Used it religiously for work and came to rely on it heavily. Upgraded by accident to the new one and it wiped out everything I had setup and attempts to setup new tasks causes the app to crash. Haven’t even gotten to the point of trying to actually use it but I’m skeptical it is going to be stable. The old app was not broken so why mess with it? SMH ### 2/5 — Great App *2026-02-21, version 2.3.1* UPDATE; as of ios 26…..it is now crashing on startup….but seems to still work…..but getting scary, as i don’t want to lose my data. Tried most apps similar to this and this is the most intuitive. Been using it for years.👍 ### 4/5 — Recent change *2024-05-21, version 2.3.1* I find it much more difficult to use now as there is not the ability to do two things at once. And a lot of us who are time conscious can do two things at once, for an example, walking and learning a language, at the same time, knitting and studying and many many more so I find it a bit frustrating to only be able to log one thing at a time. I have enjoyed this app for a very long time until the recent changes. I’m finding it a little bit difficult. ### 4/5 — Almost perfect *2023-04-10, version 2.3.1* Very useful app for time tracking. The UI looks clean and the information is useful. It’s great to keep track of my multiple tasks/projects/clients. I wish there was a way to manually enter hours instead of having to use the time clock though. For someone who has freelanced for over 5 years now, discovering this app this year, was a great 2020 moment. Time logger has my favorite display for time spent, and the addition of $$ makes it a good time tracker for personal and business. It also has great intuitive UX! Not to mention the other features listed here. Get the premium and you won’t regret it! ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Crashing on sync. *2026-07-28, version 2.3.1* This app has not been updated in years….When it tries to sync to the cloud it CRASHES!! This was the best time tracker….now is not trustworthy! Please update!!! ### 1/5 — New standard in apples app store *2025-03-30, version 2.3.1* This app still does that bare minimum of what it’s supposed to do, but like most companies this one seems to have thought a subscription service was gonna work. I paid for this app just for them to stop updating it in favor of a “plus” version that stops getting regular updates a year later. Lol ### 1/5 — Doesn’t work properly *2021-12-31, version 2.3.0* Keeps erasing my time record after saying can’t sync to iCloud even though I have it turned off. ### 1/5 — Lost all my tracked hours *2021-12-11, version 2.2.9* I opened the app for the first time after the updating to iOS 15.1 and it had a message about a change in my iCloud account. When I checked, the iCloud option was disabled. I enabled it but when I checked my hours, I had lost everything recorded for the past couple months. So frustrating. If there is a way to backup, I wish it would have automatically backed up periodically. ### 1/5 — Bug deleted all Data *2021-11-02, version 2.2.9* The App itself is nice to use and visualizes the data quite nice. However, a Bug lead to all my data being lost. Even having used iCloud sync didn‘t help anything. I was too lazy to change the app, and the same bug occured again, just two days later, again deleting the data of the last two days. ### 1/5 — Lost all archived tasks for no reason *2021-06-30, version 2.2.9* Opened the app and it told me due to an iCloud change my tasks changed too. IDK. But I did not change anything iCloud or related to this app. ### 1/5 — Nice but with bugs *2020-11-25* This app is full of features but some days seem to be deleted and loose tracked time. Sync issue? Update: now I m loosing previous week hours. Serious bug here **Developer response:** Hi Stephane, thanks for your review. I am sorry about this inconvenience. I will investigate this situation. In the meantime, if you still have these problems please try the new Plus version. You can import your content into that version through a backup file that you can generate from the Options screen. However in my opinion those apps are somewhat bloated and have lost focus of what is really important. For me it is the ease of use as I do not want to spend more time working on the tracking app than working for customers. This app has all I need. Simply start a new task - assign it to a group (if desired) and press the timer start button. There also is a notes field where you can write some more infos. The reporting system is fantastic and can generate a pdf with all relevant data. Export as .csv is also possible. Thanks to the developer for selling such a great app at a very low price. ### 5/5 — Best timelogger app if you embrace apples ecosystem *2020-11-23, version 2.2.9* Packed with features, works really well on all devices. UI looks nice, you can gain a lot of insights from the data displayed. The workflow is sometimes not as easy as I hope (sometimes I have to push more buttons than I’d like), but compared to other apps it is still acceptable. Sync between devices is fast and pretty reliable. There is no sync to other services than iCloud; You are stuck with it, or export CSV files manually every so often. I’ve tried other apps to benefit from their better cross-platform support, but have always gone back to this app for some reason or another. Great work and excellent product! ### 5/5 — This is the best time tracker app *2020-09-01, version 2.2.9* I love that you have the option of setting it so that when you turn on a timer, it turns off all the others. The interface is very convienent. It allows you to group projects and add notes for each block of time recorded so you can keep notes on what that time was spent doing. Not to mention the app has 3D touch support and nice widget. Perfect.
