NO!!! Maybe if Tidy made it clear that customers were also vetted, but I have no idea if that’s the case. They really expect you to drive halfway across the state and clean for 2.5hr in a stranger’s house for less than $60???? At least I’d have a better chance of not being serial killed working for minimum wage at a company. Christ. To Tidy: if customers *are* vetted in any similar capacity to cleaners, please make that clear. Show photos of the house—if I have to upload equipment photos, they should have to upload house photos. Show a picture of the customer so I can make sure it’s actually them when I show up. Giving me basically zero info is a recipe for disaster. Back to Facebook groups and word-of-mouth for me, I guess. ### 2/5 — Tidy *2024-03-10* Just six months ago this application was much better and more convenient. Now it forces prices to be reduced, otherwise they simply won’t give you a job, and at the last moment you may get a job that you didn’t expect. The application charges you 20-30 dollars for refusing work for any reason. ### 1/5 — Not good *2023-10-06* Working for this company is not good. They will send you jobs that you didn't accept. The app won't show you jobs in your area too aloud you too accept or not accept. They'll sends you several jobs without your knowledge so they can charge you for not going and when you do any jobs they'll take the payments from you leaving you with nothing. This is a scam of a company. You as a cleaner have no control over accepting or not accepting jobs This app is for people that's looking for something for nothing. The people that use this app are people that can't afford good cleaners that'll do a professional jobs. You go cheap, you will repeat. ### 1/5 — Bad choice! They have a lot of problems with basically services!! *2023-10-01* They change schedule without notification, the have a horrible customer service and work service! I work for they some months but I choice stop because they provide a BAD service and charge when THEY change your schedule! For example, I had a scheduled 4hrs 11AM-3PM they just changed my schedule to another place that is like 1 hour from my home basically 2 hours driving to pay $40 a schedule to 1 hour, they don’t notify nothing and charge the cancellation! I didn’t grab this job, they do it frequently!! ### 3/5 — The app never comes to the cleaner's defense *2023-08-20* I cleaned the apartment and did everything that I was asked. After that, the client wrote to support that I did not remove anything and did nothing, she demanded to return her money. The application did not ask for any proof from the client, but simply took the money I earned from me, that is, I cleaned this woman's apartment for free! It's horrible ! ### 1/5 — I would give this negative stars if I could *2023-05-19, version 1.23.1* This is my recent experience with tidy 5/20/23 I worked this app and my partner has as well. They stupidity of the way they handle everything is mind blowing. You would think that this app would be managed better. You take a unreal amount of money from everyone. Use it to improve the quality of the experience that you provide. I have been a cleaner and have owned a cleaning business in the past 5 years. I have never been so disrespected by clients in my life! People don’t know how to clean period! I don’t care what you say with out experience or a person that is naturally tidy and clean. YOU don’t know how to clean. The clients not all because I have found wonderful clients on the app that quickly stop using the app. 95 percent of those clients are scammers and idiots! Please come clean my incredibly dirty house for half of what I paid for 2.5 hours. Which trust I have encountered very dirty homes! And I don’t judge. What I do judge is the fact you think I can do what you want in the 2.5 hours you expect. Then get mad because I don’t move fast enough? That isn’t how you run a business so this also falls on tidy. Setting expectations that are unrealistic is irresponsible. Not only for the company but anyone involved. Naturally as a business owner I meet my client and provide and estimate with a walk through. Getting to know the client and the way they live their lives. Then I tailor a cleaning schedule for them and keep there house clean. Of course not at the sad pay tidy gives. I charge the amount tidy would charge a person. Or even a bit extra for better quality work. Take this company down lol. I asked them to help deactivate my account & won’t do it. This app is a scam. It seemed like a good opportunity but now I’m stuck having to make sure I call out before they fee me for a job I never agreed to do. They won’t reply to me & I want my account deactivated, keep the money, I really don’t trust this app. Please listen to the reviews, I can only pause the account. I’m leaving the money there. I literally worked for free. Do yourself a favor & don’t rely on this sad company. I work with this company for 6 months because I reallly enjoy working for myself. Within my first few week i started noticing what others on this app were metioning. They still money from a customer who majority of the time is lying just to get free labor. They charge you just to get them to respond to a dispute. They do not fix the fact that they have racist customers towards the black and brown community. They play games like your joking until they see you remove your schedule completely thats is when they want to act like they care. TIDY DOES NOT CARE ABOUT ITS WORKER BUT THE PROFIT. If your a good cleaner dont waist your hardwork and money on this. When its a serious issue occur they do not respond or send automates messages as if thwy are highly concern. I have screenshot of everything for the past 6 months on how i was treated by the custoners and the app workers. And they don’t care. They will offer me a job for $105 and then I accept it, they only pay me $80. That has happened several times. I send pictures proving it and they do nothing. Don’t even bother to reply. And I am forced to clean with people I don’t know. One of them ruined some wooden furniture with Tory cleaner and I got blamed and docked for half of the work I did. And when I try to talk to them about it, they don’t respond. And they are making a lot lot lot of money off of me and offer no help, and