After spending a little more than two years reviewing solutions for employee vacation time management I can wholeheartedly guarantee you that Timetastic is substantially superior to all other alternatives. On top of that it is insanely inexpensive to buy. I wish you luck in your hunting, but save your time and energy and download Timetastic.l! ### 5/5 — Must have app for small business 💪 *2022-06-17, version 5.6* Makes booking time off and leave requests pain free. Once it’s set up you don’t need to worry about too many staff being off at once. It really does just look after itself. The customisable features made this app stand out above others we trialled and the colour & design of the app makes it really user friendly and quick for all our employees. Would recommend! ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Stupid app as nothing *2025-05-26, version 6.22* This application is completely bad and ill-conceived and I'll tell you why: if you want to book a vacation for more than 15 days at the beginning of the year because the appointment may be filled soon, you have no chance because the application will tell you that you do not have enough days worked for the required number of days of vacation. ok fine. how can I have worked more than 8 months at the beginning of the year ??? so that I can get a vacation for 15 days ??? the employer does not have to worry that he will pay me vacation and I will not come because my vacation for 15 days will be at the end of July and by then I will have worked the required amount for vacation, i.e. no fear that the employer will lose money. but ok I'll give you an example if 5 people wanted a 15 day vacation in the middle of the year and according to this really stupid app you could only book it after September because otherwise the app would keep telling you that you don't have enough days worked for the required amount of vacation so then at the end of the year 5 people would have to take all their vacation and the employer would have no one at work. this app is terribly stupid. ### 1/5 — Terrible interface *2024-11-28, version 6.21* How hard can it be to make an app that shows a calendar so you can select a range of days to take off. Days already booked as bank holidays or weekend are so faintly marked you can hardly see them. The selection calendar is a different page to the standard calendar and doesn’t show you days already taken. So you have to ‘remember’ those days from one page to the next. Selecting from and to is awful, once you choose the ‘to’ date it sets both from and to to the same date. So you log into the website and do it from there.
