Your word against theirs? Not anymore. They'll say it never happened. That you made it up. That the photo is old, edited, from somewhere else. SnapProof is a timestamp camera that records where and when every photo and video is taken, then has it certified by an independent timestamp authority. Change it afterwards, with a crop, a filter or a new date, and the check fails. The record speaks. You don't have to argue. Other apps stamp a date on your photo. You're still trusting the app. SnapProof is confirmed by an independent timestamp authority, and anyone can check it on a public website. No app, no account, no trusting anyone's word. SnapProof certifies a digital fingerprint of your file, never the content itself. The fingerprint is a code made from your file that can't be turned back into it, but catches any change down to a single pixel. We check the fingerprint. We never look at what you captured. WHY PEOPLE CHOOSE SNAPPROOF Independently certified, not a date you added yourself One price for everything from one moment. A crash with 12 photos and 2 videos? One snap, one price, not per file A professional certificate you can email, print, or hand to an attorney, an insurer, HR, or the other side Verifiable by anyone at verify.getsnapproof.com, with no app and no sign-up Works in 16 languages HOW IT WORKS Snap. Take as many photos and videos as the moment needs. Mix them, all in one snap. Time, date, and place are recorded onto each one instantly. Certify. When it matters, certify the snap. A unique verification code is burned onto every photo and video, an independent timestamp is issued, and you get a PDF certificate showing when and where each was taken, and that nothing has changed since. Share. Send it, print it, hand it over. A QR code on the certificate takes anyone straight to the check. Need everything at once? Export your snaps into one clean summary. ANYONE CAN CHECK IT Go to verify.getsnapproof.com Enter the code Choose the original photo or video from the app See the answer: Snap Verified, or Not Verified WHO USES SNAPPROOF MOVING OUT, LANDLORD & TENANT Move-in, move-out, and every scratch in between, with the date on it. CAR ACCIDENTS The damage and the scene, before the story changes. INSURANCE CLAIMS Storm, water, fire, theft, a package that arrived broken. Recorded the day it happened, not the day you claim. CONTRACTORS & JOB SITES Before, during, after. When "you broke it" comes, you have the answer. WORKPLACE Unsafe conditions, harassment, incidents. Time and place on each, ready for HR or your attorney. CUSTODY & CO-PARENTING Exchanges, incidents, conditions at home. Time and place on every one, so it isn't your word against theirs. PERSONAL SAFETY A private record of injuries, threats, and patterns, with the time and place on each. THEFT & DAMAGE The scene, recorded, for your police report and your insurer. ELDER CARE Conditions, injuries, neglect. A private record for the family. Took a minute. Glad it’s all in one place with the time on it, just in case the rental company tries to charge me later. ### 1/5 — Scam- Doesn’t give free video *2026-10-01* I thought you get one free video but it doesn’t work. Terrible app, wouldn’t reccomend!! **Developer response:** Hi Meena, thank you for telling us, and I'm sorry it didn't work for you. That is not the experience we want. To be clear about how SnapProof works: every photo and video you capture is free, with no limit. Each one is locked with the time and place, and you can save it or send it at no cost. The free copy carries a "PREVIEW COPY" mark. The only thing we charge for is a clean full copy without that mark, for when you need to hand it to a landlord, an insurer or an attorney. No subscription, no account, nothing hidden. If your video would not save or send, that is a bug on our side, not a paywall. An update that fixes video export problems is on its way. Please write to contact@getsnapproof.com and I will personally help you get it working. ### 5/5 — Thank you ! *2026-07-25* This is very useful and was looking for something like this in the past, now it’s available. Therefore I would not personally trust this app either since I’ve received no communication and was robbed of my time and energy.
