Need to be able to see how much is made per day and per pay period (weekly, biweekly, semi monthly, etc) and then this would be an easy 5 star app and $8 iAP made. There are some issues between apple watch and ios. Stopping counter in apple watch makes ios banner notification hang there unless restart and stop time on ios to stop it. However, it’s a pity that there is no German version available. Having the app in German would make it much easier and more accessible for many users. I hope a German translation will be added in the future. ### 4/5 — My Go-To for Time Tracking: Almost.... *2025-08-19, version 1.4.1* The time tracking function, which is its foundation, works as well as it could work as a third party app compared to native iOS apps. However, the only gripe I have about this app is its Live Activities widget.... Typically, with just about every time tracking app that I have used over the years, the apps that have Live Activities typically have one thing in common: When you start a timer, the Live Activity banner shows up, and when you finish your time tracking session, and you stop the timer, the Live Activity banner disappears. However, this app continues to display the Live Activity after the timer is stopped, which is very, very annoying. At the very least, I would prefer that the Live Activity be turned off after a timer is stopped. However, what could make this much more useful is this: Once the timer is stopped, just show the total time for today (and also show this on the Watch, as a complication!). That way, the end user can see at a glance how much time was spent during the course of the day instead of having to access the iPhone in order to find out that total..... Secondly: It appears the developer has stopped taking the time to consistently update the app, as it has been over a year since the last update. If more frequent updates are made to the app, that would give me some confidence in knowing/recognizing that the owner of this app actually cares about making this app better, which would further incentivize people to actually go ahead and purchase the app, and stick with it. ### 3/5 — Ganz okay, aber definitiv ausbaufähig... *2025-07-29* ✅ Pros: - Einmalkauf, keine Abos - Einfache Bedienung - Cloud Synchronisation - Backups - Feinjustierungen wie "Zeiten aufrunden" oder "alles unter X Minuten verwerfen" ❌ Cons 1. keine Templates möglich... Gleiche Aufgaben, die einen neuen Projekt zugewiesen werden sollen, muss man immer jedes Mal aufs Neue neu/ manuell erstellen. Keine Templates möglich... 2. Nichtmal das einfache duplizieren einer Aufgabe oder eines Ordners ist möglich... 3. Unnötige Sidebar. Die Sidebar kann nicht eingeklappt werden, aber es können auch keine Aufgabe/ Ordner für einen schnellen Zugriff abgepinnt werden...what's the point? 4. Meckern auf hohem Niveau: Menschen, die gerne mal den "Dark Mode" aktivieren, werden schnell merken, dass die IOS App unangenehm hervorsticht, da sie sich den Apple nativen hell/Dunkel Modi nicht anpasst...kann man mit leben, visuell trotzdem nervig. ### 4/5 — Overall Excellent *2025-06-19, version 1.4.1* Excellent app overall. An idea for improvement: The app could be improved by adding a recently deleted folder which allows recovery of a deleted task. It can be very easy to accidentally delete a task which removes all the important time data that was associated with it. Now severe syncing issues with significant dataloss and no response from support. ### 4/5 — Mac at 90% - Mobile at 50% *2025-01-23, version 1.4.1* Can’t live without my Timemator for Mac! Though it still needs some work (eg. you should be able to simply drag to copy a section to another time slot). For iPhone and iPad not the same experience by far though which is unfortunate. Examples: On the iPhone you can’t pinch to zoom in and out on the timeline. So if you’re tracking 15 minute or even half hour increments (never mind smaller) you can’t even see them!! One more: the adding new tasks pop up is fixed, not scrollable, so if you have more than a few task “categories” you cannot get to them! And support is virtually nonexistent which is too bad because this is a great app!! My 4-star review is to be considered a friendly nudge to the developer (for iOS should have been a 2-star review)… ### 3/5 — Too many bugs *2025-01-19, version 1.4.1* Lots of potential, too many bugs. I encountered a couple of bugs within the first 30 mins playing with the app for some basic functions like ending a tracking. Build quality is a bit disappointing ### 5/5 — Great app👍 *2024-10-30, version 1.4.1* I really enjoy your Timemator app. I appreciate how well-designed and thoughtfully crafted it is. Everything is optimized for ease of use, and the app offers attractive and insightful statistics. I also have some suggestions for improving the product. I’ve noticed a few issues and have some feedback that I believe could significantly enhance the user experience. 