## What is TideReady?

TideReady answers one question: should I go to the coast?

No tide charts. No guesswork. Open the app and get a clear, instant recommendation for your activity - whether that's a beach day with the kids, a surf session, kitesurfing, fishing, or a coastal walk.

DECISIONS, NOT DATA
Other tide apps show you numbers and charts. TideReady tells you what to do: "Tide going out. Beach is growing. Safe until 2:30pm." or "Offshore wind, 1.2m groundswell at 11s. Get out there."

Five activity modes, one answer: Beach, Surf, Kite, Fish, and Walk. Each mode weighs tide, wind, swell, and safety factors differently, then gives you a simple Good, Fair, or Poor rating with a plain-English explanation.

5 ACTIVITY MODES
- Beach: Is the beach growing or shrinking? How long do I have?
- Surf: Is it worth the drive? Swell, wind direction, and tide combined.
- Kite: Wind and tide together. Offshore wind warnings for safety.
- Fish: When's the prime fishing window? 2 hours before and after high tide.
- Walk: Is the coastal path passable? When must I turn back?

SAFETY FIRST
Walk mode shows a safety countdown: "Be off tidal paths by 12:30." Every screen shows when conditions change. Safety warnings are never behind a paywall.

- Over 5,000 tide stations. We replaced our UK list with the complete UKHO Admiralty catalogue (600+ UK stations) and added the full US (NOAA) and Canadian (CHS) catalogues, with expanded Ireland and New Zealand coverage. Your spot is far more likely to be covered now.
- Search any beach by name - not just the nearest station.
- Instant tide chart. Locations load faster, with the chart showing immediately while conditions fill in behind it.
- More reliable. Fixed a UK tide bug that could hide the chart, sharpened Apple Watch tap-to-refresh, and made notifications smarter.
