Can get many apps that do the same for free. ### 1/5 — Do NOT update - Do NOT buy *2014-06-12, version 2.0* If you bought this, and the other math apps, due to the ‘cool’ design - Do NOT update. Unfortunately Apple does not show you the look when it gives you the update message. [So you won’t be reading this.] If your thinking about buying… there is no new ‘radical’ redesign. Well… it is radical, but not in a good way. It basically took any design element and stripped it out… leaving white background and some text. If that is ‘modern’ - well, I for sure do not want it. I know people who actually bought it due to the cool factor of the old design. This whole, ios7 look - there is a reason Steve J. hired Steve F. for GUI design. As people stated, ios7 was basically copying what was already out there - not leading the way, like they used to. With this ‘new’ ‘design’, Im sure there are other apps out there that look better and will keep your attention. Otherwise, just get some blank flash cards. ### 3/5 — multiplications *2013-02-02* this app is ok but their should be major improvements in the design. i think that for me selecting'keypad'the keys r too small and with the whole robot theme looks boring. it doesnt give me a good feeling when i see the whole dark kind of outerspace theme. i want to get a brightness background which gives me a feeling that i have achieved something. ### 4/5 — Useful *2013-08-01, version 1.4* I like that there are different modes of practice and testing, and especially like that you can choose what part of the times table you'd like to work on (1x, 2x, 3x..). I use it with my tutoring students and it's great for quick quizzes. ### 5/5 — Top of the class *2015-02-05* Pulled my 10 year old boy and 8 year old girl out of maths tuition after I realised that they hadn't even learnt their timetables yet. They weren't progressing nor enjoying it that much either. Download this app and they loved it. It makes learning maths so much fun and now they are top of their class and making excellent progress. Now I funnel the tuition money into rewarding them for their progress. Fantastic app. ### 5/5 — looks great and very useful !!!!!! *2014-06-13* just posted a review on the number bonds app site and wanted to leave it here too as the same things apply with this tables app, "Great update, loving the new look to this app. No complaints from my kids and they use it most nights. We did like the old robot, but love the new apple desktop theme just as much. My son is hooked and he's not overly keen on maths to say the least! It has everything- great graphics, lots of settings options, timers and even performance statistics. The app just needs to have a place to actually write out the problems because that is an essential to memorizing things for a lot of people. The app also needs to be able to document more people's progress and document them better.
