To say this is short is an understatement, it was a total of three-ish rooms and only a few puzzles in each. We found the clues incredibly obtuse and had to constantly read walk throughs to advance. We play these games often and constantly questioned if it was us or the game. Either way, thanks for trying! ### 2/5 — OK but really short *2021-08-31* First few chapters really easy and the rest don't take long either. Completed in less than 3 hours. Not really worth the money and nowhere near as challenging as The Room or Meridian 157 **Developer response:** Thanks for the feedback, 3 hours gameplay isn't too bad for a couple of pounds. Obviously The Room and other games have much larger teams than just myself working solo, but I try my best to add as much content and value as I can. Thanks for trying my game! ### 3/5 — Clues?? *2021-06-21* I wish there was a place that you could get a clue. Either on the game or a website. I am stuck at the cpt finch box. Otherwise it has been super fun to figure out the clues! **Developer response:** Hi there, thanks for the feedback, there are a few walkthroughs on YouTube and I'm always available on email and social media to hand out hints.  I personally don't like including hint systems as they kind of spoil the whole point of the game.  As for where you are stuck, can you use the directional clue to translate the letters into words by reversing the alphabet? ### 3/5 — Buggy *2021-06-15* Game is not bad. Most puzzles are easy to solve but it doesn’t always save last position & starts you over on the end chapter. **Developer response:** Thanks for the feedback. I try my best to give a good variety of puzzles, for all skill levels. The save system will save all your progress, so if you have unlocked an area you can simply walk back through or if you have collected something it will be still present in your inventory. No progress is lost. Thanks again for playing! ### 2/5 — A real head scratcher *2021-06-03* This has all the hall marks of a great game, the problems i found are, none of the puzzles have any clues what to do for example the reverse alphabet puzzle I had to find a walkthrough on YouTube to find the answer because there was nothing telling you to use a reverse alphabet. On some scenes your looking at a dense wooded area but no clue which direction to go in, there could be multiple directions to go in but no paths or signs to direct you. The game left me feeling a bit fed up after a while and it’s over priced. On the plus side graphics and music while great. **Developer response:** Thanks for the feedback. I hope you enjoyed some parts of my game. The puzzles are of a varied difficulty, some people solve them instantly, while other rely on guides, so getting the difficulty perfect is tough. I do try to leave subtle hints. You could have use the directions as a clue to reverse the letters for instance. The games price reflects the cost of development for a solo developer (myself) to create the game, I work hard and put a lot of effort into my games. Maybe in the future my games will be lower in price, however for the audience size I think the price is fair. No clear idea as to what you are doing or heading into. ### 1/5 — Disappointing *2023-10-24* This game is way, way, way overpriced for what you get. I’ve bought many games and loved Room and DaVinci etc but this game is not worth it. I had about 30 minutes of play time, the puzzles were not fun or logical. Followed the Order of the mugs an still can’t open the box. I did pay for the game. An not happy. **Developer response:** Hi there, sorry to hear of your frustrations. When pressing the coloured buttons just double check the code box has reset by listening for the little beep. If you are still having troubles and want to double check your code the correct sequence is: RED - GREEN - PINK - BLUE - BROWN. I have had to turn the sound off, but that means I can’t hear any relevant clicks. Too dark to see some of the puzzles and cannot zoom in, will have to uninstall as it is too nauseating to play, for me, as it stands **Developer response:** Hi there, so sorry to hear my is game making you feel unwell. I have added a button to the title menu to toggle in-game music On/Off. Just tap the music icon in the corner to choose to play music or not. ### 2/5 — Objects just disappears *2025-11-09* I was enjoying the game until a critical object (Screwdriver) I found in the hut just disappeared from the game so I couldn’t progress to the next step. ### 2/5 — Not Good Enough *2023-01-30* I enjoyed the reality and logic of the puzzles very much, such as having either nothing but common sense or by having too much information that you need to decide what is relevant. It also looked good. First problem is the price for what is essentially a demo. Lots of glitches where the puzzle doesn’t complete even if you get it right so you’re left scratching your head. No story except stumbling on an unknown path and start breaking into private property. Lots of random button pressing to try and find objects that are invisible to the eye. Very small isolated puzzle areas. The most abrupt ending ever. Finally stumble across the entrance to a secret base, enter the code… back to main menu and continue game no longer works. I wouldn’t buy again from M9 because I feel well and truly robbed. Shame. **Developer response:** Really sad to read you didn’t enjoy my game. I always try to make the best game I can, I guess we have all been spoiled by huge game studios. As for glitches, most are just because the keypad wasn't reset when you enter a new code. All puzzles are logical and vary in type so you use your brain in different ways. Only criticism is that it’s so short! PS: game crashed on loading new level - discovered the problem was low battery (you need more than 10% it seems 😂). If you want more puzzles and adventure then please check out Tarakan, the next instalment following on from the submarine you discover in Tierra. ### 5/5 — Phenomenal ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ *2021-06-10* I can’t believe this game isn’t a 5 star rating …. it’s absolutely brilliant, perhaps because it doesn’t spoon feed you the answers (some ppl should stick to candy crush 😂) it deserves a fantastic rating to reflect the game, one reviewer moaned about not knowing what path to take in the woods 🤦🏼‍♀️ it’s an adventure game with multiple locations so you can piece puzzles together? Nothing difficult about that, in fact it’s more fun having multiple areas to explore at once. The only puzzle I didn’t know was the alphabet because I hadn’t heard of it before…. missed out on scouts as a kid 😝 but this game had it all varied puzzles, decent length and the music isn’t intrusive at all…… what is wrong with people! Please know that there are many of us who do appreciate all your hardwork and brilliance and enjoy using our initiative and imagination.
