The daily recording for morning of March 22nd did not match reading. I could not find an easy in app way to contact app maker when I had a problem. These would be good items to improve. ### 3/5 — Less choice *2020-11-13* I am disappointed with the update. In the last version there were several different forms of intercession, now only two that I can see and not my favourites. Is there any chance of reverting to the original choices. I am referring to the time before we moved from All Saints to Advent ### 4/5 — Traditional language option? *2020-03-24* Lovely app, like the way it integrates the readings for the relevant day. Would it be possible to have a traditional language version, as is available on the website? There is a simple toggle switch on the Daily Prayer app which is great. ### 3/5 — Okay but. *2019-05-24* It’s a good app, but why isn’t “prayer during the day” included in the Daily Prayer app. After all, “night prayer” is in both. All Four sets of prayers would then be in the same place. Could also include an alarm reminder for set prayer times (perhaps to the sound of a monastery bell 😇) ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Why? *2026-03-30* I have tried this.It is stuck at November 2021 ### 1/5 — Night Prayers no longer sync with readings on the screen. *2023-08-28* The audio and text for “Night” no longer sync up to the psalms and other readings on screen. This started about a week or so ago. It was working properly for a long time but recently became out of sync. All setting are set to “default” and “Day” seems to be working fine. Please fix as I depend on this app daily. Thank You Very Much!! ### 1/5 — Frustrated *2020-11-16* My app for time to Pray changed without my knowing. My husband and I use the app daily. His did not change, and we are completely out of sync. No longer do I have the Saints days, I don’t have a collect and if I touch my screen it jumps to another day. Far too sensitive. Please fix! ### 2/5 — Stuck in 2021? *2026-05-25* Sadly I’ve just deleted the app as it wouldn’t update properly and got stuck on 1st November 2021. I tried several times to update, deleted it, and reinstalled it but sadly it wouldn’t work. At a clergy conference last week I met others in the same boat. Hope it can be fixed. But for some reason there are no dates after 24 May 2026 making it unusable at present. This Time To Pray app helps me follow my Anglican faith’s Daily Office as indicated, I believe, in the Book of Common Prayer. (I’m a new convert still learning, from a Baptist upbringing) In any case, the AUDIO in this wonderful application, allows me to hear and pray along and sing with the audio that is so powerful and inspiring and educational to me. I can’t possibly imagine being without this prayer companion. Thank you, all the developers and individuals responsible for keeping this prayer resource up and running for us!! Sorry but this is a fail. Since I wrote my big disappointments three years ago, I have got used to the absence of things I relied on. My husband and I use this most mornings: sometimes we read the prayers aloud and other times follow the audio which could be my favourite. The readers lead so well and the music is so apt. However we always turn back to praying the service together. Since the update I’ve tried again and love it! So simple and basic - two prayers, one for day, one for night, change daily, and I love love love the audio option. I can now listen and join in the responses, like I’m praying with someone else even when alone. It is the best way I have found to incorporate regular prayer into my daily life. The choice of scriptures and readings are the perfect springboard into my own further prayers. Likewise, whatever selections you make in Edit mode, don’t stay selected. Case in point: the Lord’s Prayer. If you choose the traditional form of this prayer, the audio still repeats the contemporary version, and even the selection doesn’t “stick”.
