## What is TierBreak?

TierBreak builds your junior tennis player's year in one place: matches point by point, training, the mental work, tournaments, and what the coach sees.

START WITH THE SCORE
Enter a finished match in about twenty seconds, or track it live, point by point. Paste a USTA results page or photograph a draw sheet, and check each match before it is added.

TRACK IT THE WAY IT IS PLAYED
Eight scoring presets, from USTA Junior no-ad to an 8-game pro set. Singles and doubles, the serve rotation handled for you. Two taps a point gives you the analytics; add detail as you like. Undo, correct the score or fix the format mid-match. Works with no signal.

SEE WHAT DECIDED IT
Break points, first serve in play, the return matrix, a momentum chart that marks aces and double faults, and serve placement, rally length, spin and winners against errors when you track them. You choose what to track, for you and your coach.

TRAIN THE MENTAL GAME LIKE A SKILL
A self-assessment places your athlete in one of five phases of a 28-step pathway: pre-match routine, between-point routine, changeover reset, cue words. Focus games, scored against your own best and never another child's. The Proof shows how pressure points went before the pathway and since.

FOR THE ATHLETE ON MATCH DAY
A heads-up the evening before. Guided audio for the night before, the car ride, pre-match calm or activation, and between matches, saved to play with no signal. Match Day prep: three things to keep in mind, from their own notes, the coach and a parent; the pre-match routine they built; their match plan, go-to patterns and cue words; and opponent scouting with Advanced.

WIN THE DAY
Log a training session in seconds. One real thing done turns the day green, the week counts toward your days-a-week goal, and a planned rest day never breaks the streak.

PLAN THE SEASON
Add each tournament to your calendar: its name, first and last day, location, age group and level. Paste its USTA page for links to the tournament, its entry list and its draws. Camps, training blocks, rest days and practice matches share the calendar, free. TierBreak proposes rest after a long camp and, with Advanced, between close tournaments.

FOR THE PARENT AT THE FENCE
What your athlete is working on, a brief for the drive home, and your own read of the match that never overwrites theirs.

WORK WITH A COACH, ON YOUR TERMS
A coach you accept reads the week, logs the lesson and you get the note, sets homework your athlete ticks off, and writes the plan and a parent brief. You see everything they write. Seven switches per child set what they see.

PRIVACY IS THE PRODUCT
A player under 13 is set up by their guardian; AI stays off unless the guardian turns it on, and the journal stays readable by the guardian. A player of 13 or over gets a private journal. No advertising.

AI YOU SWITCH ON
Off until a parent turns it on: the match story, car-ride brief, journal patterns, college brief, scouting and prep chat, with Advanced.

FREE AND ADVANCED
Free: every capture field, the analytics, the focus games, six audio tracks, six months of history, one athlete, the coach connection, your own calendar with your tournaments, and CSV export. Advanced adds phases 2 to 5 of the pathway, fourteen more audio tracks, the AI briefs, opponent scouting and the prep chat, rest proposals around your tournaments, your record against each opponent, a second athlete and every season. Advanced has a 14-day free trial; the price is under In-App Purchases and in the app before you subscribe.

SUBSCRIPTIONS
TierBreak Advanced is an optional auto-renewing subscription, monthly or yearly. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase and renews for the same period unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the period ends. Manage or cancel in your Apple ID settings.

### 5/5 — Not just stats, it builds a champion mindset!!!

*2026-10-03*

This app covers every single angle of tennis development! You can effortlessly log everything happening during a match and it has a genuine structured pathway for building mental stability and toughness! If you are a competitive player (or a parent/coach) looking to level up this is a 10/10 must-download.

**Developer response:** Thank you. The pathway is the part we are proudest of, so it means a lot that it is helping. Good luck this season!

### 5/5 — Great for parents and coaches too!

*2026-08-28*

My daughter has taken ownership of her journey with TierBreak. It’s impressed her coaches, simple to go deep tracking a match or just have her report and reflect. I love that flexibility and she is following the mental pathway and we are already seeing a difference on the court!

**Developer response:** Thank you for this. Hearing that she has taken ownership is exactly why we built it. Please tell us anything that would make it better.

