## What is Time Clock Helper?

Use this app to quickly calculate how many hours you worked in a day using a standard time card.

There are two ways to input values.  The first view allows you to pick a time using a scroll wheel and then press the location you want that time to go into.  If you swipe left or right you can change to a manual entry mode.  In this mode, you simply press the number you want to change and then use the keyboard to enter a new time.  You can press next to go to the next field, or done to finish.

If you don't need certain punches, such as a lunch, use the checkboxes next to the times you don't want.

It now allows you to record the total hours for more than one day.  You can also view all the recorded days - up to 400 at the current time.

Recording a time couldn't get easier.  Simply press the add to total button and it's done.  To view the days press on the label showing the current total hours and a new view will open.  The add to total button will turn red whenever a change has been made to one of your punches.    

In the days box you can scroll up and down to view all the days recorded.  You can also delete days by pressing on them and answering the prompt.  If you want to clear them all press the clear all button on the bottom.  If you would like to e-mail the times to someone press the e-mail button.  Press done when you are finished to return to the entry screen.

This app also allows the option to select different rounding options.  Many work places round to the nearest 6 minutes, or 15 minute increment and this app now allows that in it's calculations.  To change options, simply press the setting button and change the settings, or go into the device settings and change it for the app.  

You may also show the date the time was added to the total by going into setting and changing the show date option.  You can also change it back to show just the day numbers.

You can also show the total time recorded in a decimal format or in an hours and minutes format by going into setting and setting the show as decimal option.

The app is pretty straight forward and simple.  If you have any problems, or additions you would like to see send me an e-mail and I will attempt to fix them in the next version.

It’s great. At my work we have to keep our own time and we don’t have a set schedule . This app insurers that I not only have a digital time card but that I stay at my 40hours . Love that it keeps a running tally . Because of it I know how many hours I need on a daily basis to keep on track .i like to build a little time. so I can leave early on Fridays . This app lets me know down to the minute how long I need to stay on  Friday day. I’m gone !

The app is very simple and easy to use. I had questions about some things and the developer responded to me in a timely manner.  Definitely going to refer this app to people!

**Developer response:** The picker wheel will use whatever time format you have set on your device as a default.  When it enters the times as punches it does convert them to 24 hour time, though. I don't know if this helps you or not.  My goal was to keep the app as simple as possible and to also mimic a standard time card.  I added the ability to pick times in 12 hour time as a compromise.  The times saved and tracked are not affected by the 12 hour or 24 hour time format.  They are simply the total time worked for those punches.

This app does exactly what I need done which is easily and accurately add up daily punches on timecards. No frills...just gets a very tedious and boring job done with the least amount of pain possible.  Really basic app with no wasted motion.  Kudos to the author.

Will not calculate each day together. To hard to input time for each day. Spent money for nothing already deleted the App had it for about an hour

**Developer response:** There are two ways to enter times - simply swipe on the screen to switch between them.  The default uses the scroll wheels to pick a time and then touch the place for that time to be used.  The other screen allows you to type in each time manually using the 24 hour format.  

As far as adding the days together, simply press the add to total button once you have the times entered.  The running total will show up next to the add to total button.  You can press on the total hours to see a list of them and also to delete, or change the punch dates.
