I thought this game would be ideal, as I can “control time”. Except, you don’t. There is a constantly moving enemy behind you, meaning if you stop for too long, you die. ### 3/5 — Fun but flawed *2025-01-20, version 1.4.0* The concept is good - essentially Superhot but as a 2D bullet hell shooter. It works well for the phone since you only need to slide one finger or thumb around. However, it’s made more frustrating than it needs to be due to bad visual choices. Your weapon fire and the exploding fragments of bad guys are too big and overlaid on top the things you actually need to pay attention to, ie the bad guys you’re trying to avoid. Thus, the game isn’t so much about carefully avoiding enemies as it is about struggling to see them amidst all the VFX spam. Every time you die it’s because you didn’t see something, not because you couldn’t avoid it. ### 3/5 — Fun, with issues *2023-08-11* Hadn’t played the original, but this is tons of fun. Have to say though, the bonus boxes at the beginning are extremely frustrating. The selection of each bonus seems to be at least one screen off from what is showing.
