I throw the pole in but nothing happens. I don’t want to give it a bad review bc maybe I’m not doing something correctly. And there’s no help screen that I can find. ### 2/5 — Fun for the first hour *2026-08-04, version 1.3.9* Fun until you’ve pretty much figured the game out and then it quickly becomes boring. The fishing assistant is either bugged or lying, you only make about 1/4 of what it says you do so once you get to a certain level it doesn’t even make sense to keep investing in them. Devs don’t address bug reports in their discord that they advertise in game. The in game cosmetic store refreshes daily with what appears to be the same stuff, not much variety at all. Yawn. Sad I wasted as much time as I did on this game ### 4/5 — Enjoyable Chill Game *2026-07-09, version 1.3.9* I was really enjoying this game. It was a great start to an excellent concept. It’s a shame they didn’t keep developing it further. It could’ve been what Creatures of the Deep is becoming. CotD was clearly inspired by this game and has developed the concept into a great relaxing adventure game. This game could’ve been there years ago if they hadn’t given up on it. Now this game has been neglected and won’t even run properly on newer systems. It crashes regularly on iOS devices. It’s a shame. Quickly unlock all islands so the voyage mode is the one that keeps you coming back. Only annoying things are the lack of instruction on how to catch deep sea treasures (been playing for two months and still no idea) and the fact you don’t seem to get any of the larger boats. I’m guessing you have to pay to unlock more chests and get them that way. The challenges that come up, such as “catch three great whites” You can repeatedly go to the correct location and never see the target species. And on the voyage mode you get clues to chests that either say “north” or “the treasure is at least 2000 metres away. I’ve headed north after finding a “north” clue and found nothing, and “over 2000 metres away isn’t much of a clue, especially as you can’t see the distance you’re travelling, and with no clue which direction to go.