just keep taking my money. Also, you are not allowed to see the job details till you are at the house. So you don’t have any idea what is expected of you, so you can’t prepare. Whoever designed this app is not a cleaner, and is just trying to make money off of others. The job I got inappropriately docked for I made $40 for 4 hour of work. That is $7.22 less than the minimum wage in California. That’s illegal!!! But good luck getting anyone at the company to listen. And there is no way to lodge a complaint about this either. It’s the “concierge,” who have been extremely uncooperative and have shown me zero respect. When they are making more than double what they give me!! Awful company, awful app. ### 1/5 — Fees on their cheap app *2025-01-02* I signed up thinking that the extreme measures to get access to the app was proving it was a superior company, but the app is so hokey like a template and can not be adjusted to your specific needs, where they assign you clients that you don’t know what they need done where they live exactly, any information and the app expects you to wait until whenever it becomes available the day of to prepare, then you still have to wait until you can touch a button to say you’re on the way to figure out what it’s going to be. How do you expect me to take your clients if I don’t know what I’m doing? I racked up fees by just BEING on the app and getting assigned with no information and out of my driving range. As a Latino I don’t recommend this app under any circumstances ### 1/5 — Paid $30 *2024-06-13* This is the second time that I have cleared my schedule and showed up to a job to clean only for the customer to cancel five minutes before the job starts. Tidy says I was on standby, however there is no such thing or any indication on the app. After buying cleaning supplies driving and not working my other job I have lost money. There is no regulations to protect cleaners. People book then cancel all the time, and the cleaners lose. Tidy has just found themselves a direct competitor. They will give the customer credit and not pay you. No gas, nothing! So don’t waste your time, money, effort, supplies ! I am literally trying to cancel more then 24 hours they want to charge me $10!! ### 1/5 — Terrible app *2024-02-05* This app won’t be around long as they are stealing money from people a.k.a. embezzlement. They allow people to cancel all the time after booking and you getting ready for a job with no fees. Or they book you last minute and charge you $20 if you can’t make it. If a customer over books a job and the job is done early you will lose 50% of your pay. This is illegal and they will be getting sued I’m sure. ### 1/5 — Worst app for cleaning pros do not sign up!! *2023-12-01* This is the worst app and business I’ve signed up honestly - it seems like they set you up for definite failure - they don’t explain clearly since the beginning on all the fees they charge the pros or how the app works .. as a first time cleaner I put my availability but didn’t expect to be charged a ridiculous fee for not being able to take the job that your automatically booked for (I only cancelled because I got sick those days ) you can’t view the size home or tasks you’re expected to do until about an hour before the booking starts and on top of that the app starts glitching when you’re suppose to clock in or out and you have to go thru the hassle of deleting and re- downloading … when you submit a message they’re responses are very generic and you can’t get ahold of a real person it seems because they only reply thru email and then the emails are a no-reply email so you can’t go further into detail and never find a solution - I never got paid for the cleaning that I did for 2.5 hrs - it’s a scam do not sign up you will regret it never using again hopefully everyone that reads this knows not to sign up with them you’re better off signing up with any other cleaning app ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — THE BEST APP FOR CLEANING *2025-03-21, version 1.37.1* Fantastic, easy to use, complete for professionals who use it and satisfied customers, as it governs safety and protection margins, providing follow-up with constant certifications. ### 5/5 — Havana Sparkle Cleaning AZ *2025-01-28, version 1.36.1* We are proudly veteran and women owned! So now I’m spilling the Tea 1 .Overprice for costumers and less pay for cleaner 2. Customer pays 200$ for a 4 hour cleaning and you get payed 90$ . 3 . 1 hour cleaning you’ll pay you 30$ for you to drive far and clean a house 4 . They threaten you 500$- just because if you try steal there clients like go off there app lol but you don’t gotta tell them. 5 . You loose 150$ if you get unreliable and mostly likely fired but they won’t tell you that they’ll say something else but at the end they won’t reply 6 . With TIDY Customers have the right to complain if you don’t stay the whole 4 hours if they want to and you’ll get half of that 90$ pay if you left 10 minutes early or 5 don’t matter you’ll get Half of that 90$ for the time you where there . 7 . If Costomer complain in any way you’ll mostly likely loose the fight unless you where there for the whole 4 hours then your fine , but other cases you’ll loose and they’ll charge you and addition 40$ for dealing with you , 8 . Just started using the app and cleanings caught on faster then attended; however, they do pick and choose when they want to deal with issues. The app has many glitches and whenever I try to change my bookable hours, it glitches. I ended up getting a cleaning when I wanted to cancel and was charged $20 to cancel! Every time you cancel it charges you so be sure of your hours. They also only respond through email, which is a hassle if you have a quick need. It doesn’t tell you any information about the cleaning until you get there. I recently had an issue where a cleaner did no show up and they booked for two of us to come. Out of politeness and need for the client I stayed for a 2.5 hour clean instead of one. They were able to compensate me for it; however, I just had a client ask for me to stay until everything was cleaned which only was an extra 45 minutes for a booked one hour clean. They claimed that they weren’t able to change it even though they just did. Now no response from the client.
