## Newest reviews (2 of 20)

### 5/5 — Perfect!

*2021-04-23, version 1.5*

Thank you for adding keyboard support in the new update! Just what I needed.

### 5/5 — Excellent and useful app

*2020-10-21, version 1.2*

Thank you!

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Very confusing.

*2026-05-09, version 1.9*

Not intuitive. Could not figure out keystrokes to delineate hours, minutes and seconds. Deleted within 5 minutes.

### 1/5 — hour-minute

*2023-03-29, version 1.5.2*

It keeps calculate my figure into hours/minutes/seconds. And I don't know how to put it back to numbers for math.

### 1/5 — poor time calc

*2021-06-19, version 1.5*

uhm, I want HOURS and Minutes, NOT DAYS! Stupid inefficient calculator.

### 2/5 — Nice idea, but poor execution

*2023-12-07, version 1.8*

While it does calculate time, there appears to be zero keyboard support and no way to turn off the calculation results turning to Days instead of remaining as the Hours/Minutes I need. Addtionally, the lack of a Help/User guide just seems like a poor oversight. Maybe in future iterations these opportunities can be addressed. Until then, I will have to find a different solution.

### 3/5 — Why did the change it?

*2024-05-16, version 1.9*

I use this for work. But the older version was better :(

### 4/5 — Very good time calculator

*2026-08-14, version 1.9*

I have a need on occasion to calculate times given a start time and one or more event durations in minutes. I tried several time calculators, but this one really is the nicest. I love the way you can specify the units by adding ‘d’, ‘h’, ‘m’, and ’s’ to the number; other calculators assume you want to enter hours, minutes, and seconds, and you need to type the entire set of digits in regardless. This one allows me to enter ‘10h35m + 127m =‘ and I get the correct answer. Very nice.

I would love to be able to specify a default unit, so that, for example, if I leave off the unit, the app will assume the default (say, if I just enter ‘102’ it will assume minutes — or hours or seconds, or whatever I specify the default to be).

I also note that I’m unable to change any of the settings in the Settings dialog. I will be sending this info and other suggestions to the developer. But, overall, the app does the job better than any of the others I tried.

### 4/5 — Convoluted data entry.

*2024-08-26, version 1.9*

You should be able to just set a time format and enter values by decimal point (or comma, or colon) without having to delineate the DHMS with every entry. It's a totally uneeded extra step and ruins the calculators ability to be effective for 10-key entry.

### 4/5 — Ok but

*2023-06-21, version 1.6*

Will do fractions if a second but you need to tap S after = to display them. Tedious data entry. Must specify H, M, S for each digit. I wish we could assume 5M 2 meant 5 minutes and 2 seconds without having to enter the S. Just more jumping around on the keyboard to enter times than necessary.

But, good customer service and response from developer.

### 5/5 — No ads, does what it says on the tin

*2026-08-16, version 1.9*

No ads, does what it says on the tin

### 5/5 — PERFECT

*2025-03-07, version 1.9*

This is most everything I ever wanted in a calculator, all in one.

## Most praised reviews (8 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Perfect

*2024-12-30, version 1.9*

It is very simple and easy to use, and I have found this app to be very helpful when it comes to figuring out times for my recipes.

### 5/5 — Very Handy

*2024-10-23, version 1.9*

Useful, Free, Ad-Free, and Privacy Respected. What is not to like!!! Thank you

### 5/5 — Simple, fast, works well

*2024-02-20, version 1.8*

Perfect little app. Does just what you'd expect: lets you tap in times or durations and add/subtract/multiply/divide them.

I wanted a quick way to calculate when my renders would be finished - I know what time I started the render, and how many frames my machines have rendered so far. Easy enough to work out on a bit of paper, but this app makes it faster. Thanks Yoshihiro!

Feature requests for if you're bored (!):
- When you first open the app it automatically inserts the time now, which is ace. it'd be nice to have a "time now" button (and keyboard shortcut) to stick the current time in too
- I don't need to use decimals, so a way to switch the numpad "." character to insert a "unit break" would be cool - so you could type 13.02.09 rather than 13h02m09
- And if you want to make a pro version, it'd be great to be able to handle h/m/s/frames, so we could use this for timecodes too. Bit more complicated tho ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Cheers :)

### 5/5 — So Intutive

*2023-06-10*

Within 10 seconds of downloading I could start to use it very effectively because it uses natural language notations to do calculations E.g. 2h30m etc.. I had to calculate when I have to start from home to for the airport flight to catch. The quick calculation showed when I have to start E.g 11h10m - 1h30m - 30m - 2h30m = and bang comes the answer.

### 5/5 — Should use a colon : instead of point .

*2023-02-15, version 1.5.2*

This app does exactly what I needed, simply and cleanly. One minor thing, time is marked with a colon, such as 2 minutes and 40 seconds being written 02:40

### 5/5 — Great App

*2022-11-21, version 1.5.2*

I am a Business Supervisor and this app comes in handy when completing schedules and double checking payroll hours.

### 5/5 — OTR Truck Driver.

*2022-04-01, version 1.5.2*

This calculator is very helpful when calculating my Driving Logs. It’s all about the time and being accurate which is crucial.
I would like to access the darken out version. I’m not sure of how to bring the night version up. Any guidance would be appreciated.

### 5/5 — Great Time App

*2021-11-13, version 1.5.2*

Does just what it is supposed to do.
