There is a gap between what a venue charges for a Saturday night and what that same hour is worth on a Wednesday afternoon. Tides lives in that gap. Venues put up discounts for the hours they would rather not sell empty, and you get a cheaper day out for turning up when it suits them. Bowling, mini golf, escape rooms, go-karting, climbing, pickleball, board game cafes and a few things you probably haven't heard of. Right now there are almost more than 250 venues on the map across Melbourne and Sydney. HOW A DEAL WORKS Find a discount you like and claim it. You get a code and a QR on your phone, plus an email copy. Turn up at the venue during the hours the deal runs and show it at the counter. That's it. It's walk-in, not a booking. We tell the venue roughly when you're planning to arrive so they can expect you, but if the place is full when you get there, it's full. Deals run in set windows, usually the quieter parts of the week. FINDING SOMETHING TO DO Browse the map to see what's near you. Search if you already know what you want. Or open Pick For Me, answer a few questions about who you're with and what you feel like, and swipe through until something clicks. Save the places you like for later. Rate the ones you've been to, so the next person gets a straight answer about whether it's worth it. Some venues also list standing in-store offers - things they run all the time that don't need a coupon. Those are marked separately so you know the difference. THE HONEST BITS Melbourne and Sydney only, for now. Free. No subscription, no booking fees, no markup. Venues set their own discounts and you pay them directly, at the venue, at their price. You can browse everything without an account. You'll need one to claim a deal, save places, or leave a rating. Deals come and go depending on what venues are running. Some weeks there's more on than others. ## Is Tides Deals safe? Not enough ratings yet to assess Tides Deals. ## Is Tides Deals legit? Tides Deals has limited verification signals. When Sydney launches, switch cities from the top of the app and see deals near you. • Your saved spots and offers stay organised by city. • Tap any spot on the map and it now lights up, so you always know which venue you picked. • Smoother loading, with clearer messages if something doesn't load. • Plenty of small fixes and polish throughout. ### 1.1.1 — 2026-09-14 Fixed a problem that stopped coupon details from scrolling, which made some coupons impossible to claim. The discounts on Home now vary each time you open the app, and the Home screen header is tidier. ### 1.1.0 — 2026-09-10 New app icon. Home now shows every venue, instead of stopping at the first 20. ### 1.0.0 — 2026-09-09 No release notes. ## Apps similar to Tides Deals | App | Rating | Price | Category | | --- | --- | --- | --- | | [Spark - Better Together](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/spark-better-together/id6738105801) | — | Free | Lifestyle | | [My Home: Resident App](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/my-home-resident-app/id1588325023) | 4.2 (5) | Free | Lifestyle | | [Anywhere Auctions](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/anywhere-auctions/id1364806419) | — | Free | Lifestyle | | [BamChi](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/bamchi/id6766850463) | — | Free | Lifestyle | | [Ocycle](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/ocycle/id6475138998) | — | Free | Lifestyle | | [Pegs](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/pegs/id1606690018) | 5.0 (2) | Free | Lifestyle | --- *Data collected daily from the US App Store and indexed by [AppsHunter](https://appshunter.io/).
