This was crucial for me to get my boat into our slip due to low tide. Now it is not available. Also you can no longer see a chart for a future date???? Why? Why did these simple stand out features end?? Please bring them back. ### 2/5 — Still Lost at Sea *2017-05-27, version 5.1* I wrote a one star review three years ago about what was once my favorite boating app. I see that they brought back some functionality that they then delete. Thank you. You gained a star. However, the current version is still riddled with bugs (or is that crabs?). The main one is a blank colored screen or lock up when working working with favorites. The app needs to be forced quit to get it to work again. The tide waveform still does not allow the user to scroll the waveform to see the time at that point in the tide (I.e. mid tide), which was in an earlier version. A tide time offset would be a nice feature so I can get high and low dead on for each of my favorite locations. Keep programming. ### 2/5 — Good app; bad update *2017-05-23, version 5.1* App used to be useful and easy to use. The daily tide chart was good. But now: Full screen ad on opening fully blocking tide info. At worst, ad can't be closed without downloading something unrelated (like a casino app). Unacceptable. At best, ad has to be closed to see app. Behavior depends on ad that shows up. Now: once very useful tide graph has been modified to be less useful. Now: cannot drag line on tide graph to see tide height at a particular time. ### 1/5 — Old version was easier to use *2017-05-14, version 5.1* New version doesn't list things in order of when they occur, and doesn't tell the next high or low tide. Having info only on a current tide and high and low is not sufficient for planning purposes. Now we have an interface by someone who never needs tide information. We have no way of seeing data for any day other than the current day. There is a calendar. I don't know what it's supposed to do. Changing a date does nothing to show data for any date other than current. That's great. Here I am needing to see tide data at a particularly dicey area 2 days from now. Nope, all I get is the current day. So for those of you that are inclined to pay to get rid of an egregious number of ads, the apps not worth it. ### 3/5 — User *2014-04-21, version 4.1.2* Update I thought the previous app was great I wish all the features it had be brought into this "improved" one, especially the chart over 36 or more hours with the x for the present time I went and found an app similar to the previous one to this. Very happy to have found a more practical one. And discarded this one ! ### 3/5 — Was great *2013-12-07, version 3.3* This has more places to get a tide from than any other app I've seen. Has worked great but some minor problems with pulling up certain dates. I use this app year round for fishing and hunting. It hasn't been updated since 2010 which is where the problem lies. If it was updated this app would be the best tide app hands down! Not sure why it hasn't been updated but I'm hoping it does soon because I can't find another app like it. ### 3/5 — Good app, good features. Some bugs *2013-06-24, version 3.3* I like this app. I can easily find the tides at my local areas where I boat and being able to check on a particular day in the future is a great feature! However, there is a small annoyance in that the tide side that comes up at launch always crashes the program when I try to select "chart". If I re select this site from my favorite list there is no problem. Odd. Otherwise, extremely usefull! ### 2/5 — It stopped working *2012-12-22, version 3.3* I originally loved it. Told others to get it. Ive got an iPhone 4 About a month ago the graph part of the application quit, immediately closing the app. Today, when I need it, a banner survey came up about phones. I finally gave up and did the survey. Now I've got a white banner and a black screen. I use this app to figure out where I can park my car because our parking lot floods above a 6' tide. With wind and rain, it's decision making time. I'll probably delete it. I'm really bummed out, because it was so useful before. The ads are killing it. ### 4/5 — Good free app *2012-05-02, version 3.3* I tried two other free apps both with problems. So far this one is good. I can change the date to plan future trips and make favorite stations. It also includes moon and sun rise and set times. I would like to see future versions include an option to offset the time for a specific location. And add a moonphase percentage to the moon rise. ### 4/5 — Minus Tides *2010-06-03, version 0* I've been using this app almost a year and it works well since the update. I have one feature request though. I razor clam on minus tides. It would be cool, in the chart mode, if there was a black (or red) line across the entire chart at the 0 ft mark so a minus tide can be recognized no matter what part of the chart you're on. As it is now I must scroll all the way to the left margin. This would make the app much more useful. The current format is difficult to decipher, no longer allows you to easily see future forecasts and when it opens there are adds the fill the entire screen. I used to be able to scroll to see what the tide would be when I wanted to take my boat out. For some reason I can't even fathom, they deleted this very useful functionality. Now you can not slide the line to find out what the tide is at any given time. Need to be able to find out when you can get the boat out. Could have been end of "30 day" vs "31 day" month temporary glitch. That said, we have used this app throughout widespread travels and lots of boating and fishing, in and out of US. Have found it very useful and pretty accurate. Nevertheless, not upgrading to ios6 until I see better reviews on how it works with this and other apps. ### 5/5 — lovin' it *2010-05-29, version 0* Yes, the previous version of this software had a couple bugs. But, since the update, I LOVE THIS APP. Its one of the only apps that is capable of giving me tide info of some of the freshwater estuaries and tide affected rivers in my area. And it does it for free! This is one of the first apps I suggest to friends that spend time on the water. ### 5/5 — This app rocks!! *2009-11-08, version 0* I depend on this app everyday. I am a tournament fisherman and need to know when to get off a flat. Ten minutes can make the difference between winning a tournament and sitting on dry land waiting for the tide to come in. We live on the water and so far this is pretty accurate. My husband had another app on his phone, which is not as accurate and no charts. He saw mine and then went and downloaded this one and deleted the old one. It has never crashed for me and seems totally accurate. Excellent product! I've got five captains who depend on it. And I've lost braggin' rights on the beach with all my fellow surf fishermen. Sooner would be better. I'm still giving you five stars because it is a great program. The app works great. What I don't understand is the people who give the app a bad review becuase it doesn't work on their device. Have you ever stopped to think it may be your device and what's worse is that it's free? Just delete it and move on with your technically challenged self... I live in Miami Beach, and high tides can sometimes mean flooded streets; especially combined with heavy rain!
