### 3/5 — Notifications not popping up

*2025-11-30, version 4.4.2*

I’m not getting notifications on my phone since the latest update.

### 4/5 — Please fix one thing that’s annoying

*2025-11-28*

Super useful app except for one thing. Developers can you PLEASE change the “ date of service” day of the week selector to include the written day of the week e.g. “Monday” 24 Nov 2025 right away? Everyone will always know what day of the week they want a service, but I don’t know the numerical date off the top of my head unless I double check it in the calendar app just before, or just fill it in and guess and then waste my time changing it later. The written day of the week populates in the app after you select the date anyways, so why not make it easy and just have it include the written day right away? It’s especially annoying when selecting multiple dates of the same service. Do I know I want a walk booked for Monday-Friday next week? Yes. Do I know what those exact dates are without looking it up separately? No. Please just make the app the tiniest bit quicker/easier to use by adding “ Tuesday 02 Dec 2025” instead of just “02 Dec 2025” as my initial selection. I understand this is a first world problem but every time I book something it is irritating and is such a simple fix :)

### 4/5 — One requested tweak

*2025-11-22, version 4.4.2*

The app is pretty great, but PLEASE put a selection on the “Time Off” request page for “All Day”- Having to put in a start and end time is tedious when you need to be off all day.

### 4/5 — 4.5 star

*2025-07-19, version 4.1.3*

I wish there was an option to cancel your cancellation request! Once you submit a cancellation, you can’t take it back.

### 2/5 — Incessant pop-up ruins the experience.

*2024-11-07, version v3.4.31*

There is so much that is well done, so many great features.

The one thing I cannot understand...is why the "please set to always allow" pop up comes up so frequently, and why there is NOT a "do not show me this again" option!

It will even pop up in the middle of me typing a chat message to a client! Please, I will not be changing my settings. Its disheartening because I believe the annoyance is an intentional feature, not a bug.

Yes, I understand what the pop up is telling me. Yes, I understand my location is "less accurate."

But I am fine with that. I could be on the app and it will pop up twice in a 15 minute time span. I have my settings that way for a reason. There is no reason this app "always" needs to have my location services on.

### 5/5 — Wonderful

*2024-07-18, version v3.4.20*

Wonderful idea and a total lifesaver for myself since I sometimes have to leave town on short notice.

My only minor complaint is there doesn’t seem to be any way to delete an accidental entry from the pet tab and if it’s incomplete, you can’t schedule a sitter. It’s an odd oversight in an overall well developed app.

### 4/5 — Add Client in App

*2024-07-01, version 3.4.18*

No option to add a new client in the app, must be done on desktop which is annoying.

### 4/5 — DARK MODE PLEASE

*2024-06-21, version 3.4.18*

I love what this app offers. It’s a breeze for pet parents and sitters to keep in contact and over all a great tool. However, it DRAINS my battery like no other. I use just about all my apps in dark mode if they have the option and I think it would be a great option to have with this as well. I’m not someone with two phones like most people I work with so I think it’s something to keep in mind for future updates.

### 5/5 — Perfect!

*2024-06-11*

Your Companion’s Guardian (pet care company) in PA uses this app. It is terrific! So well-rounded. Easy to learn and use. Connects both clients and workers. Easy to manage and move stuff around. Information can be updated at anytime. An amazing app to have when running a company. Support team available too. Appreciate the zoom class on how to use the app too because you were able to ask questions and see how the app works. Free trail available so you don’t feel forced to purchase right away and get to learn/see if it’s a good fit. Everything I was looking for. Always improving too.

### 5/5 — Great software and company!

*2024-05-31*

I have been using this software for a year now and love it. We just started our services last year and I actually started with a different software, but quickly changed when I found TTP. So glad I did! So easy for my other sitters to use. I love that as the admin I can oversee what’s going on with all my sitters. The clients love it as it’s easy and convenient for them to use and they love the reports. I especially appreciate how helpful the company is if I have a problem, but I rarely have to contact them because they have done such a great job creating easy to find and follow videos that walk me through most any questions I have!! They are always working to make upgrades and improvements. I highly recommend this software for any sitters!

### 4/5 — Works well, big fan of the location tracker

*2024-05-29*

I use this app for work and I like that the pet owners can see where I walked their dog or that I stayed at their home for the full duration of the visit. There's one tiny thing. On the main page under the schedule tab, at the top, there is a horizontal bar showing the days of the week. You can click the arrows or swipe to jump to the previous/next week. I wish this bar had a sliding effect instead of fully jumping to the next week so that I could better control which days are shown. I don't know why, it's very minor, but it drives me nuts lol.
I also agree with other reviews saying it would be nice to see a list or monthly view of scheduled services instead of having to swipe through.

