## What is tides?

A private cycle tracker designed for understanding the menstrual cycle — yours, or someone you care about. Multi-profile from day one, with predictions, mood logging, and a fertile-window view that uses the medically-accurate luteal-phase-fixed model.

TRACK WHO MATTERS
Add profiles for yourself, a partner, family members, or anyone whose cycle you'd like to follow. Each profile keeps its own history, preferences, and predictions.

CHOOSE YOUR TONE
The default content is supportive and clinically informative — clear explanations of phases, hormones, and what to expect. An optional spicier mode swaps in a more colourful, comedic tone for those who prefer it. Switch between the two any time.

BUILT FOR REAL CYCLE LENGTHS
Most trackers hardcode ovulation to day 14, which is wrong for almost everyone. Tides anchors ovulation to 14 days before the next period — the medically-standard approach — so predictions stay accurate whether your cycle is 21 days or 35. Period duration and PMS duration are independently configurable.

PHASE-AWARE DESIGN
- Period, follicular, ovulation, luteal, and PMS phases on a colour-coded calendar
- Separate fertile-window overlay (5 days before ovulation through the ovulation window itself)
- Daily mood, flow, and symptom logging with searchable history
