However, as of right now, with the most up-to-date iOS running, photos and videos can no longer be uploaded to the app. This negates the whole purpose of having it! This is a serious bug that needs to be rectified immediately, especially for those of us who use the pro version of this app. We pay to have it, and yet cannot use it. Please, please, please fix. Else we will be forced to look elsewhere for our storage needs, and nobody wants that. ### 3/5 — It’s good safety gallery but *2018-07-14* Hello app team, there is some problem in the app i hope you improve it next update: 1: add feature delete pictures or videos from gallery after import it to the app , so you don’t need to search in the gallery to delete it manually. 2: make it more flexible when you want to choose import more files. 3: add more choices to view or arrangement files that stored in the app. Thanks great team. Best regards. ### 3/5 — good enough *2017-10-08* The clock based code doesn’t let me move the second hand to set the last two digits, therefore I had to leave it the default 00. PDF and Text files stored in the app are not readable, I have to export them somewhere which now is no longer secure. The app needs to have at least a simple text or PDF viewer inside. I was able to fool the app to copy my text file into a ‘note’ and serve the main purpose of secure text. ### 3/5 — Great *2015-05-07, version 1.0.5* This app is perfect for private files. It works as intended and extremely easy to use and to figure it out. Under a minute and it's all done. The user interface is really nice and discreet. Recommended. ### 2/5 — Pls don't change file quality! *2014-10-22, version 1.0.4* This app would be great but is currently useless as it saves my photos at different resolutions and quality than they were imported. Please fix it so I can save my files as they were originally! If they fix this the app deserves 5 stars. ### 2/5 — Picture taking sound means trouble *2014-08-07* UPDATE: also noticed that pictures are reduced in size and they loose all the EXIF information (this can be seen when exported).This takes another star. The app is really complete and I see good value on storing other content that photos or video like private notes. The interface is ok although not that intuitive at times. What I think is a big flaw is the Intruder detection system. Basically if you put the passcode in and it's not correct it will take a picture from the front camera of whoever attempted to unlock the app. While this feature is great, the implementation is not as it makes the typical shutter sound, letting know the intruder that his/her photo was taken. At this point the intruder may very well decide to remove the app or even disappear the iPhone knowing he's been discovered. Other apps allow taking the picture with no sound so it can be done. Another improvement would be that the picture is saved with the EXIF information , like date and time and also location. Exporting this picture to the camera roll other tools can let visualize that relevant information. ### 3/5 — Perplexed *2014-08-04* How are you going to have an app who's selling point is secrecy - masquerading as an alarm clock - yet it's titled "Hide photos+ p..."?? You spend all this energy to pull off this hoax, then announce it's function with a self explanatory title?? Preposterous. Maybe the title changes to "Clock" with an inapp purchase? 3 stars for that fact alone. When it shows up on my iphone/ipad and within my app center "purchased" list as something other that "hide photos", I'll change to the 5 stars for the programming. After I upgraded to iOS 12 nothing worked and every time I tried to enter my passcode it automatically shuts down. I bought the pro version thinking it would help but it does the same thing. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Nothing makes any sense to me so far with playing with it for a day now,and I've been using computers for 30 years. Most of the “security” apps which capture and secure files only keep them inside in the app (means they may be retrieved with phone and iPad unlock and file viewing with forensic software - software which may be purchased on the internet. This app, however, actually stores AND encrypts the files. My wish list would include more control over video playback. File system inflexible, pics and video placed in date named folders and you can't move them around and combine or split folders. AES 256 bit encryption boasted is good. I assume key is based on a hash of the four digit clock based pw. Optional fingerprint opening activates the same pw? Most picture vault apps don't make note if any encrypting is used and may just kinda hide the app data folder. Wish app name was bit more stealthy to casually appear as another alarm clock app. ### 4/5 — Works well *2014-08-03* Consider making a digital clock and entry system.
