However, it is simply far too “pay to win” to be enjoyable after a point. ### 3/5 — Ads are sneaky *2024-07-20, version 1.9.4* The gameplay is fun and I can see myself spending hours on this but I think there should be an option to go Ad Free. Also when the ad is finished and the cross appears in the top right to close, I find it’s VERY sneaky because when you click to close it actually clicks the ad. Even with a super accurate click. I suspect the developers have done this to force a click of the ad. Also often times even after clicking to close, it will not close the ad and the cross appears again to close. I found this ruined the game for me. Whether it’s been done on purpose or not I can’t say. ### 2/5 — Too many adds now *2024-01-22, version 1.9.0* I never write reviews. I played this game years ago and never had as many ads show up as I do now. Literally every second or third action I do there’s a 30-45 second add that also has a wait delay of 15-30 seconds. This is just too much to keep me actively playing. There’s no point in playing when it’s mostly ads. ### 4/5 — I love this game, but… *2023-12-24, version 1.9.0* I absolutely love this game, I love the art style, I love the story and I love the style of play. The only things I would change about it are the wait timers and the wait for resources in labor sites. The long wait timers start to make the game playable for only short bursts as once all your survivors are busy, all you can do is play the tinker garden or play a different app. I think an addition mini-game would help to pass the time! Have also noticed a bug in the game where if your phone dies, you get zero resources when you log back in, regardless of how long you have been away from the game with your survivors working in their labor sites. Side note: I loved the fishing version of the tinker garden mini game that you have to play to unlock Otto. I thought it was very well done. ### 2/5 — Save file issue *2023-09-15, version 1.8.33* I played this game years ago and recently decided to revisit it, since I knew I saved via Facebook I just linked it again and it worked for a while. But when I “unlocked” the flag building it crashed. I uninstalled and tried again and it crashes. This is across all devices, including non iOS devices. It’s a shame since I was super far and had a lot of survivors unlocked. I refuse to play through it again as I have already done so and spent money on the game. ### 3/5 — Fun, but glitchy and unforgiving. *2023-02-11, version 1.8.30* Neat interface, lots of content. I paid to remove interstitial ads. Unfortunately, the game is still virtually unenjoyable without looking up solutions to the text adventure problems and knowing your options. The app is also littered with glitches. Here are a couple that I’d like to see fixed: -Display error in build menu where your special parts are not visible. -Error in build menu where you will be randomly taken to a different section of the menu; can lead to mis-taps if it happens right before you’re about to build something. -Error in exploration interface where you will be randomly taken to another area without selecting it. Similar to the above issue in the build menu. Can also lead to misallocation of survivors if you don’t catch it. There are more, of course. After hitting cancel and going into game settings, Facebook has disconnected itself. ### 1/5 — LovED this game *2024-01-08, version 1.9.0* So I just recently found bears knife in the swamp and so OF COURSE I equipped on of my survivors with it and went to the hidden hut only to find out you can’t give it to him like that. There’s no other option other than to spend 200 gems to bribe him and this to me is SO STUPID because why would that even be an option. I can’t do anything with it now and if it’s replaced it won’t come back. The gameplay is mid but I was ignoring all the flaws like (ridiculous gem prices, time restrictions, FORCED PARTICIPATION IN THINGS YOU DONT WANT TO PARTICIPATE IN) I don’t understand why you don’t have the option to NOT participate in the Christmas event and monster fighting. Ever single time I open the app I get 5+ forced story reading of the same thing over and over again. The amount of ads is not even the problem it’s the restrictions you have on the game with absolutely no going back. This game needs some serious work and maybe for someone who doesn’t know anything about the game play, and tell you how it went. I also feel like of course ur gonna know everything in the game you produced so just try to think abt ppl who no nothing about the game getting demolished with no coming back from it. ### 1/5 — Too much adds *2023-12-30, version 1.9.0* I prefer a paid version. Tried closing and reopening the game, tried it while there were survivors at camp and while there were none, even reinstalled the game, still doesn’t work.