### 3/5 — Battery usage is insane on this app

*2024-03-14, version 3.4.8*

This actually isn’t a bad dog walking all compared to some I’ve used which are insanely buggy. My main complaint is that it really drains my phone battery and I get messages from the app constantly telling me to turn it to always allow location sharing instead of while using which is really obnoxious. These two issues aren’t that bad but together they add up to a major annoyance

### 3/5 — Disappointing

*2024-03-01, version 3.4.8*

Just started using this app but was shocked to find that you can’t have multiple users set up as a pet’s parent. You have to share login credentials with anyone else who needs access to scheduling and payment.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Wrongful termination

*2025-11-16, version 4.4.0*

BEWARE!!!
This company has scheduling issues, payment inconsistency, and now a lack of professionalism in how they handle workers. I worked with Queen City Pet Sitting for months and really disappointed with how things turned out. Communication was inconsistent, job listings were unpredictable and the pay varied from one booking to the next something that was never mentioned during the interview…

In the job listing it said up to $27 an hour and that is one big fat Lie. Once I started asking about getting more steady work and consistent pay otherwise the job wouldn’t be sustainable, I suddenly stopped receiving any job offers at all. It’s now been weeks with no communication or opportunities Then my account in their scheduling system was deactivated without notice when I asked why this was happening Shauna told me “after reviewing things internally, we've decided that we'll need to end your time with Queen City Pet Sitting. this isn’t personal and is strictly about ensuring the standards of our clients expect” when we both know that is not the truth…

so I come on here to to warn other people who are thinking about using QCPS weather your a pet sitter or client This company is NOT reliable or transparent if you’re looking for stable income or professional management!!!
Luckily I had other job offers lined up once I started noticing the unprofessionalism otherwise they would have tried to let me go discreetly and I wouldn’t have been able to pay my bills this month…

I loved caring for the pets and the clients were amazing I never had one bad experience with anyone but the lack of communication skills and basic professionalism from both Shauna Cole & stacey fisher made this a very frustrating and unpleasant experience.

### 1/5 — Terrible

*2025-05-17*

Update: the woman running this in Tallahassee has now resorted to threats after I called her out for over charging me for weeks. She is very volatile and prone to angry outbursts and tantrums, whatever you do do not entrust your dogs care to her, I’ll be installing security cameras and keeping my doors locked as I do not know what lengths she will go to as her temper is so out of control. Her name is Dee, beware

Good person running it however is rather volatile in nature and prone to tantrums over nothing. However I believe my pet was well taken care of while I used this app as far as I’m aware. Good way to meet dog watchers and move on, the drama she created due to her poor management wasn’t worth keeping the app.

### 1/5 — Modifying/cancel reservations

*2025-04-22, version 4.0.1*

The UX for modifying reservations is very unclear. I work in user design and I could not figure it out. You should be able to simply click on any reservation, and have a modify button. It isn’t that hard, I hope the app is updated quickly. No way to cancel reservations in the app!? Unreliable scheduling. They’ll cancel days before the walk, leaving you in a pickle. Recommend a different service

### 1/5 — Horrible UX

*2025-02-01, version 3.4.38*

I’ve been using this app for about 3 years as a dog walker. It actively makes my job more difficult through its inconvenient and unintuitive design. For example, there’s no way to message a client directly from the home screen, you have to go to a pet profile, select chat history, and start a new message from there. Notifications for upcoming walks only appear AFTER they’ve passed. It’s time consuming and frustrating in a job that often leaves little margin for error.

### 1/5 — Modifying/cancel reservations

### 1/5 — Be Mindful of your Data

*2024-03-08*

The app collects a lot of data (addresses, emergency contacts, home access instructions, payment) and this is their deletion policy:

“Time To Pet is a very complicated cloud-based system. Because entities in Time To Pet are so interconnected (one client may be connected to staff members, events, pets, custom rates, services, and more), permanently deleting individual items can lead to breaking some of those connections and can cause unexpected errors in your system. Marking a staff member, a client, or a service as inactive will essentially delete them (as they will not have any access to your system) without the risk of breaking a connection.
However, we can permanently delete all data from your account. If you would like us to do this, please contact Time To Pet support.”

Any service that self-describes as “complicated” should send up a red flag. You can email support and request deletion, which takes 7-10 business days. Just important context to be aware of.

