### 3/5 — Problematic Location Services

*2026-03-23, version 1.7.1*

Consistently fails to find my location even when I’m literally standing inside my business with 4 bars and wifi. Sometimes switching to google maps and getting directions to somewhere helps, other times I just have to restart my phone entirely which means I miss out on work hours or have to ask my employer to fix it by 5 mins. Shouldn’t be this hard.

### 3/5 — Why can’t I see if/when I clocked in or out??

*2024-11-04, version 1.7.1*

The app is fine— but for the LOVE— add a feature that lets *the user know ON THE APP* if they’re Clocked in or not! This is a basic thing— why hasn't this been done in the last three years I’ve been using the app? I have to go to HR each time to find out if I’m logged in or not. Update: and why can’t I reset my forgotten password? My new phone logged me out of everything and my Keychain didn’t save this password. No option to reset password. Agh.

### 3/5 — Why can’t I see if/when I clocked in or out??

### 3/5 — Please modernize!!!

*2024-10-02, version 1.7.1*

For what the app needs to do it’s fine, I can clock in and clock out, hours are recorded. Coming from a Samsung to iPhone, this app is years in the past and has none of the great features that the android version has. I am a native iOS app developer and can’t see any reason this app doesn’t do the same as the android version! You’re getting paid to have clients on both OS please update it!!!!

### 3/5 — Time log x2

*2024-09-09, version 1.7.1*

It’s easy to use and the website is nice but the app itself should show when you are logged in and logged out

### 2/5 — Please update like android

*2024-09-07, version 1.7.1*

Update the app

### 3/5 — Employees that use time station

*2024-05-16, version 1.7.1*

I am an employee and I use time station for my clockings at work.
I don’t really care for the app too much because I can’t see a history of my clockings all I can see is when I clock in and out of work. It would be really helpful to see a week of clockings and how many hours I had put in for the week. It’s nice to be able to keep record of these things and be aware hours in case I happen to go over or under my hours.
So I would give it 5 stars if the app had that feature.
Someone should really consider it!

### 3/5 — Its a good app, but…

*2024-04-25, version 1.7.1*

The concept and the development is great, unfortunately the lack of updates is creating problems with the ability to communicate with androids and apple users, no registered in’s and out’s are creating issues in our company. Wish the developer comeback and work on this.

### 4/5 — It’s good in all, but . . .

*2024-02-24, version 1.7.1*

I have used this app for a while now to clock in and out of work. However, this app has not been updated for iOS in 5 years. My Samsung users have had an update in the past year. It would be nice to have my TimeStation properly communicate when I’ve clocked in and when I’ve clocked out. Often, after clocking out, the system does not recognize that I have clocked out. My boss ends up having to go in and clocking me out themself.

As I said, the app is an easy tool, but it needs some updates. Thank you!

### 3/5 — Desperately Needs an Update for Apple

*2024-02-22, version 1.7.1*

The last update was 5 years ago - issues keep happening more and more with clocking in and out. This app really needs a massive update for Apple users.

### 4/5 — Please add color coding

*2024-01-11, version 1.7.1*

Hard to determine if I’m punched in or out. How about adding some color coding - if it’s green I’m punched in, red is punched out.

### 3/5 — User

*2023-10-28, version 1.7.1*

As a user and an employee would really be helpful for a punch in and punch out log for employees no the app

### 2/5 — Time Log

*2023-08-17, version 1.7.1*

It does what it’s supposed to, clocks you in/ out but it’s missing a vital component! A time log portal for all employees to access easily. Most of the time doing a hundred things at once you can easily forget to clock-in or out or forget you’ve already pumped in or out. A time log portal would help with the worry of being unsure and playing the guessing game or asking the employer if they could check for you. On the time log portal there should also be a time correction area where you can add a note. Example “Arrived 1hr early to set up displays; Forgot to clock in” / “Clocked-out at 7:30 but was then asked to stay later until 8:15, time was never corrected”. By adding a note you would avoid needing to send an email to employer for time correction. Im sure that could be annoying to an employer having multiple emails for time corrections and have several employees.

### 3/5 — Great app, buuuttt…

*2023-06-19, version 1.7.1*

I love this app, it really helps me keep up with my guys in the field. The only issue I have is that, some of them use android phones and the app isn’t supported on newer android softwares.

Is there any way this could be fixed? I really don’t want to swap to another system.

