## What is Time Release Safes?

Time Release Safes turns your phone into a body camera the moment can't erase. As you record, video streams off your phone in real time — end-to-end encrypted, with keys only you hold — so what it captures is already safe even if the phone isn't. We don't have access, and neither does anyone else; only YOU decide who does.

TWO-BUTTON SAFETY
When something's off, one tap does the right thing. Check-in captures a short clip and quietly alerts the people you chose. Full Panic does the same, faster, and cloaks the screen behind a clock so no one watching your phone knows the app is even running. Every capture is encrypted on your device before it leaves.

STEALTH MODE
Disguise the entire app behind a clock cover. A gesture only you know unlocks it. Perfect for anyone who can't have a safety app visible on their home screen.

ENCRYPTED PERSONAL VAULT
Store journals, sensitive documents, health information, backup codes, evidence — anything you'd want protected. It's a personal encrypted vault by default, with the OPTION to release contents on your terms.

DELIVERY ON YOUR TERMS
Pick when and who. A trusted friend can trigger a release. A calendar date can trigger a release. A group of trusted people voting together can trigger a release (Quorum). A missed check-in over days or weeks can trigger a release. Every path requires either your action or theirs — never ours.

RECOVERY YOU CONTROL
Lose your phone? Get back in with a 24-word recovery key you saved at signup, OR with help from Recoverees you chose in advance (they hold encrypted pieces of your key, and enough of them together can restore access). We never hold your key.

QUICK ACTIVATION
Fire Check-in or Full Panic from the Home Screen widget, from Control Center, or with a "Hey Siri" phrase — without ever unlocking your phone.

WHAT MAKES TRS DIFFERENT
- Zero-knowledge: encryption keys never leave your devices unencrypted
- End-to-end encrypted from your device to the recipient's
- XChaCha20-Poly1305 authenticated encryption (tamper-evident)
- Every capture, note, and file is encrypted before it touches the internet
- No ads. No selling data. No backdoors — external security audit forthcoming

TIERS THAT SCALE
- Free: 600 MB storage, unlimited Safes through launch, Stealth Mode included
- Plus ($9.99/mo, Founding Member $4.99): 25 GB, longer recording windows, camouflage themes
- Pro ($19.99/mo): 100 GB, extended recording, positioned for journalists and field documentation
- Family ($19.99/mo or $199.99/yr): 100 GB shared across up to 5 people — safer together

IMPORTANT
Time Release Safes is not an emergency response service. It won't dispatch police, EMS, or advocates on your behalf. If you're in immediate danger, call 911 (US), your local emergency line, or a hotline like the National Domestic Violence Hotline at 1-800-799-7233.

Recording laws vary by state and country — you're responsible for using the app in compliance with your local laws.
