Meetings, flights, classes, medication—your calendar is full of moments that matter, and a notification is easy to miss. Timely turns your events into real system alarms that take over the screen and ring loud, so you show up on time.

Alarms that actually ring
- Rings through Silent mode and Focus. These are system alarms, not notifications.
- Nothing to keep open. Set an alarm and close the app. It still rings.
- No ads. No account to create. No subscription.
- Any date, weeks ahead: arm an event on your calendar, or set your own alarm for any day and time.

What Timely does
- One-tap event alarms: Browse your upcoming events grouped by calendar and arm an alarm with one tap.
- Heads-up alarms (Pro): A second alarm rings ahead of an event—5, 10, 15, 30 or 60 minutes, or a day before. It says when the event really starts, and a countdown runs on your Lock Screen until then. The alarm at the start always stays, so dismissing a heads-up can never cost you the event.
- Custom alarms: Standalone alarms for anything, one-off or repeating on the days you choose, with optional snooze.
- Lock Screen countdown: Have any alarm count down on your Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island, from 5 minutes to an hour before it rings.
- Live countdowns: See how long is left in the event you're in, and how long until the next one.
- Send an alarm in Messages: Share an alarm or an event countdown in a conversation. The other person adds it to their own Timely with a tap, and it rings on their phone for real. Sharing is free.
- Make an alarm from any text: Select something like "Dentist Thursday at 2:30pm" in Notes or any app that shares text, share it to Timely, and get a filled-in alarm to confirm. Works best with English dates and times.
- Your alarms come back: Reinstall the app or set up a new phone and your alarms are still there, restored through your own iCloud.
- Siri & Shortcuts: Say "Set an alarm in Timely" or "Show my alarms in Timely"—full phrase list in Settings.
- Smart search: Find events by title, calendar, or date.

Timely Alarms is amazing and has been a lifesaver for me. I get overwhelmed managing tasks, appointments, and events, but this app helps me stay organized and makes sure I do not miss important reminders. I love that it can turn calendar events into real alarms and that I can also create custom alarms for anything I need to remember. It is easy to use, reliable, and makes daily life much less stressful. Highly recommend!

### 3.1 — 2026-09-20

Heads-up alarms (Pro)
Get a second alarm ahead of an event: 5, 10, 15, 30 or 60 minutes before, or the day before. The heads-up tells you when the event really starts, a countdown runs on your Lock Screen until then, and the alarm at the start always stays. Turn it on in Settings. This replaces "ring 1–3 minutes early"; if you used that, you now have a 5-minute heads-up.

Fixed: countdown alarms rang late
An alarm with a Lock Screen countdown rang late by the length of its countdown—a 9:00 alarm with a 15-minute countdown rang at 9:15. It now counts down to the time you set and rings on time. Alarms you already have are corrected the first time you open this version.

Also in this update
- Reschedule a one-off event you've armed and its alarm moves with it the next time Timely is open.
- Making an alarm from text selected in Notes now works.
- The custom alarm form explains that heads-ups are for calendar events, and tells you when an event starts too soon for one.
- All new wording is translated in all nine languages, and two untranslated Settings labels are fixed.

In case you missed them in 3.0
- Send an alarm or an event countdown in Messages. The other person adds it to their Timely with a tap.
- Select text like "Dentist Thursday at 2:30pm" anywhere, share it to Timely, and get a filled-in alarm.

- Calendar filtering is no longer Pro-only. Everyone can filter to one calendar; Pro combines as many as you like.
- Fixed alarms going silent after a calendar account resynced—an alarm could be left running that the app could no longer show or cancel.
