The app also imprints it’s name on top of your photo. ### 2/5 — Updates have ruined this app *2021-04-05* It feels as though each time I come back to use or something else isn’t available. I purchased several filter sets- they are reloadable. The “newsprint” option used to be free - now it’s behind the paywall. So I can’t continue a series I started earlier. And worst: now it only does “square”? What on Earth. How is THAT a good idea? May still use rather than delete, but will really need to fiddle with it. Will FOR SURE not spend any more money. **Developer response:** Hi, the app does work with any photo aspect ratio, not only square. ### 3/5 — Please remove the %?! watermark!!! *2020-02-23* I don't see how it can be removed. I believe I did buy this app before so ... what gives? A week later, no response. Bought this to make DuoTone videos. Crashes every time on save. Tested multiple devices. That might be a bug that can be solved, but the color options are fixed and very limited. I’m just tired of downloading apps and finding out they are useless to me unless I pay for features I’m not sure if I will want or not. **Developer response:** Hi, thank you for your review. You can still use the app without subscribing. Thank you. ### 4/5 — Good but would like more options *2015-10-06* I have been looking for a duotone app to create a similar effect to Spotify's new aesthetic. This app is the closest I've been able to find. However two things are missing - there should be an option to customize the two colors you want to use to create a filter. And there should be a way to raise or lower the intensity of the filter. Depending on how contrasted my photos are, the filter can be a bit too strong. ### 4/5 — Updated Review *2015-09-15, version 2.6* Update: Thanks for taking my advice! Prices have been reduced to reasonable. They added a dollar to the "buy all" and call you a "funder" meaning you never have to pay for added packs. I think that's a smart way to get another buck as long as you add some! Now that you fixed the format, I would like to see you add the ability to adjust the filters (preferably the ability to reduce the effect). In addition, there should also be more textures than just newsprint. After you add the ability to reduce the effect of a filter I would want to be able to later the effects and perhaps change the way they are blended (i.e. multiply, color dodge, lighten, etc). P.S. I paid the funder fee of 3.99. Thanks for listening whether it was me or you just came to your senses. Again, I've had this app for a long time. Before: This app has some interesting components to it and it's been around for a long time. I think the price of the filter packs is ridiculous. Basically you get 24 variations of what is already included and you have to pay 8 dollars more. I recommend charging $.99 for each pack maybe $1.99 for the 12 filter set and doing a package deal for $2.99 to get all of them. That's still a little pricey for what these filters do in my opinion. Either way I think you need to rework your pricing or you're going to piss people off. ### 4/5 — Ottima app *2015-06-15, version 2.1* Effetti originali per modificare le foto. Crashes constantly. Only purchased to be able to duotone using a specific hex code and wouldn’t work. Did you try uninstalling the app and installing it again? You won't lose any purchases by doing that and sometimes that's all it takes. Nul ### 1/5 — Save your money...crashes on save 90% of time...and still doesn’t work! *2018-04-22* I’m extremely disappointed with this app. Despite the assurance of Apple’s compatibility statement, this app doesn’t work on my iPad (11.3). This app graciously lets you apply the filters, and seamlessly lets you purchase and expansion pack you want. But when you attempt to save it crashes 90% (yes, I actually kept count...27 crashes in consecutive 30 attempts to save). The 3 times it did NOT crash, it failed to save the work. I really would like my money back...but like everything else here its a crapshoot you we don’t see our money again when we get taken with shoddy apps like this. **Developer response:** I'm sorry you had that experience. The app is tested on several devices before releasing it, but sometimes it's difficult to cover all possible scenarios. Please try the updated version to see if the problem still happens.