### 3/5 — It’s ok

*2022-12-17, version 1.7.1*

So I can take attendance but you need to pay for 8 and more workers

### 3/5 — Works but I have one serious recommendation

*2022-09-28, version 1.7.1*

I can’t possibly understand why when you scan your QR code to clock in it would use your front camera with no option to switch it. This is a serious issue for people who’s clock in codes are permanently attached to something like a wall. I just have to randomly move around the phone until maybe it scans maybe it doesn’t. It should absolutely use the back camera or at least have the option to switch the camera. I feel like this is a crazy easy fix so I am hoping this review will push that to happen:

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Worst app for time attendance

*2026-04-30, version 1.7.1*

Employees could not see their total number of hours or hours in last week

### 1/5 — Awful for employees

*2026-04-10, version 1.7.1*

This app is horrendous as it doesn’t allow employees to keep track of hours at all. You literally have to quickly screenshot your scan ins and outs each and every day if you wish to have any sort of record of your time if the employer doesn’t give access to time station.

### 1/5 — Minimal effort put into this app.

*2026-04-08, version 1.7.1*

All they need to do is let us see when we clock in, and when we clock out. That’s it. Right now it’s essentially just a clock. Lazy developers

### 1/5 — Terrible

*2025-06-20, version 1.7.1*

Requires location to be on for no good reason

### 1/5 — IOS 18 location issue

*2024-09-17, version 1.7.1*

The app doesn’t work in iOS 18, cannot find location even if location is enabled.

### 1/5 — Be cautious

*2024-05-16, version 1.7.1*

Beware of agencies that use this application

### 1/5 — Terrible app for employees

*2023-12-31, version 1.7.1*

You can’t track your weekly hours. You only get a single 2 second pop-up that tells you your clocked in time for that shift. Why can’t it just add hours up to give us a daily and weekly total. It’s too simple and such a crucial tool for employees to know what they are getting paid. This missing feature irritates me to the nth degree. Just update you app to have more functionality for employees. It’s frkn rediculous not to be able to see your total hours.

### 1/5 — This app has got to make an update

*2022-04-28, version 1.7.1*

This app is great and I would give it 5 stars if it would just tell you if you are “In” or “out” maybe even a running timer telling you how long you have been in. I have people that constantly forget and tell me this feature needs to be added. I will update my review when the changes are made

### 1/5 — Poor account initiating

*2020-03-30, version 1.7.1*

Lack of simple instructions to open account required by off duty employer and how to implement use.

### 1/5 — No stars

*2019-06-16, version 1.7.1*

I can’t even get this thing to scan

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — 100%

*2026-06-09, version 1.7.1*

I use it for my classroom and it is amazing! Building real life skills for students to clock in and out everyday! Great customer service! Couldn't recommend more!

### 5/5 — Teacher

*2025-09-20, version 1.7.1*

The Time Station app is an excellent tool for teaching job skills. It lets students practice clocking in and out, which builds responsibility, time management, and accountability. The reports make it easy for teachers to track progress and share data with families. Students enjoy using it and gain real workplace experience that prepares them for future success. I highly recommend it for any classroom focused on employment skills.

### 5/5 — Rescued me from my Desk.

*2024-12-12, version 1.7.1*

I Supervise a 3 man Maintenance/Water Crew for a small Town. This has saved me hours a Week by being so intuitive to operate. The Reports allowed me to automate our Payroll to minutes. Absolutely worth the investment.

### 5/5 — Great app

*2024-09-13, version 1.7.1*

This app is easy to use and the support is quick to respond to any help you need!

### 5/5 — Great app for high school programs

*2024-08-08, version 1.7.1*

We use this program to teach high schoolers the fundamental skill of punctuality and accountability. This gives the students a basic way to clock in and clock out of work based learning experiences, and gives the instructors and students a record of hours and attendance.

### 5/5 — Tracking hours

*2023-11-01, version 1.7.1*

There should be something on the app that a employee can track their hours to know exactly how many hrs they have worked. Is there a way yall can put that into the app? Besides that its very easy to use on clocking in and out.

### 5/5 — Perfect

*2023-04-13, version 1.7.1*

Great app and just works seamlessly!

### 5/5 — Awesome

*2022-05-27, version 1.7.1*

Very helpful

### 5/5 — Fantastic

*2021-10-04, version 1.7.1*

This app is great for tracking attendance. It is very user friendly. My only wish is that I can add hours to multiple people at a time

### 5/5 — Great for our small air conditioning company!

*2021-07-25, version 1.7.1*

TimeStation makes it easy for me to calculate payroll at the end of every pay period and the GPS features is excellent for keeping track of the jobs.
