Edit: I love this app. It’s simple and easy to use. It’s flexible, allowing me to add notes at any time. I hope you’ll keep it up to date. I don’t want to lose all my data again. 

I’m writing a review because access to App Support is forbidden. I loved Timestamp until this morning, when the app wouldn’t let me enter any text. It would only Select All (on its own), and wouldn’t let me deselect. In attempting to solve the problem, I quit out of it and restarted the app. I was horrified to see that it had deleted all my data. The app is worse than worthless if it loses my data. My neurologist needs my data—in fact, requires it from me. Developer, please restore my data. It’s crucial. Thank you.

What's new?
Well, they failed to mention the new ad bar above the keyboard.  Who wants to accidentally click an ad while typing?  I often use this app in the middle of the night when I'm bleary-eyed.  I don't need an ad in my way. I can close some ads, but the box stays and the ad reloads after a bit.) The ad box is even in the way of the menu, so I have to click "Done" to minimize the keyboard to use the menu functions.  Also, full page ads pop up from time to time. Ugh!

The new long click/short click is intriguing but backwards.  Being able to preload words and phrases is part of what I love about this app, but now I can't just click and go. I have to waste precious seconds waiting for the menu to show up. Also, after years of using the app, I'm used to just clicking once. Now I have to delete and long press. Even more time wasted. 

I have used this app for five years. I loved its simplicity. These two changes have made this app much more difficult to use. 4-5 stars is now 2 stars. :( 
I hope the developer fixes this soon!

Edit:  It’s been maybe 9 months since the update. I just realized it has been a while since I’ve seen a pop-up ad in this app, so I assume the developer got rid of them. Yay!  The ad bar above the keyboard is still there, but I’ve added a star for the improvement. :)

I’ve been looking for a simple app to stamp time notes. 

This is the only one if it’s kind that I found even though it does not feel modern or has cloud backup options, it does the job and you are able to email the notes. For these reasons this app deserves a review.

This was a perfect app to log the time in which I performed certain activities. I mainly use it to log when I took my medications. It can be used to log all sorts of activities throughout your day.  It's easy to program and logging your activity is as easy as pressing one button. However, I didn't give it a 5 star because Apple occasionally sends me a message that this app slows down my phone and that the developer should improve the compatibility so it can run better.  Developer, please improve this🙏🏻

I needed something very straight forward and easy to use. I'm a first time mom and need to keep track of my baby's feeding and sleeping time. At first I was using a paper notebook, then the calendar on my phone. I wanted to be able to see my notes on one page until I found time keeper memo. It's not the best but it does the job and free. But there is an occasional glitch or prob where all my entries compete disappears! But all you gotta do is to close the app and reopen it.

A simple way to record the time I did something. In this case it was when I took a particular medication since I couldn't remember this allows me to record it and have it documented for when I ask myself if I took it or not. Great, simple app. Does all it is asked to do - no issues. Hard to find but glad I did!!!

- latest update significantly screwed with functionality. Much more difficult to change text and now there is very annoying ad bar on bottom screen. As an everyday user of this app I am NOT HAPPY WITH THIS UPDATE.

画面を全て占めるような広告が頻繁に出るようになってから使わなくなりました。
そもそも粗末なアプリですが、時間記録ができるので使っていました。
しかし、広告が頻繁に出るようになってからパケット代がもったいないので使用しなくなりました。

This is basically the notepad app with a time stamp button.  It was useful until the author greedily added an obnoxious amount of advertising and pop-ups.  I wouldn't have minded an occasional ad, but soon I spent more time clearing ads than the app saved.  I started using something else, so now he isn't getting any ad revenue after all.

I might have paid $0.99 for this simple little app if I was in a generous mood, but $16.99 for the ad-free version is stunningly expensive for something so basic.  It doesn't have any ratings so I guess nobody bought it - meaning he isn't making any money from sales either.

There is a life lesson here about overestimating your own importance, and how being greedy and abusing your customer base for too much profit will alienate them and leave you with nothing.

This latest version includes a new ad bar at the bottom that takes up a significant portion of the screen, especially in keyboard mode. Also, periodically, a full-page ad pops up over the screen. I use this app while auditing and mystery shopping and need to be able to have very timely inputs and the ability to see more of the memo area when typing. The new add features are inhibiting effective use of this app. I wish I had not upgraded this app to the latest version! Sadly, the Pro version is excessively expensive ($16.99) so I will not be upgrading.

毎朝通勤時に使用してます。登録する地点を決めておいて、今日はいつもより早く出られた、とか、早く歩けた、とか、何分発の電車に乗るには…という逆算をしたりとか。些細な記録ですが、簡単だから続いています。
通勤時だけではなく、ふだんと違う行動をする日にも、ライフログがわりに使用してます。

要望として、曜日もタイムスタンプのフォーマットに入れて欲しいです。

I use this app to count loads when hauling aggregate. Very simple, and accurate, yet adaptable. It does what the developer promises. It would be nice to have the function of tallying the count at day end but that is minor and particular to my needs. Never had any freezes or crashes.

Useful once you figure out the odd interface. Confusing at first. There are no buttons or controls to make a timestamp!  It turns out the white box at the top is not an entry field, it is the button that creates a time stamp. (Hirofumi, it should look more like a button.) Another problem is, everything is in reverse order. You temporarily fix this with "reverse the line" in the export menu in the top left, but the new entries still appear at the top which makes no sense. (Hirofumi, it should be "reverse order" with the other (i) preferences. It should be permanent, and new entries should appear at the bottom.) Set your words in the prefs (i) in the upper right corner. Use the big white button top center to add a time stamp. One other thing, Hirofumi: Please make a paid version without the advertisement icons. Works okay once you figure it out. Good job!

This is perfect.  Simply Beautiful!!  Log events with ease and only two taps on the phone.  Amazingly useful for documenting repetitive events and an easy edit to add short notes as needed.  Love it.

This app is very straight-forward and simple in design, which is PERFECT.  I've tried other time tracking apps but they're bloated with functions and vague menus I never use.  The only thing missing in this app which would make it 5 stars is the ability to start the timer at 00:00 instead of the time of day, which would make it great for logging live video events.

Update:  I'm giving this 5 stars now because I've now downloaded other apps and nothing comes remotely close to the easy layout of this app.  PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE update the app to include starting at zero upon first event creation, it would be perfect for video logging of live performances.  What would also be helpful is the ability to flip all the events in the list so I can export to email in chronological order top to bottom instead of bottom to top. PLEASE!  I would pay for those upgrades!  :)

Update!: now features "fe" first event functions, which is perfect!  Would still love the events to add to the bottom of the list instead of on top.  Thank you for the update!  :)
