I have no way of connecting any payment methods and I can’t add money to the wallet it just says ‘oops something went wrong’. It’s not very helpful when that’s the only way to pay for things. Developers, please tell me how to fix this so I can buy lunch! ### 2/5 — Ständig Logout *2025-06-25* Man wird regelmäßig rausgeschmissen und muss sich erneut anmelden. Das wäre nicht so schlimm, wenn man sich mit FaceId oder so einloggen könnte, aber man muss dafür seine Email eingeben und dann den Code aus der Email eintippen. There is no simple email validation check. The wait ad is a useless click and hunt for the button. Choose cafe does not remember. Location permission is not remembered. Closed food stations should be disabled. Remember card checkbox too close to submit ### 1/5 — Hardly works, ever *2025-02-16, version 3.95* Rewards for drinks rarely work. Dont autobot me requesting to contact a support address. Sort it out and this is an issue for everyone in the workplace. Wheres the rewards for use of service? Previous company had a points based system to receive free items as an incentive. Just as well the current staff are exceptional in their quality and attitude otherwise this group would not be operating at this location. ### 1/5 — Trash *2025-02-12, version 3.95* Time2Eat is an incredibly frustrating app to use. After installation, it frequently crashes, making it nearly impossible to navigate or complete any tasks. The recharge process is painfully slow, often taking an unreasonable amount of time to process payments. Additionally, the app's functionality is poorly designed and unclear, leaving users confused about how to use its features. The selection and page-turning mechanisms are particularly cumbersome, adding unnecessary hassle to the user experience. Overall, this app is a waste of time and effort. ### 1/5 — Worst App Ever *2024-12-19, version 3.91* Usability is a 0 Menuing is a 1 - you can pick stuff Functionality - 1 - if it works then ok you can order your food Payment - 1 - it does save your information but the clunky function of everything else makes me wonder about actual security. Security - 7 - my info has never been stolen and if the rest of the app worked better I would rate this higher ### 1/5 — Crash for login since recent update *2024-11-26, version 3.88* Please fix ### 1/5 — It crashed after I submitted verification code *2024-11-01, version 3.88* I uninstalled and reinstalled and it didn’t help. Frustrated ### 1/5 — Update ruined app *2024-10-28, version 3.88* Was a perfectly working app that served the simple task of ordering food in HSBC cafeterias. The latest update late this year made it slower and ruined payment speed by adding additional layers of verification. Nobody is paying for anything beyond like 60 HKD so all a wate of time to do this. ### 2/5 — Payment glitches *2024-09-23, version 3.83* The option for using Apple Pay regularly glitches on the Stripe payment screen, sometimes you can proceed as usual with a normal AP payment, others the Apple Pay button won’t appear at all. Pretty annoying bug. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — If I could give this zero, I would. *2026-06-01, version 4.50* Never rated something on Apple before, but I had to take the time to write this. As the other person said the UI on this app is abysmal and vouchers don’t work. The only qr code that works is the one for your profile, the one for individual rewards don’t work as I had to find out the hard way. Most of the time the add to basket function doesn’t work and I have to find some odd way around proceeding to payment. The most basic core functions are barely working. I would not recommend this app at all. ### 1/5 — Complete garbage *2026-05-11, version 4.49* This app and the system behind it is awful. Can’t use it to pay for so many things as they’ve not been added to the system. And so often the system is down completely and you can’t even earn free drinks, apparently a code has been emailed out that can be used to still earn the drinks but I’ve not received it. Scrap the app and go back to paper card that you put stamps on. ### 1/5 — Can’t Pay *2026-04-24, version 4.49* Firstly the app changed from ESS that worked well. I have added a payment method and when the QR code is scanned. No payment is taken so I then have to scan a payment separately. So all this app does is add points and not allow a payment. Most fustrating. ### 1/5 — Can’t issue new codes *2026-04-23* Tried to request code to verify. Received late exited in 5 min window and now no way to request new code. Result: I don’t order food anymore and go eating away from the canteen. ### 1/5 — Doesn’t even work *2025-07-17, version 4.19* Can’t place orders, and the app would often get itself in a redirect loop. ### 1/5 — Fix your bugs *2025-05-30, version 4.12* Screen freezies, profile cannot edit ### 1/5 — Poor UI and missing basic functionality *2025-03-31, version 3.99* After having moved around and used number of different school ordering systems, Time2Eat falls significantly short. The UI is a slow process, requiring multiple unnecessary steps - and that is before you consider having multiple children. Expected functionality is also missing such as saving Children’s name/class so you don’t have to enter everytime, the ability to edit orders is missing and order history is a hit and miss as to what it shows.
