A week seems like it'd be minimum for busy people not to skip giving it a try for this reason. The three stars is because I had to force quit it when I wanted to back out. Good luck multiple and repeating timers is definitly a needed niche. When/if you change these two things I'll definitely give it a go. Also a timer isn't something I expect to need to have a subscription for. So I expect unless it's wonderful or with a clear growth path I likely wouldn't keep it long and just create my own. **Developer response:** Good points, thanks! I do have quite a list of features for future updates, including a complete redesign, new Apple Watch App, Apple TV app, my own syncing backend (+ maybe a web interface), new widgets, Spotlight Integration and more. 'No timer' is always displayed. ### 4/5 — Good but ... *2020-01-23, version 4.3.1* It is good to show days for countdown, but it would be much better to have the option of calendar date to chose the finish date, so I don’t need to calculate the day. ### 2/5 — iPhone good enough. No watch *2019-10-25* Tha app works well enough in my iPhone. Setup is logical and intuitive though swipe action is a bit over sensitive. It doesn’t show up on my watch, however. That’s the main reason I pay for a timer, and I can’t use it because it doesn’t even show in the Watch app. I’m using WatchOS 5.3.2 on a second gen Apple Watch, and can’t find anything saying that’s a problem. **Developer response:** The watch app requires watchOS 6.0. ### 4/5 — "Timer has finished" notifications on Apple Watch *2019-10-01* Apple Watch recommended this app on its new App Store in WatchOS6. However, if I set a 1 hour timer, and pause it 45 minutes through, 15 minutes later when the timer would have ended, I am still notified that the paused timer "has finished." When I open the app, it's still paused like it should be. Please fix this and this app will deserve 5 stars. The capability to have more simultaneous timers than you'll ever need for free is a huge plus to this app. **Developer response:** Thanks for pointing this issue out! (Also it’s not a subscription, it’s a one time purchase). ### 1/5 — Regrets - should have never bought *2019-02-09* Lukas, I am trying to use your App on my iPad Pro, iPhone X and my Apple Watch but there is so many bugs, I don’t understand that this app has been approved by Apple. First of all, I could not find how to start the timer on the iPad and my iPhone. This is my first negative review on the App Store. Sorry but you deserve it. **Developer response:** To start a timer tap the arrow on the right besides a timer (or swipe to the left) to show the possible actions, then tap the restart button. I’m not aware of any bugs currently in the app, but if you did find one, please let me know at support@cocoacake.net so I can fix it. ### 1/5 — Just doesn’t work *2018-01-26* I got the free version of this app and it was a nightmare. It was unreliable which was especially bad since I had to use it for competitions. There was an annoying pop up ad that blocked my timers and that I couldn’t get rid of. The app also deleted one of my timers for no apparent reason, and glitches made it almost unusable. I would recommend users looking for a timer without serious issues should try something else. **Developer response:** I'm sorry to hear that. With the update, it now works perfectly on my iPad and iPhone, but not on my Series 3 watch. (Be sure to swipe right for sounds. I found out by accident.) If there was a sound when the pause was completed and the next timer starts, it would be perfect. I paid for the full version, which I intended to use during my exercise routine. Then I paid ADDITIONAL for the extra sounds. HA! Still no sounds. How can I do my routine if I have to constantly watch my iPad????????? **Developer response:** The additional sounds are included in the full version, if you've paid twice, please ask Apple for a refund. Repeating countdowns won't work. Instead of notification just give a haptic feedback. ### 1/5 — Buggy timers. And sounds don’t always play *2019-10-18* You can only run a repeating timer once. After it runs for the set number of times, no matter how you try to restart or play it, it doesn’t work. AND the alarm sounds don’t always play if your phone is on silent mode. Like if the app is in the background they usually don’t play. Fix the bugs and this gets 5 stars. But it’s basically unusable at the moment. **Developer response:** Third party apps are not allowed to override the silent mode with notifications, unfortunately. I do try to play the sound as music to work around this, but this is only possible while the app is open. Start a timer on the phone and finish it on the Mac. This is the best.
