## What is TideHelm?

TideHelm is a tide, current, solunar, fishing, photography, and boating-safety planner for captains, anglers, cruisers, divers, kayakers, and coastal photographers.

It puts tide timing, current direction, sun and moon details, safety windows, fishing logs, buoy references, and trip planning into one focused cockpit.

Core tools:
- Seven-day tide chart for bundled NOAA station references
- Today view for next high, next low, slack water, sun, and moon
- Current vector chart with flood and ebb timing
- Solunar fishing-window indicators
- Surf, wind, and tide timing references
- Draft, air-draft, bridge, bar, and safe-window planners

TideHelm helps customers plan safer timing around tide, light, current, and local conditions. Always verify critical navigation decisions with official charts, notices, weather, and local knowledge.

Station favorites, trip plans, and fishing logs stay on the device. Location access is used only to suggest nearby tide stations when you allow it.

• Best Fishing Windows: a 5-day ranked outlook fusing solunar, tide movement, and barometric trend.
• Barometer Log with a least-squares trend that feeds the bite ranking.
• Tide & slack alarms via on-device notifications.
• Beaufort scale reference and a USCG-style Float Plan PDF you can share before a trip.

All tide and astronomy math is computed on-device. No account, no network — everything stays on your device.
