### 3/5 — Works fine

*2025-09-26*

The one thing I should be able to enjoy over tracking my progress is the customizability. I don’t have many routines but for some unholy reason the repeaters function will not let me keep my desired pause between set time. I can only do the the no-hang protocol one side at a time, and instead of allowing me the ability to set a 10 second timer between sets, it changes the timer to 20 to “better suit my settings”. Why give me a customization option that won’t even stay set??? For now I am stuck doing 6 reps for one hand then 6 for the next, effectively doubling my warmup time.

### 3/5 — Please Fix Repeaters

*2025-09-06*

I like the app in general and it’s been helpful for measuring progress. However the Repeaters function is overly confusing to use. Why does enabling the Left/Right function add a lower limit to the pause between sets? It would be to track progress on each hand and keep my session moving quickly if I didn’t have to sit through a much longer timer in between sets each time. Please either remove the lower pause limit or let me skip individual sections of the session or I’ll have to use the Custom Session function which shouldn’t be necessary and is also hard to use in its own right. In order to program multiple sets at different target zones I have to create multiple presets and run more than one program across my training session.

TLDR: a good app for measuring strength and tracking progress. Repeaters and Custom Session are too clunky to be useful for consistent training

### 3/5 — Perfectible

*2024-12-05, version 2.2.1*

### 4/5 — Good but

*2024-11-18, version 2.2.1*

Good but would it be possible to maintain the countdown when switching apps (specially useful for rest). Also been using it for repeaters training it’s very difficult to see where the current effort is with respect to the target without holding the phone up close. Can this be made more visible?

### 3/5 — Needs improvement

*2024-03-19*

Tindeq loses connection to the app consistently, even with a fresh battery, and closes the session without saving.

Improvements needed for connectivity and default to saving the activity instead of discarding on disconnect. There’s no reason for data loss due to disconnection.

**Developer response:** Hello,
Thanks for the feedback. I absolutely agree, the data should not be lost when a disconnect happens. We will get this fixed.

Regarding the frequent connection losses you're experiencing, could you contact us at support@tindeq.com? Then we could investigate this issue further and try to get to the bottom of it.

### 5/5 — Good app, rfd needs to improve

*2024-03-14, version 2.1.4*

Rfd function needs to improve, its dificult to screen comparing to other dynamometers.

### 5/5 — Does the trick

*2024-03-02*

I’m updating my old review. I had issues previously with the endurance training when training right/left separately on another setting. But their recent updates have fixed this.

I like how it’s not too complicated but does what it needs to do.

**Developer response:** I am sorry about your bad experience, and sorry for the late reply.

Can you explain this in more details? Does the measure functionality in the endurance setup page not work, or is it that it shows 5lbs immediately when entering the endurance setup page?

Could you contact us at support@tindeq.com, and we can continue to investigate the issue there?

### 4/5 — Difficulty taring device

*2024-02-03, version 2.1.4*

Might come back to update this review. Only just received the device and learning how to use it. I can't seem to get my device to tare at 0.0 it seems to always be at 0.2.

### 3/5 — Works with some issues

*2023-10-23*

It seems to work for measuring my current force. However, when using the endurance setting it just assumes my max is 5lbs even when I measure it as something else. I wish I could get this feature to work as it is exactly what I’m trying to work on.

### 5/5 — Repeaters feature is so money

*2023-05-08*

They even have a feature to test your max and have it automatically bake in to your workout. (Percentage of max will be based off it)

App is so good now. What a comeback story!

### 4/5 — Great but want more.

*2023-03-27, version 2.0.6*

I really rate the recent changes to the app especially the inclusion of the repeater protocol. That function in particular could really do with a pause button, as well as a save button even when not completed. I Gauge my recovery while doing the protocol and don’t always want to do all the planned sets (and sometimes life gets in the way.) If like to be able to pause and/or save what I did achieve at the point I chose/had to stop.
Keep it up!

### 5/5 — Love this thing

*2023-03-17, version 2.0.5*

Can you please make the auto fill ignore capital letters ? Also if you could see more text ( characters ) when looking at saved data names it would be really helpful for viewing info .

Thanks for such a great product .

### 3/5 — Great app when it works

*2023-02-17*

Prior to this new update, app was solid and never disconnected.

Since I’ve updated, I’ve been dealing with issues with the Progressor disconnect in the middle of testing or reps.

