### 3/5 — BRING THE OLD TIMO BACK

*2023-09-03, version v7.0.0*

I am writing this review all over again because I MISS THE OLD TIMO I have been using Timo from so long and the new update made me lose all my stuff and points even my interest kind of. Now I have stoped using Timo for about a year or so. Please Please Please can you bring the old Timo back I would really appreciate that.

### 4/5 — Game Changer!

*2023-06-07*

This app has saved us! My daughter’s mornings were so rough and now they are manageable and even pleasant! It’s so nice to have the timer to help keep her on track instead of us nagging her.

In addition to completing tasks earning stars, I wish as a parent I could award them to her to doing her routine without the app or by doing some other tasks not on her list for that day! I also wish that she didn’t lose points by skipping a routine altogether. She doesn’t need the app EVERYDAY/EVERYNIGHT, but if we skip it seems she’s losing stars.

Overall, I would recommend this to anyone who would benefit from a visual timer (warning— the dancing sloths are too fun and might motivate to run right up to the end of the timer! Haha!)

### 3/5 — I miss the old Timo…

*2023-03-10*

I’ve always loved this app, and as a person who’s grown up with pretty bad adhd this has been a LIFECHANGER. And I was obsessed with how cute the avatars were. There were so many choices for customizing your avatar and each one was so adorable. I even was so much better about following my routines because I wanted to get stars to customize my avatar. I got so many stars and really dedicated time into it and I loved my avatar. I ended up not using it for a while and forgot about it, and when I came back I saw it had changed a lot. I was really upset because it doesn’t give you routine ideas/presets like the original version did, which helped me a lot because it helped me remember what things I need to do if I couldn’t think of them off the top of my head while setting it up. The avatar isn’t as cute and the customization options are lacking so much… I couldn’t even find my own hair color because all there is available is black and funky unnatural dyed colors (which are cool, but I also can’t find brown hair or auburn hair so I’m pretty sad about that). I’m really unhappy with the changes, but I can’t really even afford to keep using it anyways after the trial… sorry if I seem harsh but I miss the old Timo so much, it helped me immensely. 💔

### 3/5 — Great but not.

*2023-02-28*

I really loved using this app. It was great for rushed or normal mornings. I used it daily, but then there was a change. All of a sudden it was asking me to pay to use the app. I don’t have the money for it and don’t want to use a free trial because I don’t want my time on Timo to run out. This is still one of my all time favorite apps, but sadly I cannot use it anymore. 😢

### 3/5 — Love/Hate

*2023-01-09*

I love the new layout for Timo. It was hard to edit/reorganize routines before but it seems a lot smoother now. I’ve been through two major updates with Timo and they can’t seem to settle on the award system. Honestly, I just miss the original avatar. The new avatar was less aesthetically appealing and the new system without it just seems less appealing to my child.

### 3/5 — I do still like it

*2022-05-03*

I like the format and the easy way to maneuver through the routines but I liked the old designs of the characters/avatars better, they were geared towards younger kids. I think there should be a separation between how the avatars look if it says preschool choice I would want it to look more like the old cartoony and simple and shorter characters that my daughter enjoyed more and this design now should be for older kids 7 and up.

### 3/5 — DO NOT UPDATE

*2022-03-08, version 2.4.2*

App is now a subscription service with monthly or annual fee. It’s been a good app for us, but they should have made a new app instead of bamboozling everyone who has already been using it and sneaking this in with the update.

### 3/5 — Could be awesome

*2022-02-23, version 2.4.2*

But app keeps crashing randomly and when it does, the only way to get it back working is to uninstalled. Reboot iPhone. Reinstall. And then you start from scratch with the welcome wizard at each « screen » yada-yada.
Also, there is no sound at all within the app. No music. No sound nothing.

Hope there is a fix soon. My daughter loves it (when it works!) and I would be willing to pay the subscription if this is fixed.

### 3/5 — Unexpected update

*2022-02-01, version 2.4.2*

I use the app because it’s the only way to get my toddler (3) to do his daily routines on time - He genuinely can’t focus on completing a task without the routine timer. The music helps switch him into motivation too.

However, recently I’ve not been happy. I was randomly logged out of my son’s account and lost all his earned points, all his routine settings and data history with the log out. I tried logging back in and my parent email was “non-existent”. Later, I noticed the update to the graphics, much similar to the other Timo app, and the new subscription service. The price is OK but I should have been warned of the update and changes beforehand. My son’s lost account is sadly missed. I’ve had to set up a new child account all over again.

### 3/5 — Great App! At least, when it was free….

*2022-02-01, version 2.4.2*

This used to be an amazing app with so much potential. But then, you guys decided to make us pay. What a shame.

### 2/5 — Make it more gender neutral

*2022-01-06, version 2.3.3*

Why can you only be a boy or girl? You don’t need gender to have a routine

### 2/5 — Kids

*2021-12-09, version 2.3.3*

I would give five stars because I love this app. My son loves this app and it makes our days go more smoothly. I wish it allowed for multiple kids to be added without be loaded on separate devices. I have three young kids and we are trying to make a routine for all of them.

