I've just slogged through trying out about two dozen different meditation timers, and this is the best I've found. Sometimes it's the simple things that are hardest to pull off well. This is one of the few timers that works properly in the background (most others don't keep running if you switch to a different app or crash or run as if they're playing a music track constantly, which means you can't play your own music separately). It's also cleanly designed with just enough features: has custom intervals, a list of different and beautiful sounds, and no bugs encountered yet. Providing a simple, nice free timer with no ads is a great way to get folks curious about the other services offered – without trying to nickel and dime everything. That feels like a humane and thoughtful business model befitting a meditation app that I feel positively drawn to support. (It's weird how many other meditation apps feel so scammy – not very meditative of them. 😆) ### 5/5 — Incredibly helpful app *2023-06-26, version 1.12.1* Timeless makes meditation so easy to do!