Hoping there is another update soon to address this issue

**Developer response:** Hello derrickjohnn,
I am sorry about this. This might be caused by the device turning off due to low battery. Unfortunately we forgot to trigger the low battery warning in the new app before the device turns off. However, in the newest update this should be fixed.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Requires login?

*2026-03-07*

Why the F do i have to log in to the app to use it!? If im out at the crag i cant log in??? Change it back to not require log in

### 1/5 — Va fatal

*2025-07-16, version 2.3.1*

Se sale todo el rato y no te deja hacer el trabajo oportuno

### 1/5 — Needs internet to work

*2023-02-13*

I primarily use this device when bouldring outside. After the latest update it does not work at all without an internet connection, which comes up all the time bouldring outside. Please add an offline mode for this very common use case…

**Developer response:** Hello Lololosj,
I'm sorry about this.
We will address this in the upcoming weeks

Update: I have now implemented full support for offline usage, please contact us at support@tindeq.com and we will provide you with an early beta so you can test it out.

### 1/5 — Progressor does not work w/ new update

*2023-02-07, version 2.0.0*

The new 2.0 update causes the Progressor to not connect at all.

### 1/5 — Last version Does not work properly

*2022-07-28, version 1.10.0*

Last update does not work properly with Iphone. The screen des not appear entirely amd it is impossible to set the % of max load

### 1/5 — Constantly freezes

*2020-02-24*

After almost every rep using the peak test the app freezes. I have to remove the battery from the unit in order to reset everything. Utterly useless.

### 2/5 — Glitchy

*2025-02-26*

App is super glitchy. Presets dont save correctly and then change when you try to use them. Ful of bugs. If they fixed that stuff itd be great

### 2/5 — App and connectivity are terrible

*2021-06-28*

This device initially worked well. I love the measurement functions. They are exactly what I needed in an affordable device. However, the app loses connection to the device so frequently it makes it useless. Probably about 15 times a workout and each time it disconnects it ruins a set. The app also crashes a lot. I replaced the battery hoping it helped, but it did nothing. At this point, if they can get this connectivity issue resolved, I’m going to just throw the device in the trash.

### 3/5 — New App Update is Buggy

*2026-04-24*

New updated app crashes a lot. Overall the device is great and the app functionality is fine. As a clinician using it for muscle testing you get what you pay for. If I wanted something more geared to what I need I would’ve had to pay $500. For now it’s great, but the crashes and bugs are annoying.

### 3/5 — Rehabilitación y Entrenamiento

*2025-10-07, version 2.3.2*

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Much Improved

*2026-04-22, version 2.5.0*

Great UI update. The tabs make everything feel less crowded and much easier to read.

### 5/5 — Espectacular

*2025-08-31, version 2.3.1*

Necesario para entrenar

### 5/5 — Awesome Tool

*2025-07-26*

Fantastic app with so many tools. Highly recommend. Easy to use.

### 5/5 — Great Training tool

*2025-05-12, version 2.2.1*

Great training tool to track progression of your training and assess your daily form.

### 5/5 — Game Changer

*2025-04-08*

4/8/25

No idea about other comments in the past but if you are thinking about getting this just get it. You absolutely won’t regret it. Knowing your true 1RM for training is essential for creating proper training plans. This thing is a game changer

### 5/5 — So far so, so good!

*2025-03-22*

Excellent tool for rehab (unintended use) and of course, finger strength measurement. It’s incredibly useful to compare gains in strength with associated pain levels while using it for rehabilitation. There might be a reason behind it but I think it would be fun to be able to rename your Tindeq as you see fit, as opposed to a random collection of numbers. As far as battery goes, I’ve only charged it once and it’s still sitting at half battery with plenty of use.

### 5/5 — Increíble

*2024-09-04, version 2.1.7*

### 5/5 — Tindeq200

*2024-06-02, version 2.1.5*

Brilliant testing & training tool

### 5/5 — fantastic device

*2024-05-16, version 2.1.5*

perfect tool for climbers, like to measure max finger strength and adjusting the correct intensity for repeater training, when at the crag it can be used for the warmup of the finger muscles, just to name two examples but there is much more - simply saying a have to for climbing training

### 5/5 — Easy to use and navigate

*2024-05-12*

I have been using it for over six months and have nothing but good things to say about it. The screens are easy to navigate and the data is valuable to me especially the way it's presented. I like the way it shows your numbers while you're pulling.
