Welcome to our Māori cultural App Tihi-o-Manono! 

We’ve created Tihi-o-Manono to be an effective resource and rallying point for you as you begin your journey to learn some important aspects of Māori culture about Ara Poutama Aotearoa.

We’ve included information on te reo Māori (the Māori language), tikanga (customs), mātāpono me ngā kaingākau (principles and values), and waiata (songs), to help you understand more about our unique and shared cultural heritage.

Tihi-o-Manono will increase your confidence, knowledge and capability to work effectively with Māori in your role within Ara Poutama Aotearoa and indeed the wider community.
