## What is TimeCredit?

Digital Wellbeing & Parental Control: track your Zen Score and earn your Fun Time.

TimeCredit helps families and individuals build healthier digital habits with a simple idea: useful screen time can earn Fun Time, while distracting apps spend it.

No more endless arguments about screen time.
No more sudden blocks.
No more “just five more minutes”.

TimeCredit combines Digital Wellbeing and Parental Control in one private, offline app.

TWO CLEAR INDICATORS

Fun Time Credit™
Work, learning or productive apps can earn Fun Time Credit™.
Games, social media and entertainment apps can spend it.
You decide the rules.

Zen Score
Your Zen Score is a simple indicator from 0 to 5 based on device usage over your observation window. It helps you understand your digital balance at a glance.

WHAT YOU CAN DO

• View detailed app and iOS category usage statistics
• Understand where screen time is really spent
• Sort apps into Work, Fun, Monitored and Restricted
• Set daily limits and allowed time windows
• Protect settings with a secure Parent PIN
• Get gentle reminders before blocks
• Create screen-free moments, curfews and observances
• Keep everything private: no account, no ads, no tracking

FOUR SIMPLE CATEGORIES

Work
Learning, reading and productivity apps that can earn Fun Time Credit™.

Fun
Games, social media and entertainment apps that spend Fun Time Credit™.

Monitored
Apps you want to track without necessarily blocking.

Restricted
Apps you want to limit more strictly.

Set the rules once. TimeCredit applies them automatically.

GENTLE REMINDERS

TimeCredit can warn before a limit or screen-free period begins. Everyone gets time to finish up, making limits feel clearer and fairer.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.13 — 2026-10-12

Per-day rules and unlimited history
• Daily caps per weekday: 1h on Monday, 2h on Tuesday… each day gets its own limit.
• Extended credit window: compute your Fun Time Credit over days, calendar months, a year — or with no limit at all.
• Unlimited statistics: your history is now kept — the week and month views fill up over time.
• Browse screens even when locked: everything stays visible, a single PIN unlocks, and the home screen shows the lock state.
• Richer Zen Score in Stats: daily score, 30 min / 3 h reference lines and trend curves.
• Clearer alerts: warned ~5 min then ~1 min before every block — even without control, if you want.
• Improved measurement reliability and various fixes.

### 1.12 — 2026-08-12

• New home dashboard with Fun Time Credit™ and Zen Score
• Clearer Zen Score and Fun Time Credit™ details
• Lighter category summaries for today’s usage and remaining time
• Clearer wording across the app: selected apps, simpler labels and refined translations
• Interface polish and reliability improvements

### 1.11 — 2026-07-31

• Backup & recovery — Your data (credit, stats, time rules) is backed up so you can restore it after reinstalling. Optional encrypted iCloud backup covers lost or new devices. Your PIN is never backed up.
• Notes on manual credits — Record why you added or removed time ("tidied their room", "pocket money"). One-off or recurring, notes appear in the history.
• Shabbat practice — Choose your custom (Standard, Jerusalem, Rabbeinu Tam) or freely set candle-lighting and nightfall times.
• More flexible alerts — Three modes: never, only with control, or always.
• Privacy first — New "GDPR-compliant" badge.
• Reliability & polish — Fixes and improvements across all 19 languages.

### 1.10 — 2026-07-24

• Consistent credit everywhere — Home, Ledger, Stats and Widget now always show the exact same numbers. Changing the conversion rate never alters your past.
• Curfew & observances now end automatically at the scheduled time — no need to reopen the app.
• Daily observances (prayer, family meals, study time...) alongside weekly and yearly rules.
• Block a category — Set its daily limit to zero.
• Saved rule sets — "Holidays", "School time": switch your entire setup with one tap.
• Widget now available on all supported iPhones, with a bar matching the Home screen.

### 1.9 — 2026-07-22

• Saved rule sets — store your settings as "Holidays", "School term"… and switch in one tap.
• Fully automatic curfew — turns on and off by itself, on time.
• Block a category entirely — set a daily limit to 0.
• Daily observances — a slot that repeats every day (prayer, study, meditation…).
• More consistent Restricted apps.
• Widget now available on more iPhones.
