5 — Won’t show tables!!!

*2024-02-22, version 4.6*

Can’t figure out why the tide tables wont show ! Something went wrong with the app.

### 2/5 — Confusing

*2023-09-25*

Listing tides as high and low laid out in two columns is extremely confusing. A list of high low high low in order starting with the next tide is a simpler and much easier to understand method .

**Developer response:** Low tides are on the left, high tides are on the right. Makes it easier to focus on the tide you are most interested in. The next tide is always shown at the top in easy to read format. The two column table is most like what we are used to back in the days when you checked the tide table at your local bait and tackle store.

### 4/5 — Used to be good.

*2023-08-21*

Not sure what happened to this app but it no longer properly function after they updated the graphics. Used to be great.

**Developer response:** Thanks for the feedback. Which features are not functioning as you expect? Can you identify something so we can look into it?

### 3/5 — Tides new update

*2023-07-28, version 4.4*

This update changes the feet to meters, I think it is off. For me 1.78 meters is 3 ft and Hawaii doesn’t have that big of a change

### 2/5 — Slow

*2023-07-22*

Doesn’t load very quickly. Often have to try to open app twice to get it to work

### 2/5 — A fan until they changed the format

*2023-06-24*

The date and tide heights are now in such a small, faint font that they’re almost impossible for my ageing eyes to see. Also it automatically defaults to the nearest location, so I have to manually change to the location I want every time I open the app. In the previous version I could set the default location.

**Developer response:** Thank you for the comments. Use the 'Tide Stations' tab to access your favorites (saved stations), recent, and nearby. The 'Nearest' tab always shows the nearest location. Font sizes match your choices in the iPhone 'Settings'.

### 2/5 — Bring back the old version!

*2023-05-15*

I used to use this app all the time as I like the layout, and could see many days ahead of time with the tide and size of the tide was.

I do not like this update, the font is way too large and confusing

**Developer response:** Tap on ‘settings’ and you can set the 'Display Range’ to 5 days, 7 days, 14 days, 21 days, or 1 month to set the amount of tide data displayed. Since both Low and High now appear on a single line, this new version displays twice as much data on your device as the previous version. On most devices, a full 5 days of tides are shown without scrolling, including tide heights. Of course, you can also scroll through the next 30 days if desired.

### 2/5 — You’re messed up a good thing

*2023-05-12, version 4.1*

This was my favorite Tides app. I would recommend it to everyone but now with the new update, it’s terrible.

### 2/5 — Updated app not as good as old one!

*2023-05-06, version 4.1*

Bring back the old!

### 2/5 — Redesign is awful

*2023-04-30*

I used to give this app 5 stars, but this week’s redesign makes it nearly unusable. Type is suddenly so large the time of day requires 2 lines; so much harder to check the tides for the coming week, or for frequently used locations. Please, app developers, return to the former design for the optimal user experience!

**Developer response:** Thank you for the comments. Tide Table displays text sizes using the selected value in iPhone settings. The latest release (4.1) addresses situations where the text size in phone settings has been increased. Tap ‘Tide Stations’ to view and store favorite locations, and to view recent or nearby locations.

### 3/5 — Offset not working

*2023-01-07*

Need to fix offset feature. I’m miles away from the nearest station. If the offset feature worked, I could dial it in.

**Developer response:** Thank you for the comments. We are aware that providing a time offset can be quite useful and regret this feature is no longer working. Currently, we are finishing up a significant refresh of the application for the next version (4.0). Following this deployment, attention will be turned to restore the tide station offset feature.

### 4/5 — Missing tide gage

*2021-11-23*

Euhaw creek 2.5 miles above entrance is no longer available on this application but is still available on other tide apps.

**Developer response:** This Tide Station has been restored in the latest version.

South Carolina|TEC3327|Euhaw Creek, 2.5 mi. above entrance|32.435|-80.851666666667

### 3/5 — Please fix the time offset

*2020-10-17*

This is the ONLY app I could find that has a time offset feature.....but it’s not working anymore. Many stations due to currents can actually be off and it was nice to see all the tides with the offset correction. It is not functioning now and freezes the app without the offset affecting the times. I’d rate it 5 stars if you can fix the time offset feature.

