## What is Tilt Maze?

Tilt your phone. The ball rolls. Find the exit.

That is the whole game. No currency, no energy timers, no ads.

The mazes are procedurally generated rather than hand-drawn, which means the game never runs out. There is always another maze, and it is always a little harder than the last one.

THREE WAYS TO PLAY

Time Trial — A fixed sequence of mazes, in order, getting steadily harder. Each level is the same maze on every run, so beating your own best time on Level 22 is a real record rather than luck of the draw. Your best time is saved for every level you finish.

Challenge — Lock in one difficulty and stay there. You get a continuous run of fresh, random mazes, all at exactly the level you picked. Nothing gets easier, nothing gets harder.

Endless — Start easy and keep going. The mazes get harder as you climb. See how far you can get before you cannot.

DIFFICULTY FROM 1 TO 50

At Level 1 the maze is open and forgiving, and you will solve it in seconds. By Level 50 the corridors are dense, the dead ends are cruel, and finding the path takes real concentration. The two barely look like the same game. Levels keep coming after 50 — nothing gets harder than that, you simply keep going.

REAL TILT, REAL PHYSICS

The ball answers to the accelerometer. It has weight and momentum, and tilting harder rolls it faster. You can tune how sensitive the tilt is, and recenter it so that however you happen to be holding your phone becomes the neutral position — useful if you play lying down.

SOMETHING NEW TO LOOK AT

Every maze is laid over a high-resolution photograph — stone, rust, foliage, fossils, and more than sixty others. The walls take their color from the picture underneath them, so each level looks like its own place.

NO ADS

Not fewer ads. Not ad-free if you pay. There are no ads in Tilt Maze.

FREE, WITH ONE OPTIONAL UNLOCK

The free game is a whole game. Time Trial is yours in full, from Level 1 as far as you can go, with your best time saved at every level. Challenge is playable from difficulty 1 through 10. Every bundled background is included.

One optional purchase, one time, adds:

• Endless mode
• The full Challenge range, 11 through 50
• Jumping straight to any Time Trial level you have already beaten, instead of starting over
• Your own photos as the maze background

No subscription, no tiers, nothing to buy twice.

Requires iPhone or iPad running iOS 18 or later. Plays entirely offline.

### 1/5 — SCAM

*2017-07-26*

I just bought this app, only to find out that IT DOESNT WORK with the updated iOS. So ridiculous.

### 4/5 — Needs sound effects & music

*2015-01-02*

After playing the lite version for a while & not seeing better apps elsewhere I decided to get this. Very realistic physics. Reminds me of the little plastic maze I had when I was a kid. Just needs sound effects.

### 5/5 — Love it

*2012-11-27*

A very fun app.

### 4/5 — This is what it looks like-

*2012-11-19*

A fun and simple little game to help pass the time when waiting in line, for an appointment, or while working up the courage to tell the spouse we're going to have to reconsider the auto coverage again.

### 3/5 — Quite Easy

*2012-08-23*

I was expecting to solve then at least in more than 1 minute

### 4/5 — Fun time passer

*2010-09-05*

Great way to pass some time when you're waiting around. Hard to stop once you get started. If the light's not very good, it's hard to see the ball and the exit.

### 2/5 — It's ok....

*2010-08-31*

Things you should know before you buy: you can't choose which maze you want to play. You do them in order. You can't save which maze you're at. So when you exit out of the game, you have to do the same mazes all over again. Which shouldn't be too hard, because the mazes are easy. Overall it's an ok game to play if you have absolutely nothing else to do.

### 3/5 — It's fun

*2010-05-05*

It's not a bad app it's only a buck and it's a fun time killer when your waiting for a movie to start. It's fast to start and fast to finish perfect for when you go to a movie or just want something easy to do

### 5/5 — It's okay

*2010-05-01*

The game itself is good, however I would like the game to save my data so that I don't have to start over everytime I play.

### 5/5 — Dang!

*2010-04-06*

This game is amazing! It is so fun to play. I like being able to move my iPod touch in different directions to make the little ball go in the direction I want.
