Rob tends to be very analytic and should you need reliable info, this is where to go. Also a burgeoning community of tech enthusiasts follow this podcast and hence downloading the app means you are tapping into a very vast knowledge base. Keep it up Rob. I have been a long time listener and very happy with the content provided. The App is a great app and I love the features included in this app overall. 1. Easy to find past episodes for listening. 2. Easy to contact Tii for comments and suggestions. 3. Even though Rob is pro Apple, he gives a balanced view and allows balanced views Pro or Con 4. The app allows article references and provides links in the show notes so the listener can read what is being reported. 5. Ability to mark favorite shows for easy finding. 6. Adding different formats of the show on the top of the screen. a. Audio listening b. Video viewing c. Text format d. PDF format Overall, the app is great and I give it 5 stars not for perfection but for making my day better by being a pipeline of Apple information and providing an easy way to listen to the show on a variety of formats with controls easy to operate in a nice concise easy manner of operation. He said so in his recent podcast. I guess I need to watch my six then. You cannot multitask with this and when you get calls and it interrupts the show. Most of the time you have to start all over. I know there is a resume show button but with the frequency of dropped signals from AT&T you have to start the show all over then try to scroll to where you think you were then sometimes that doesn't work. I really would like to see a multitask option... Because if you just stream the show in itunes it will multitask and you hear the same things although you will not get the bonus material which is good.. Getting to the links mentioned in the episodes, the primary reason for my three bucks, involves too many steps. And once you've clicked on an episode link to see it in the in-app browser, after you click "Done" shouldn't it go back to the list of links? As with the links, the episode descriptions are truncated, not long enough to decide if I'm interested -- why not give a full title instead of wasting that space with duplication? Little things are lame--like why not indicate if an app is iPad, iPhone, or universal? A 30-second forward button would be useful. Bigger things, like ugly design. My expectations were high, and the app quite mediocre. While the show often has insight and helpful gems, the smug and cloying tone of the podcaster, as well as the sycophantic tone of the recorded callers both get old and grating. Overall, a mixed bag for me. Occasionally good content, but hard to listen to compared to other podcasts, formulaic and a monotonous voice, and the app itself could be so much better. Whilst it has a listing of all past podcasts, you will use up valuable data in listening to them this way. Now that the Tii app is $0.00 I have tried it. The podcast is excellent and I recommend it to anyone who keeps coming to me for iOS help.