The app also allows companies to require credit cards be kept on file. But the invoicing and billing systems are still handled manually behind the scenes which can lead to human errors including double billing.

Companies may like this app, but from a user standpoint it’s clunky (doesn’t just list your scheduled services; you must swipe to the month), allows companies more control of data than users, and requires extra steps to manage your own data.

Wouldn’t recommend.

### 1/5 — Scam alert

*2023-12-07, version 3.3.6*

This app allows the dog walker to withdraw money from your card without your permission. I had the unfortunate experience of hiring a dog walker that decided to withdraw $850 from my credit card. When I contacted Time to Pet they didn’t even bother asking me my name or who the dog walker was. I attempted to provide them this information and the person that answered had little interest in what occurred. So if you do decide to use this app at least refuse to put a card on file and pay another way. I eventually got the charges reversed but it was a bit difficult to explain because the prior charges were legit. So I’d stay away.

### 1/5 — App freezes

*2023-07-05, version 3.2.31*

With location services disabled, starting a visit freezes the app completely. You must fully close the app, wait a few moments, then reopen it if you wish to navigate it at all.

### 1/5 — Needs work

*2021-08-12, version 3.1.24*

Multiple times now I’ve had to cancel appointments on my sitter because I forgot I had them scheduled. Time To Pet provides companies with no way to send reminders. Very annoying.

Additionally, I should be able to have one account for multiple providers. Instead I have to sign in and out of multiple accounts. Very annoying.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Time to Pet is actually the best thing I ever did for my business

*2026-06-09*

Unironically if time to pet shut down tomorrow I’d just go ahead and shut my business down right with it because holy cow I can’t even imagine living without it at this point. Some of the reviews had made me hesitant early on but I’m glad my admin talked me into it. And even if there are things that aren’t perfect it’s clear they have a dedicated team constantly working to make improvements

### 5/5 — Message issue

*2025-10-04, version 4.3.4*

When you write out a message to the client, you can only go so far, then you’re writing blind. You have to exit the complete and go back in to extend the box so you can see what you’re texting. This becomes cumbersome after awhile. This wasn’t an issue before, but it is now. I’ve verified with other users. iPhone.

### 5/5 — 10/10 highly recommend if you’d like a simpler life!

*2025-10-03*

Time to pet has been incredibly useful and made many components of my business processes substantially more efficient and organized!

Every feature and enhancement have been thoughtfully designed and the high standards of communication my company commits to and ease of transactions is easily attained between clients and my team!

Invoicing payment collection scheduling everything else all in one place is has made this software 1000% every penny!

### 5/5 — Easy to use and amazing customer service too!

*2025-07-02, version 4.1.0*

### 5/5 — Great app

*2025-05-14, version 4.0.14*

I've been using this app for 7 years now and love it. It and the website are very usher friendly. Being old school where I used to use a calendar book. This has streamlined my business and saves me so much time.

### 5/5 — Excellent app and service

*2025-01-04*

We’ve been using Time To Pet for our dog and cats over the past five years, and they’ve been nothing short of amazing. Their attention to detail is spot-on, and the app makes scheduling, billing, and payments a breeze. They’re always on time and super reliable, which means the world to us. Plus, our pets absolutely adore them! If you’re looking for top-notch pet care with the convenience of a great app, we can’t recommend Time To Pet enough.

### 5/5 — Best Pet Sitting Portal

*2024-12-15*

This portal is incredibly user friendly. And if you have a question even if it is minor or complex their customer service is so nice and prompt. I have enjoyed my last ten years working with this portal. It is well organized. Sure something could be updated and adjusted to cater to some of the other reviews commentary but overall it’s pretty great. I highly recommend this portal to any pet sitting company for operations. It’s practical and affordable. I only suggest this to other professionals.

### 5/5 — The BEST

*2024-12-09, version 3.4.36*

This app is user friendly for both the business and the pet owners. It has provided so much peace of mind for all parties!

### 5/5 — This app saved me

*2024-11-03*

My business was growing and it was time to get more organized. Being a bit technology challenged I was afraid learning a new software would be overwhelming and challenging. Not true! The app is easy to navigate and has helped me tremendously with keeping track of everything. The customer care center has always been very friendly and helpful with any questions I may have. Highly recommend!

### 5/5 — Love TTP!

*2024-08-02, version v3.4.20*

I implemented this app in my small business one year ago, and I’m so happy I did! Only wish I had done it sooner. The support team is wonderful, and the app has made running my pet sitting business so much easier!!
