You could choose where to put your mutated geese on your goose tree to optimize and make the most money, but the latest update (which was a year ago) removed all of that and turned it into a basic mobile idle game. The steam version is what the mobile game originally was, but expanded upon and is a great experience overall. If want to try this game, buy the game on steam for $7. The mobile version doesn’t seem to get updates anymore. I do agree with a pay wall to remove ads (someone has to pay for the game), but honestly a 2hr time limit for the free version is ridiculous… especially when I can’t even pay to upgrade… I keep tapping and nothing happens. There is also the fact that some missions are just absolutely impossible. I needed to upgrade something in order to get a reward, I spent a 4 hr and got ONE LEVEL. I needed like 50 more to get the reward, and again, the 12 hr idle isn’t working… so I only get 2 hrs. It would have taken me far too long for the reward so I moved on, my only thing is…. Why even make the reward if it’s that hard to get…. Anyway…. Update your app. I enjoy the dopamine when I’m not frustrated that I can’t have a 12hr idle time…. Also, maybe lower some of the difficulty, how long is the longest you think an idle time game should have for one mission? Cuz I was calculating it out to days (months with the free version) ### 3/5 — Loved it until level 31 *2026-04-29, version 4.0.2* The game was great and I really liked it but once you reach level 31 and have done most of the challenges you get left with one remaining challenge which is basically impossible to do. Additionally, from level 30 to 31 the level of challenges needed increased significantly. I loved the original. It was a puzzle to figure out how to maximize the cash from each baby. Now it’s just boring. It’s so straightforward and simple, and it just drags on. You spend most of the time just waiting for something to happen. ### 1/5 — Very Misleading *2026-07-23, version 4.0.2* After playing for a few days, I realized that all of the content I saw online was mostly erased in version 2.0. It’s truly a poorly executed idle grind cash grab. The game hits a point where you can no longer progress at any meaningful rate. Before the update, you could move around and reposition the blossoms in different ways to make combos. I loved playing around with them to see what layouts would combine the babies in the best way to get the most value. Tingus Goose used to be one of my favourite idle games, and the massive gameplay changes have made it virtually unplayable. It’s just a worse version of the already terrible dinosaur minigame from Cell to Singularity. Also, the automation/QoL is directly tied to the gacha system, which goes against the entire design philosophy of “automation comes from work”. For some reason, rather than releasing Tingus Goose 2, the devs remodeled the gameplay entirely. Throwing away all possibility of playing the previous game It’s now a AdVenture Capitalist style click idle miner. This was a real and actually thoughtful game before. I paid $60+ dollars for features in the previous version. There now is nothing unique about this game besides the graphics. There are millions of games like this. The game itself is extremely boring and repetitive, eventually you will get stuck without progression unless you will "pay to play". I loved this game and had actually spent money to remove ads so I could enjoy it more. The original was so vibrant and goofy, there was actual strategy in how you set up your blossoms and you could tap to bounce the babies around. I returned today and seeing the 2.0 update was upsetting. Almost every mechanic that made it a game is gone. Blossoms sprout automatically you get no choice. Upgrades do nothing. You have to complete challenges that take Forever to move on. It’s genuinely frustrating to have given this game money to get rid of ads and come back to it just advertising its own micro-transactions in your face. But I guess we shouldn’t be surprised when the creator’s website has links to their own useless meme coin.
