It has improved some since we know can read USA TODAY and other papers that Gannett/MediaNewsGroup owns. I would love it if the newspaper would print articles every now and then from NewYorkTimes news service and TheWashingtonPost news service. It gets really boring only getting AP,USANETWORK. IT WOULD ALSO BE NICE IF A FEW MORE COMICS WERE ADDED. I’m sure this is not even going to be considered because it would cost more. I’m sure you won’t publish this. Anyway think you for your time. July 18,2021 ### 2/5 — Late news *2021-04-10, version 6.4.0* If you like news that is not updated but about every 4 days this is the app. ### 2/5 — Problems with iOS 14.0 for iPad *2020-09-19, version 5.25.1* Since updating my operating system on my 10.5 inch iPad Pro to iOS 14.0, this app has become difficult to use. As I progress further and further into an edition, the pages load more slowly, often times taking thirty seconds or more to load. If I try to scroll before the page finishes loading, the app crashes. I have not seen this behavior in a very long time. The way the deaths are report is somewhat confusing. I click on subscribe and it says already subscribed. But will not let me view ad. ### 1/5 — MSU Sports *2025-12-07, version 8.6.0* We have a vibrant university in Wichita Falls. However, when it comes to sports, there is never any mention of MSU athletics in the sports section. There’s always plenty of Texas Tech sports in your sports but never ever Midwestern State. The last time I checked, Lubbock is not local. I realize that Jonathan Hull is a one man show but I do believe he could reach out to the MSU athletic department for things going on in sports. Yesterday, the MSU men’s soccer team secured a place in the Final Four of the NCAA D2 Men’s Soccer Championship but I would be willing to bet there won’t be any mention of it in the paper. Nick Gholson would be rolling over in his grave at the lack of mention of MSU athletics in the sports section. I also subscribe to the Bowie News & there is more mention of MSU sports in their paper than yours. Your coverage of Midwestern State in other manners is well covered in the news section. Please do better in the sports department. It’s a travesty that this paper doesn’t do better in covering the local college in sports. Actually it wasn’t - it was sad, disgusting and how embarrassing for this paper. Just flat out lies. Shane on you. Secondly the political cartoons and most of your political editorials are disgusting, lying, despicable pieces of trash. Again you should be ashamed. Third the paper has a lack of truthful, intelligent reporting. I dropped you years ago but my 90 year old mother enjoys reading the paper but the last year or so she just gets more disgusted with your hatred, disrespect, and dishonesty over reporting anything that has to do with President Trump, politics and this virus. Fourth it is time to shut down your “news paper status” and rebrand yourself as one of the new tabloid papers. (I don’t care about sports). The local news stories are left for weeks. The man charged with the Target robbery has been the for awhile. News is the word!!! However I’m still paying. Maybe something is better than nothing. I check the obits. I now only have a digital subscription so I depend on it to be up-to-date. I think most things get updated routinely. However, obituaries are my mobile device are updated. I have re-booted & have sent messages & still the obits are out-of-date. Obituaries on my device are 2 weeks old.
