### 5/5 — Simple and very functional

*2019-09-27*

This app is genius in simplicity and design. I have to organize calls between The US, Europe and Latin America And this app does it flawlessly. No complexity it just does it right. Love the UI!!

The app hasn’t been updated for 3 years but still works. I hope the developers continue supporting it. I am more than happy to have paid the $.1.99 for it.

### 5/5 — The No.1 App on my iPhone XS Max

*2019-03-27*

The simplicity of Time Scroller belies a really useful and functional app. It is flexible, intuitive and works in a number of useful configuration. It is quite simply an app I install on all my phones and use with daily frequency. But please, update it for use on Apples’ new XS and XS Max phones. It’s looking a little tired with all that unused real estate on the new bigger iPhone screens. Even with that it’s a solid 5 stars!

### 5/5 — Great app

*2019-01-06*

Found this app via OSX widget years ago. Very good if getting a bit dated.

### 5/5 — Perfect app, nearly identical to the widget.

*2017-11-22*

I’ve used TimeScroller on my Mac for years. Having it on my phone is fantastic. Great value for the price.

### 5/5 — Love it

*2017-08-10*

This is still the best app, I use it for years, it's perfect for airline pilots and travelers. Hope it will work under iOS 11

**Developer response:** Hi Capt. Bruno, thank you for taking the time to review, I really appreciate it. FYI, an update is not too far off, but I have tested the version 2.8 that you are using with the iOS11 beta, and all appears to be working without issue.

### 5/5 — Great App For Pilots

*2017-07-12*

One of the few that displays GMT offset as well as Daylight or Standard time on one screen as well as GMT.

### 5/5 — Best way to figure out timezones!!!

*2016-01-25*

This app has been out for years but nothing has beaten it for simplicity and clarity. Will I be able to be awake for an event at 9am PST? In a few taps I can see that, no, I won't be awake at 4am. At least I hope not.

### 5/5 — Simple, easy, it just works

*2015-01-12*

The simple interface makes this the most usable time zone app in my experience. The scroller makes figuring out meeting times for global conference calls a snap. I hope the developer continues to support and upgrade this app. Great job!

### 5/5 — Fantastic app

*2014-10-30*

I use this about 20 times a day to schedule cross-time zone meetings and it's absolutely perfect in every way.

### 5/5 — Great For Scheduling!

*2014-05-25, version 2.7*

This application is very useful for scheduling. The interface is slick and easy to use. The recent updates really improved the app!

### 5/5 — Exactly what I needed to see what time it is there, in relation to here.

*2013-04-21*

I have clients all over the world. Scheduling a meeting gets to be confusing.

Even just having a way to quickly find out what time it is for someone who's called me is helpful.

This app is just what I needed, and I'm very glad I bought it.

### 5/5 — Blissfully easy to use

*2013-03-12*

This app is a joy to use. It does one thing, and does it very very well.

### 5/5 — Very useful!

*2013-02-16*

Very useful for frequent int'l callers and communicators. It would be even better to have real earth-like fancy view as an optional view for astro fans.

### 5/5 — Love this app

*2013-01-08*

I have been using the free OSX widget for years. More than happy to pay for the equally useful brilliant iPhone app.

### 5/5 — Incredibly useful

*2012-11-24, version 2.06*

On my home screen. Very thoughtful UI too.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — It can't tell time.

*2011-01-06, version 2.05*

I just screwed up two meetings by relying on this app. I have screen shots with los angeles and Tokyo are 12 hours different, unfortunately they are really 16 hours different. My meetings had different errors - can't trust it.

### 3/5 — A great relic.

*2014-01-17*

Very good app I use this extensively. It's just left to rust by the developer. It is unattended, it's a shame that other hardworking devs haven't thought of doing similar one that's kept with the times.

### 3/5 — Good app!

*2010-07-11, version 0*

Love it! My only regret is that it only does time on the hour

### 4/5 — Time scroller.

*2021-12-26, version 2.9*

Real 😎

### 4/5 — Great app, wish there was an iPad version too

*2020-11-18*

I use this for all my international meeting scheduling. It handles daylight savings in various regions with ease too.
I do wish that there was an iPad version of it, as seeing the screen transform into a rotated & pixelated iPhone screen simulation when launching it on my iPad in landscape mode is both inconvenient and annoying.

