## What is Time On Water?

Time On Water turns your iPhone or iPad into a marine instrument display built around the way you use your boat.

YOUR BOAT. YOUR DATA. YOUR DISPLAY.

Create your own dashboard pages, choose the information that matters and arrange it into clear, readable widgets. Start with your iPhone’s built-in location data, or connect compatible onboard instruments for live information from the boat.

BUILD DISPLAYS FOR THE JOB

Every boat—and every person aboard—is different.

Create focused pages for the helm, the rail, the start or general sailing. Choose your widgets, change their size and organise your dashboards around what you need to see at a glance.

Depending on your device, subscription and connected equipment, available information can include:

• Speed over ground and course over ground
• Position and heading
• Apparent and true wind
• Boat speed and depth
• Navigation and waypoint information
• Sailing-performance data
• Polar targets and percentage of target

CONNECT THE BOAT

Time On Water can connect to supported marine-network gateways over Wi-Fi, bringing compatible onboard data onto the screens you already own.

Save the connections you use and return to them quickly with Quick Connect. Data availability depends on the instruments, gateway and information present on the boat’s network.

RECORD YOUR TIME ON THE WATER

Start a Session and preserve what happened on the water.

Free users can record position, speed over ground and course over ground using the iPhone’s location services. Connected boats can record the marine data available through their supported gateway.

Review your Sessions, inspect the recorded track and replay the sail through the same configurable dashboards used for live data.

Change pages, try different layouts and revisit the Session as though the recorded information were arriving from the boat again.

FOR PERFORMANCE

Time On Water Pro adds boat-specific performance tools for sailors who want more than raw numbers.

Import and select polar data, compare live performance with target speed and display focused information for different points of sail.

FOR THE START

Turn live position, movement and wind data into information you can use during the starting sequence.

Set the ends of the starting line and monitor:

• Real-time line bias calculated using your wind data
• Distance to Line
• Time to Line
• Time to Burn

Time On Water continuously updates the numbers as the boat moves, helping you judge whether you are early, late or approaching the line on time.

START FREE

Explore Time On Water using the sensors already in your iPhone:

• Build configurable dashboard pages
• Display device position and movement
• Record and replay GPS-based Sessions
• Explore the supplied demonstration Session

CONNECTED

Connect supported onboard instruments:

• Receive compatible live marine data
• Save connection profiles
• Use Quick Connect
• Record and replay connected Sessions

PRO

Add sailing-performance intelligence:

• Polar import and selection
• Live targets and performance calculations
• Real-time start-line tools
• Line bias, Distance to Line, Time to Line and Time to Burn
• Everything included with Connected

Connected instruments and advanced performance features require an eligible subscription and compatible marine-network equipment.

Continued use of location services during an actively recording Session can affect battery life. Background location is used only while a Session you explicitly started remains active.

Time On Water is a supplementary display. It does not replace primary navigation equipment, alarms, safety equipment, charts, proper seamanship or the need to maintain an appropriate lookout.
