Always was. *2021-02-26* Tilta, the company that makes great hardware. If they need software, forget it. They keep choosing to lie about “future”, potential features and updates for ALL products. Bluetooth for focus motors...hahaha. Yeah, for 2 years they’ve said, “It’s coming”. It ain’t ever coming. 3rd party folks have had to reverse engineer the protocol, to hack things to work. They teased an API or a SDK...nope. They just took the money and RAN. Typical Tilta move... go read up for yourself, ### 1/5 — IOS 14 *2021-02-05* And still not working ### 1/5 — G2 Gravity is useless without this app *2021-02-02* iPhones need constant updates and Tilta needs to keep up with the updates of this app and apparently they don’t. So, my device has been useless sitting there waiting for Tilta to update this app. It’s been crashing on iPhones and iPads for months and months. ### 1/5 — Doesn’t work no updates for a while even though advertised with products on hardware website *2020-12-27* Contacted developer over two months ago (Oct 2020) about the app crashing on launch every time. I was told an update to the app would be available within a few weeks. Still no update after 2.5 months. Say anything... do nothing... what you can expect from these guys. Oh, but they DID take the time to add me to their marketing / promo email list!! ### 1/5 — This is reeeeeaaally bad *2020-12-20* This app is atrocious and honestly so is the g2x at this point, you can’t calibrate the gimbal without this app, and the app doesn’t work. Tilta discontinued their gimbal line so I kinda doubt there will be any support for it in the future. If you just bought a gimbal from tilta return it while you still can. They make great cages and accessories for the BMPCC 4K/6k though! ### 1/5 — Please update!!! *2020-12-08* Force closes. If you don’t allow the app to use Bluetooth the app opens, but it’s useless without Bluetooth. Once you allow Bluetooth from the app it will force close every time. We are work!) ### 1/5 — Tilta needs to step up *2020-10-05* This app was mediocre at best on IOS 13 and does not work at all with IOS 14. I have an iPhone 11 Pro Max and the app won’t load at all anymore and crash every time. I understand that IOS 14 is new but not being able to use the app makes it really hard to get my gravity G2X working at all. Please fix the app ASAP ### 2/5 — Horrible customer retention *2021-02-04* Some manufacturers have a trend of forgetting to keep existing customers happy and only focus on getting new ones. We spend our money on a product with great potential only to be abandoned without any R&D done on firmware enhancements.
