I do not like so many 100 lists of people, companies, etc.. I wish the editors would just stick to regular news stories, editorials, culture, etc.. The deficiencies that I see are: 1) It doesn't save your current location in the magazine for the next day, 2) It doesn’t provide a way to bookmark pages that I can find, and 3) The table of contents should be available from the directly from the page showing the cover. It seems that you must advance one page before access to the button leading to the table of contents is available. All the problems with the old version are gone. It’s fast, clean, and easy to use. Best of all, the content looks just like the Apple News+ version, beautifully formatted and optimized for mobile. I like how you can sign in with either your email or account number. I also like how the pages read when I turn my tablet from landscape to portrait and vise versa. In landscape the tablet screen displays two pages of the magazine whereas portrait shows one page, but scaled larger. I would suggest to allow readers to switch to dark mode while reading in the native pdf format. The app currently provides a dark mode option, however, the content switches as if reading a webpage.
