## What is TiltCards?

TiltCards, now with fractions, is an easy and convenient set of electronic flash cards for basic arithmetic.  Designed for children in elementary school, TiltCards offer three skill levels for testing addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.

The concept and use of TiltCards is simple and intuitive.  First select the skill level by pressing one button, and one more button to select the arithmetic function to test.  Then simply rotate your iPhone or iPod Touch in landscape orientation for the question, and then rotate your device back to portrait orientation for the answer.  To move to the next question, again just rotate your device to landscape.

TiltCards has been updated for modern iPhones and iPads. This version adds Show Question and Show Answer buttons while keeping the original tilt controls, improves iPad layout, updates the help instructions, and fixes several display issues for newer screen sizes.

Updated for modern iPhones and current iOS versions, with improved screen layout, refreshed app icon, and cleaner flashcard displays.

### 3.0 — 2012-09-25

-New game mode.  Tilt to the right for a new game mode that gives you 10 answers to choose from.  When you tilt to the left, the program runs in classic mode.
- New number selection.  You can now choose a number to work on.  For example, if you just want to work on number 7, all the questions have the number 7.

### 2.0 — 2009-11-10

Version 2.0 has been completely rewritten.  This allows more functionality to be added seamlessly to TiltCards.

This new version has three new features.  First, TiltCards 2.0 has the Missing feature.  Missing provides a random location for the missing number.  For example, you may see: 4+?=10.  The answer would then be 6.

The second new feature is Fractions!  The easiest level will provide two fractions that must be added or subtracted, then reduced.  The next level will provide the answer with whole numbers.  Finally, the highest level will provide whole numbers in the question!

The last new feature displays the question in the upper left corner when displaying the answer.

### 1.1 — 2009-09-17

Version 1.1 now increases the lowest random number for the Challenge level and the Extreme level.  Our website URL is now displayed in the application.
