Need an extra timer in the kitchen? Forgot how many hours you worked today? When did you last replace that air-filter? Timers is a simple utility that allows you to create multiple count-down and count-up timers. Create them and start them immediately or save them for later. I use this app all the time to keep track of consulting time at work, and also in the kitchen to time entrees and side dishes; but there are so many other great ways to use it too.

Get it today and keep better time!

### 5/5 — Very Nice Timer

*2016-06-07*

This is an excellent product. Best Count up timer I've found.
Thanks !!!

### 3/5 — Much better than the clock app's timer

*2012-02-17*

This is a great application if you need more than one timer. However, the alarm doesn't stop immediately when you reset it, so long alarms like the "air raid" keep ringing.

### 1/5 — Good start, but only a start

*2010-05-11*

The list renders a little funny with more than a few timers.

The start/pause buttons on the timer list screen are too small to tap reliably.

A simple but huge improvement would be to replace the "Action" icon with an Edit button and avoid the redundant confirmation. Of course, if the intention was to later add other actions such as email, then I would probably opt for a second button if possible, to make it as simple as can be to get at the nice timer editing features of this app, like detailed note keeping and other handy settings. Also, why not enter edit screen from main screen via Edit > Tap timer...?

Could definitely use more alarm sounds; in particular, the stock and custom tones would be the best.

Counting elapsed time since countdown expired would be very handy, as would counting numbers of loops, for that matter.

You can, however, edit the time of count-up timers, which is a nice feature missing in most timer apps

Oh, yeah, and the swipe to change timers in detail screen is pretty sweet.

### 2/5 — Audio alarms don't work on itouch.

*2009-06-28*

I knew I was taking a risk when I bought it but didn't see anything denying that the audio alarms might work. They don't. I have a timer that does make sounds on my itouch, but I wanted to find something that might work while I was using another app. Call me stupid. I usually draw the line at 99 cents.

### 1/5 — no alert sounds

*2009-03-23*

I tried this app a few different ways, including having only Timers running and displayed, but I could not figure out how to get any alert sounds to play ... tried all the sounds, in case one was just glitchy, but no luck. Turned off and restarted iPhone, synced again (multiple times) etc., but nothing worked.

### 2/5 — Drains battery too quickly

*2009-01-27*

I got this app to track my time at work, how long running errands took, etc, but after using it for about 2 hours, it had drained over a third of the battery. In the description it says "won't dim the screen", etc, but it also says that the author uses it to track consulting time at work, so I figured that it could handle timing activities for multiple hours at a time. I was wrong.

It's still a nice app for short, recurring timings, or timing things where I can leave the iPod plugged into power, but it's not useful for long durations.

### 3/5 — Adequate but clumsy; missing functions

*2009-01-27*

Timers provides a functional way to track the duration (down or up) of multiple named, described events. While the interface is clean it is not terribly intuitive and is clumsier than the timing features of the built-in clock. For example, when an event expires an alarm sounds--but only within Alarms or the next time you run Alarms. Further resetting the same alarm takes multiple taps and screens--and about 5 seconds. (In fact the whole app is a bit loggy on my 1st gen iTouch.) No lap timer feature is provided--a definite miss. You can, however, view the current status of all of your alarms (active or no) simultaneously. A little bit of tweaking, interface clean-up, and some added functionality would take this "guess it'll have to do" app and put it into a whole nother category.

### 3/5 — almost great...

*2009-01-26*

This timer has nice functionality, except that if you go to another app, the timer continues to count down, BUT... the alarm does not sound at the finish? THAT would make it much better!!!

### 1/5 — As long as it's open

*2009-01-22*

I set a kitchen timer and this simultaneously. I got an e-mail on my phone and had to deal with it, returned to the Home screen. When the kitchen timer went, this app was silent. Useless.
Now it's uninstalled, and I regret the money wasted.

### 5/5 — Really Useful

*2009-01-09*

Extremely useful to ensure my entire day is performed in the most efficient way possible. Including my commute, my lunch break, my workout, my beat planting. I don't know what I would do without it.
