## What is TimeShift?

TimeShift helps contractors, employees and managers track every work hour effortlessly. Its simple timer (Start, Pause, Continue, Stop) runs in the background (no missed time during pauses or app switches). Each TimeEntry records start/end times, pause durations, category (Standard, On-Call, Overtime) and notes, so your log is always accurate.

• On-Call & Overtime Tracking: TimeShift automatically flags hours beyond your preset threshold and tracks on-call shifts separately. Get notified when overtime is reached, and stay compliant with labour requirements.
• Insightful Reports: Tap into built-in charts (bar and pie) showing weekly hours by day, plus breakdowns of standard vs overtime work. Scrub charts for details, and see your progress against targets.
• Intelligent Siri Integration: Ask Siri “How much overtime this week?” and TimeShift will use AppIntents to fetch your data and respond naturally. Create Shortcuts or use Spotlight queries for quick summaries.
• Privacy & SwiftData: All your data is stored locally using SwiftData. No selling of your info – if you choose to enable iCloud, your data syncs securely. UI text is localization-ready for global use.
• Other Highlights: Customisable semantic colours and dark mode support. Widget/Live Activity for quick timer access. Local notifications remind you if you’ve been paused too long.