### 4/5 — Good app for kids

*2021-08-13, version 2.3.3*

Kids love this app and it helps them stay on track and know what they need to do next. Only downfall is I have 2 kids and you can only create 1 account.

### 4/5 — Questions

*2021-07-21, version 2.3.3*

Hi! I have two questions: How can I change the language? How I can add two profiles kid? Thank you

### 4/5 — Apple Watch

*2021-05-17, version 2.3.3*

Is there going to be an Apple Watch version of this app? My daughter used to have an octopus watch but it got wet and died.

This would be a great asset to her.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Bad login

*2024-03-05, version v7.0.0*

If I try to log in or sign up it keeps giving me DAULimitExceeded error. Can’t use the app at all.

### 1/5 — Error message whenever I use app

*2023-07-01, version v7.0.0*

Writing a review because I could not find any way to contact the developer or report this issue. Downloaded the app and it’s completely unusable because I am unable to create an account. I only get an error message saying “Evaluation Mode Player Count Exceeded.”

### 1/5 — Liked it until latest update

*2023-05-05*

I really liked this app until the latest update. Before the latest update I could make custom routines for specific days and my routine changes would save. After the latest update, when I try to add things to a routine it doesn’t save. Also, if I try to add something to a routine on a certain day it adds it to all the days. This app has become pretty useless if I have to keep the routines the same because I can’t change them anymore or set them up properly with certain routines on specific days.

### 1/5 — Have to pay for subscription

*2022-03-26, version v2.4.3*

Daughter used the app for a while and now we have pay for the use of a timer. Do not waste your time

### 1/5 — Signs out

*2020-11-18, version 1.1.3*

Hi, my child loves this app but it constantly freezes telling us that we’ve entered the wrong password. When we go to press OK, nothing happens. Fix glitches so kids will have a better experience. It’s frustrating especially for kids with ADHD...

### 1/5 — Can’t get in

*2020-07-27, version 1.1.3*

I enter the verification code, then check,(it’s eighth still doesn’t work.

### 1/5 — Stop working after a week

*2020-05-13, version 1.1.3*

It worked great at beginning. And suddenly can’t properly be launched any more. Stuck right after the starting screen.

### 2/5 — Stopped working 2024

*2024-03-21, version v7.0.0*

I’m sort of devastated this app doesn’t work anymore no matter what I try. This app kept me (26 y/o) in my routine for years. You’d think I’d be better but I truly rely on this app to get me ready in the morning. I’m sad it doesn’t work anymore.

### 2/5 — Update- wish we could just pay outright. -Awesome app for kids routines!

*2022-08-09*

We decided not to use the app anymore once it went to a subscription model. I don’t mind paying outright for the app… but not a fan of subscription. We did really love this app when it was free!

I have been using this app for my 5 and 3 year old since August for morning, lunch, afternoon, and evening routines as needed. It is so helpful! I appreciate that it isn’t too complicated to figure out how to set up, that it is entertaining my kids, and that the timer visuals are big and clear! Well done! It is sometimes glitchy and freezes if we don’t close the app completely in the evenings but the next morning all we have to do is completely close out of it and then reopen for it to work again.

**Developer response:** Hi Kelby24, thank you so much for your 5 stars and awesome reviews! You made our team's day! We are so happy for your 5 and 3 years old kiddos! Please tell them Timo is so proud of them. Don't forget that you are a hero of your family! We are sending all our respect to you! Have a great one 👍

### 2/5 — Keeps crashing

*2022-03-10, version 2.4.2*

I love this app but it keeps crashing since the update. I rely on it and have paid for premium. Please fix this.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Welll

*2024-05-27*

You know I really used to like this game until y’all wanted to charge me a SUBSCRIPTION to plan my morning. Let alone the fact that we have bills and taxes to worry about, my crazy mornings should NOT have to be paid for!!! If I wanna wake up every morning and have a plan for myself for FREE I should. This is the only app that has worked for me and now y'all are gonna charge me! This is like betrayal. But overall, I can’t lie this app gets the job done and it gets done every time, so 5 stars.

### 5/5 — This app is probably the best Apple have on my iPad

*2023-12-09, version v7.0.0*

Tim, always good because it makes me get dressed faster and motivate me to do things that are usually wouldn’t want to do so I recommend getting your meet you or I can get dressed faster. Have a bath faster have a nap faster do anything faster Tim Aussie is such a motivating character. He makes me want to do anything that I usually would want to do so I recommend getting this app today.

### 5/5 — Add a at home/weekend task

*2021-07-22, version 2.3.3*

We need some home or weekend task cause some kids don’t go to school cause of
The virus :)

### 5/5 — So...

*2021-04-14, version 2.3.2*

I LOVE this app but I have some ideas that I would like to suggest:
Firstly, having one school day routine and one weekend routine so you can switch between the two as I find it difficult to change it constantly
Secondly, change the name to Timo
Jess

### 5/5 — Timo daily routine

*2021-03-03, version 2.3.2*

Hi Timo I love this app I only just got it and so far it is amazing and I am 10 turning 11 and personally I think it is great but there could be some changes to it there should be different types of languages so other people from different country’s can get the app thank you from Megan