1. It would be great to add an option to display time logs directly within the main iCloud calendar. 2. In the mobile version, unlike the desktop version, I don’t see an automatic breakdown of where and in which apps time is being spent. 3. It would be useful to add a task entry feature similar to Toggl, where a button lets you start tracking with the option to add tasks and folders. Ideally, when entering a task, any previously recorded details would auto-fill. 4. Adding a widget, like the one in ATracker Pro, with buttons to quickly start time tracking for various tasks would be helpful. If it’s a brand new task, it could have a “+” sign for adding a new entry on the fly. 5. The “Add notes” window in the session view on iOS could be a bit larger (similar to ATracker Pro), as it currently only shows part of the text while typing, making it harder to review and edit descriptions. 6. Notifications on iOS sometimes display incorrect information, showing time logs from old tasks that are already completed. It doesn’t consistently display current tasks, which are often hidden or overridden by finished entries. ### 3/5 — Buona app da rifinire *2024-10-13, version 1.4.1* Utilizzo questa app da qualche mese e sono nel complesso soddisfatto. Consiglierei di aggiungere una stringa di ricerca delle attività per evitare di doverle sempre cercare scorrendole una ad una. Quando diventano molte è utile averla. Consiglierei inoltre di poter svolgere due compiti contemporaneamente, perché a volte mi succede. The app is kinda awful, and just keeps getting worse. Live tracking is a joke, the sync is a joke. Entries silently disappear— I’ve lost so much data. The developer never responds to support requests but has time to report App Store reviews. The data corruption is a serious problem. It’s because the sync is buggy. I deleted years of entires because the app couldn’t handle the size of the db anymore. They’ve all reappeared in my phone (they weee gone for works) and now one of the tasks sync between desktop and mobile. It creates new tasks on mobile so I have the same task listed twice. I added those same entries back in, and then noticed about 10 minutes later, Timemator automatically deleted them again. So I looked back over the last month, and noticed I have a lot less time entries than I know there should be. I shared this with the developer, shared a screen recording showing entries getting deleted without any interaction, and shared logs from the app. The developer never responded. This was over 3 months ago. I have no idea how much money this app has cost me, from it silently wiping out entries. ### 1/5 — Well before you run. *2024-06-01, version 1.4.0* You are a multiple b/millionaire company now that you associate with SetApp, yet the basics don’t work. Customer support is non existent and every time I post a review, the developer gets it deleted. Qualche giorno fa ha cominciato a crashare in avvio sul Mac. Ho provato a contattare lo sviluppatore via Twitter e via e-mail, senza mai ottenere risposta. Da quanto leggo non sembro il primo ad avere notato questo problema con il supporto che non sembra curarsi minimamente della sua utenza. Se il problema verrà risolto e il supporto risponderà personalmente ed adeguatamente alla mia e-mail, cambierò volentieri la valutazione a 5 stelle perché l’app le merita tutte. I downloaded like 5 other apps & was trying to like them. Then - I stumbled upon a single Reddit comment mentioning this one. I downloaded it & it was love at first tap. Visually, it meshes with my ADHD brain. I tried to like Toggl but the lack of color options was hard. Also - the other apps had smaller timers. Timemator has a visually uncluttered display, a bold timer that stands out & commands my attention. I LOVE the auto tracking on the Mac that syncs with my phone & Apple Watch. Lastly, YOU CAN JUST BUY IT ONCE!!! No subscription!! Note that you do have to buy it separately for your Mac & iPhone. Maybe add the ability to add more than one task to the widget. - Save time tracked to native calendar app - More color customization for tasks I like how you have folders and integrated shortcuts. Tout est bien faut et optimisé pour suivre son temp. La fonction qui manquerait à la limite, et que j’aimais chez orbit, c’est le fait de créer une facture avec l’appli direct pour une tâche précise.