**Developer response:** Thank you for the comments. We are aware that providing a time offset can be quite useful and are happy to report the time offer feature is back! In the app, choose the settings tab and turn on 'Enable Time Offsets'. Navigate to the Tide Stations tab and set an offset on any of your favorite locations.

### 1/5 — Larry

*2025-10-05, version 5.3*

Go back to your original time chart with the chart that you can read in five seconds

### 1/5 — New version

*2023-11-12*

My phone just upgraded and so did your app The new format is terrible. Big letters for the time but can’t read anything else. Can’t see feet hi or low. The old format was easy to read etc. now I am looking for a new app that I can read. You get 1 star and that’s being generous

The size of the print in feet, day, and date is in too small of font to read otherwise it is fine

**Developer response:** See store screenshots. Tide Table displays low and high tide data for favorite stations, recent stations, and nearby stations in two-column format with low tides on the left and high tides on the right. This allows you to quickly locate the tide times you are looking for.

### 1/5 — Used to be great

*2023-10-01, version 4.5*

They’ve changed the app, and it is much less useful. Used to be, it showed the nearest station, then your favorites. No more.

### 1/5 — Changes

*2023-08-06, version 4.4*

Sometimes change is good, this app format change is not. Difficult to read, Connor find the tide graph, if it even exist anymore. Look for a new tide app.

### 1/5 — Update is worse

*2023-05-11, version 4.1*

Like to see all tides of the day… this was removed in an update. When I need to see the earlier tides of the day this feature was very useful.

### 1/5 — Update????

*2023-05-01, version 4.0*

I don’t know what you did but I didn’t not update my phone and your app wiped out all my saved tide stations and won’t reload. I’ll be deleting app and using another app.

### 1/5 — New format

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Owner

*2025-09-18, version 5.3*

Great app

### 5/5 — Broken now, thanks to DOGE

*2025-04-17*

One of the very first apps I downloaded back in the day. Now tide tables are apparently woke so the data sets are no longer available.

### 5/5 — Mr. George Dunlap

*2023-08-05, version 4.4*

Great!

### 5/5 — Great Community Service!

*2023-07-26*

One con: Depths are only in meters or fractions of meters.
Pros: Easy to read, accurate. Great for planning and safe navigation. I recommend this app to all boaters.
Wishlist: Add feet to the settings. Thank you!

**Developer response:** Thank you for pointing out our mistake! Tide height are, in fact, presented in Feet. We recently added a UK version of the Tide Table app, with much of the code shared, which resulted in the units display error. This will be corrected in the next release.

### 5/5 — Enemy of good is better

*2023-04-30*

I just opened the “ Tide app” and realized its format has been changed.. And not in a good way.. The Font is absurdly, unnecessarily large. The time is incomplete .. What does 8:3 mean. Geez.. .. the old format allowed 2-3 tide tables accessible simply by scrolling down the page. It seems to me that this as well as other apps change just for the sake of change.. more often than not its “ new format “ is more difficult and less useful. That is the case here.. guess I’ll shop around. G-day..

**Developer response:** Thank you for the comments. We are working to improve the table display in situations where the text size has been increased. You can access all of your favorite tables using the Tide Stations tab, which also includes “recent” and “nearby” tide stations as well as your chosen favorites. We should have a new version with improvements in large-text scenarios within the week.

### 5/5 — Great Community Service!

*2023-02-05, version 3.12*

Easy to read, accurate. Tides is a community service app. Great for planning and safe navigation. I recommend this app to all boaters.

### 5/5 — Accurate and easy to use

*2020-10-14*

I use this app to determine when it is low tide so I can walk or run along the beach without getting soaked or having to climb over rocks in Ventura or Santa Barbara.

### 5/5 — Very convenient way to check the tides at my precise location.

*2020-08-05*

I like being able to get the Tides for my exact location, not some location that’s a half an hour off from mine.

### 5/5 — Buddy Campbell

*2019-07-05*

Please remove the superfluous 0 in front of the times. Or please use the twenty four hour clock. The combination of the two time systems is confusing and plain wrong.

### 5/5 — Good table

*2018-10-12*

Great basic tide table. Like how it greys past tides and emphasizes the current one. Very accurate.
