## What is Timelo?

Which came first: the Eiffel Tower or Edison's light bulb? Timelo is a party game about history. Everyone builds their own timeline of events, from the Gutenberg Bible to the James Webb Space Telescope. You place each card by feel, so nobody has to know dates by heart.

The TV is the game board and everyone's phone is a controller. Guests join by scanning a QR code and play in their phone's browser, so they don't have to install anything. Play with 2 to 16 players. No TV handy? The phones show the board instead.

HOW TO PLAY
1. Create a table in the app to get a table code.
2. Put the board on your TV: cast it with Chromecast, open the Timelo app on Apple TV, or go to timelo.tv/tv in the browser on any TV or laptop.
3. Guests scan the QR code on the screen, type their name and snap a selfie.
4. The Storyteller reads an event aloud, and the player whose turn it is taps the spot where it fits on their timeline.
5. The board reveals the year and a fun fact. Guess right and you keep the card. The first player to collect the target number of cards wins.

THE STORYTELLER
He runs the game like a game show host. He welcomes everyone, explains the rules, reads every card aloud, comments on each move and announces the winner. He speaks English, Polish, German and Spanish, and everything he says appears as subtitles on the board.

NATURAL-SOUNDING TTS VOICE
The Storyteller speaks in natural-sounding text-to-speech (TTS), with the intonation, pauses and laughs you'd expect from a professional narrator. We wrote every line for Timelo ourselves and checked every recording before it went into the game.

BLITZ
Every few turns, the whole table plays the same card at once. Everyone picks a year on a slider, and the closest guess wins the card.

OVER 500 EVENTS
Inventions, discoveries, sports, pop culture and big moments from around the world. Every reveal comes with a fun fact about the event.

SELFIES ON THE BOARD
Snap a selfie when you join, and your face shows up in the opening credits, on your timeline and on the podium. Photos are kept only in the table's memory and deleted when the table closes.

THE HOST SETS THE RULES
The person who creates the table chooses:
- the target, from 3 to 20 cards
- the time limit for each turn
- how often Blitz comes up
- whether a missed card passes to the next player
The host can also remove or ban a player from the table.

FREE TRIAL VERSION
Timelo is free to download, and the trial is free to play as often as you like: 100 events from the World Classics deck and shorter games, with no limit on players. The full game with over 500 events is a one-time purchase. No subscription, no ads. Only the person who creates the table pays. Guests play free.

Timelo needs an internet connection. Guests' phones don't have to be on the same Wi-Fi. For Chromecast, the host's phone and the TV need to be on the same network.
