This was a $2 app, I really expected more. It took a while to get the hang of but it was definitely worth the effort. The bokeh work really well and turn out great but you must use the right picture one with a nice mix of light and dark. Then you really need to play with the settings until you get it right. The UI on the tilt shift generator is just so much friendlier and more expansive ### 4/5 — Quick and easy customizable elective focus fx *2011-10-25, version 2.3* TiltShift creates compelling selective focus effects. Choose from linear or elliptical concentrations of the effect. Size and orientation of the effect can be adjusted with simple visual guides and dynamic previews. Two blurring algorithms and six aperture shapes (circular and hexagonal are most useful, the rest are gimmicky) give you substantial control over the quality of the blur effect. Strength and threshold are both adjustable. Color controls provide additional image enhancement capabilities, but these functions are often better performed with other apps. Are they convenience or clutter? Target the viewer’s eye to important information or draw it away from distractions. Make an image look and feel soft and dreamy. Change a scene into a miniature world. The results are superb. ### 2/5 — Too expensive and tedious to use *2011-03-30, version 2.1* Lacks intuition and ergonometric effectiveness- would benefit greatly from a quick general redesign in implementation and methodology. For instance, the fact one needs to continuously toggle between menu mode, which covers your screen, and adjustment mode and view mode is really a bore. More effects, like water color, film grain and less blocky and universal destruction in saturation and brightness modes would enhance the app. What it does do, allowing the iphoneagrapher to make poignant local adjustments, is fairly unique and quite artistic. ### 5/5 — A SIMPLY STUNNING A SEXY APP! *2011-03-12, version 2.1* This is a truly great app for anyone who love photography or just loves creating breathtaking photos. I just found this app randomly and noticed it was on sale and did some quick research and bought it immediately. It was also nice it's on sale this weekend but either way I just had to have it. Using my huge library of photos I have already made some really great looking photos look 100 times better using this app. Even if you have a pretty boring photo this will make it look like the best photo you have ever taken. I'm simply stunned at how well this works and how much fun I'm having using this. I'm really looking forward to some great updates in the future to make this even better than it is right now. I really hope they will make it so I can email photos and post them to my facebook profile because that would be so ideal and so crucial. Take my advice and try this out right now and you will love it as much or even more as I do. ### 5/5 — Super fantastic!! *2011-03-05, version 2.1* Love it!! Finally a blur that gives me easy control of placement. Ignore the negative comments...this app runs super on my iPod touch 4, altering downsized 21mp-(6mp) images from my dslr. Just two wishlist things...a radial blur that simulates my large format lenses from the 1800's and the ability to save presets:) thanks to the dev!! Also, I could really give a crap about an icon, as long as the app delivers the goods...and this one delivers!! Indiscriminately blurs the whole photo even though you supposedly select the radius you want as your safe area. Turns photos grainy and low res for no reason.