### 4/5 — Super useful

*2015-09-12, version 2.7*

If you need to coordinate across time zones, this is the app to do it. Wish there was an iPad version!

### 4/5 — A great little app

*2014-06-10*

Meets a real need simply and elegantly. More useful that "world clocks" that only show what the time is now. Great for people needing to make contact with folk in other time zones and want to do so at reasonable times.

### 4/5 — No Shenzhen?

*2012-10-11, version 2.06*

Nice little app. Expensive at 2$. And missing Shenzhen? seriously?

### 4/5 — The biz!

*2011-09-20*

I, like the previous reviewer used to have to scramble around google for a time sync too. Not anymore, one of the few apps that do exactly what 'says on the tin'

The only thing I would like is the ability to type in the time at the rope and see the times in the countries I have chosen below... Then it would be a complete app

Still cool though, if you need to sync with far off countries can save a lot of time... Cheers

### 4/5 — Needs a little refinement

*2011-04-25*

A nice, simple, and elegant way to handle time across time zones. It seems to get the time calculations right, in the limited testing I've done. Very handy for quickly figuring out time differences in the near future (or near past).

It would be very nice to include a calendar date-picker. If I needed to schedule a meeting for a day 4 weeks from now, it would be much more expedient to select that day/date from an actual calendar view, rather than tap the "next day" button 28 times. If I needed to schedule a meeting for "two weeks from Thursday", I'd need to open my calendar first to get the date, then come back to this and fast-forward a lot...

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — AoE

*2026-02-10*

I’ve loved this app since it was a widget back in 2012. The only think it’s missing for me at the moment is to add AoE as a location, would help greatly with conference and other deadlines

### 5/5 — The Original and Still the Best

*2024-11-27*

I’ve been using this for over 10 years and it’s been a critical business tool for at-a-glance planing of multi-timezone meetings.

I hope the developer and app gets more exposure and development keeps going if any iOS changes cause compatibility issues.

### 5/5 — Still the best of it’s kind

*2024-09-09*

I have been using this app for years. I check occasionally to see if other apps, better ones, have appeared but none have. Still the best functionality and design. Works brilliantly.

### 5/5 — Reliable app for many years

*2023-02-23*

I have been using TimeScroller for more years than I can remember! (Probably around 10 at this point) I remain impressed with how often I find myself needing the functionality and customizability this app offers. This app should be included in any essential toolkit for anyone that has co-workers or family members in a variety of timezones.

I love that the developer has not changed the UI 486 times in 10 years. One of the best things this app has offered me is a stable and consistent UI that many other app developers should learn from. (Leave things alone)
Thanks again for this wonderful resource!

### 5/5 — My go to app for times of the world

*2022-09-28*

if you wanna know what time it is in the world this is the app for you. It is the easiest way to find out what time it’s going to be when you want it to be anywhere in the world.

For example, if you want to know what time it is in Japan, when it’s 8 o’clock in the morning this app will show you.

Been using this app for years and it works great all the time

### 5/5 — Brilliant

*2022-08-09*

Had this app for years. Keep seeing if anything new has come along and nothing compares. Visually clear and concise, simple to use and powerful.

### 5/5 — A classic essential. Long may it reign.

*2022-04-24, version 2.9*

The design hasn’t changed in years. Nor has its ease of use, it’s functionality, and it’s place on my phone. It does the job flawlessly. If you need to know when in the world multiple colleagues or family members are going to be in the office (or just awake) now, “tomorrow morning,” or in six months, this app is going to be your most superbest pal.

### 5/5 — Great app

*2020-09-06*

Brilliantly simple app. Clearly shows time differences in different locations and use a traffic light system so you can plan when’s a good time to call family and friends overseas.

### 5/5 — STILL the most useful time utility for travellers

*2020-07-13*

I work globally and this app is invaluable! I think I use it three to four times daily planning calls across the world. Also available as a widget for Mac. Highly Recommended

**Developer response:** Thank you for taking the time to review, it is really appreciated. I am working on a new solution for the Mac currently as widgets are no longer supported in Mac Catalina.

### 5/5 — The best timezone app for the WFH world

*2020-07-13*

I can’t believe I’ve been using this app for 11-12 years. It gets the occasional update for device compatibility but other than that it just keeps on going.

**Developer response:** Thank you for your kind review DeKa.