### 5/5 — Junior Tennis Tracking 🔥🔥

*2026-08-24*

I love this app for my son’s tennis journey! From daily tennis/physical activity tracking, in match point by point tracking, UTR progress, and the goal setting! Both parent and child have access so reviewing progress is simple. If you have a child playing tennis this is the app for you!!!

**Developer response:** Thank you. We love that you and your son both use it. If there is anything you want to see next, write to support@tierbreak.app.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 2.0.1 — 2026-10-24

TierBreak 2.0.1. What changed since 2.0.

Easier to read. Bigger type everywhere, your iPhone's text size setting is honored, and the screens you use on a tournament day say less.

Match Stats in one table. The serve for both players, first and second serve won, aces and double faults, and forced errors.

A note at a moment. Pin your own note to the point it happened, during a live match.

Before the tournament: three things. The day before an event, one card with the coach's notes, your notes and your athlete's reminders.

Eight new guided audio tracks, all in one library. After a Loss and Court Breath are free, and Court Breath is on Match Day.

For coaches. Sign up from the phone, confirm a lesson, and it counts in your athlete's week at once.

AI for a player under 13 only when a guardian turns it on for that child.

Fixes. Reminders that would not set, the date on every tab header, and dates that did not show on a Mac.

### 2.0.0 — 2026-10-12

TierBreak 2.0. Everything since 1.2.0, in one place.

Tournament planning. Find junior tournaments nationwide, 10U and 8U included, with dates, entry deadlines, draw sizes, how many have entered and the ranking points each level awards, free. Add your home ZIP and the planner knows your USTA section and marks the Closed tournaments; the search can show only the dates you have free. With Advanced, save tournaments to your season plan with calendar entries and reminders, see your player's status and seed on every entry list, see which opponents you have played entered a tournament you saved with your record against each, and use opponent scouting and the prep chat, with a parent's AI consent and never under 13.

Your season on one screen. The Season tab opens on your plan: the next 3 or 12 months, camps, training blocks, rest and fixed dates, leagues and exhibitions, and you against last season. A coach can propose; nothing is real until you accept. Bring in last season's USTA results from Settings, or share a results page from Safari straight to TierBreak. The same plan is on the web.

Your coach writes into the record. A connected coach logs the lesson and you get the note, assigns homework your athlete ticks off on Today, reads the match they missed in points, and writes the plan and a brief for the parents. Everything they write is visible to you.

Live tracking. Quick, Full and Serve focus set what you track in one tap, and Your last mix brings back your own. Points only and Games only track as little as you like. On a day inside a tournament you saved, a new match fills in its name. After a set, the scoreboard shows that set's games in its own column. A doubles match names both opponents and your partner. Spin on the serve and on the shot that ended the point, off until you switch them on.

Mind. Today's Set and a 90-second starting line, six focus games with levels, the Reset Pacer, and the earlier games one tap away. A guided session saves with the screen off and, once saved, plays with no signal.

Also: share your last 7 days as a post or a story; the Match tab is now Compete, with what's next at the top; type an opponent's WTN and the analytics chart every match by the gap between your numbers; every screen is named in the bar and forms close with Cancel; new Terms and a privacy policy that say more about both kinds of account.

### 1.2.0 — 2026-09-09

All daily training logs and match tracking with full deep analytics in the app and through the platform website are free!

Coaches can now sign in to the app, see their roster, track a match courtside and write to the family. A coach's match joins your record only when you accept it on Today.

Add Results on the Match tab reads a pasted USTA results page or a photo of a draw sheet and shows every match before adding any.

The point sequence marks aces and double faults. The car-ride brief has a share card. The Proof shows how matches went with recent mental work and without.

TierBreak Advanced: phases 2 to 5 of the mental pathway, the full audio library, the AI features, a second athlete, full history and exports. 14-day free trial, then 6.99 a month or 69.99 a year.

### 1.1.1 — 2026-08-31

Fixes for coaches and families. Coach invitations now work every time, including if you tap the link twice. Removing a player from your family works again. Renaming an opponent updates every match you have played against them, and you can merge two entries for the same person from Settings.

### 1.0 — 2026-08-24

No release notes.
